Chapter 41

Fana stood in front of Luck as Luck stared at her with a large grin on his face. His magic suddenly flared up as he used his lightning boots and gloves.

" Really? He even uses lightning similar to Drake. I'm starting to think this guy is his long-lost child! " Fana said towards Mars, Rachael and Mark.

" Sad part is that she isn't wrong. " Rachael said as she shook her head.

" Hey, are we going to fight now! " Luck yelled.

" Yep. Come at me. " Fana said with a smirk on her face.

Luck grinned as he rushed forward. A lightning trail followed behind him as he used a flying kick at Fana's head.

Fana tilted backward Luck flew over her. Luck widened his eyes as he quickly spun in mid-air and slammed his feet and hands into the ground to stop.

Once he did he quickly added more magic to his legs and dashed forward.

* boom *

He broke the ground beneath him as he aims a punch at Fanas head. Fana smirked as she disappeared from view avoiding Lucks punch.

Luck stopped and quickly followed after her. He disappeared leaving a trail of lightning as he kept punching and kicking Fana.

Fana just dodged and disappeared from his sight.

* bam *

She reappeared and kicked Luck in the gut. Luck flew back at a fast speed as he hit the ground.

He bumped up and down on the ground as he soon started to skid before he got control and stopped himself.

The ground was dug up from Lucks feet and hands trying to stop him as they held onto the ground.

" Not bad. But you'll have to do better. " Fana said.

" Yep, I know. This is so much fun. I'm gonna go all out now! " Luck said with a loud voice as his magic flared to life.

Fana stared at Luck as she grinned.

" Then what are you waiting for? Hurry up and attack me. " Fana said.

Luck created balls of lightning next to him and fired them. Fana did the same except with fire. They meet in the middle but Fana's overpowered Lucks as they headed towards him.

Still having that maniac smile Luck disappeared from view as he dodged. Fana looked to her right as she saw Luck attacking her with a lightning-infused punch.

Stepping back she avoided the punch as Luck kept moving forward. Luck ran faster and jumped onto the wall.

Fana watched as Luck climbed the wall and rocketed toward her with an axe kick.

* boom *

Lucks kick made contact with the ground as it caved in. A large crater was formed as Luck knew he missed Fana. Fana appeared to Lucks left.

* bam *

Lucks eyes widened as Fana punched him in the face with her left hand. Luck rocketed back towards the wall behind him.

* boom *

Luck slammed into the wall as he coughed out a mouthful of blood as he fell from the wall.

* splash *

Luck landed in the water before getting up and looked at Fana.

* clap * * clap *

" Congrats you managed to improve. " Fana said with a smile. Luck looked down and noticed the change.

He now had armor made out of lightning as he stared at Fana. He grinned with excitement.

Fana knew that smile and got ready. Both of them disappeared from view as they meet in the middle.

* bam *

Fana's fist clashed with Lucks. Luck was pushed back as Fana appeared right in front of him.

Thinking quickly he raised his hand and fired a bolt of lightning at point-blank range. Fana however fought with Drake before as practice so she had no problem dodging.

* bam *

Luck felt Fana's foot make contact with his face as he got rocketed to the left. He hit the surface of the water as he kept bouncing on it.

He soon stopped and got up quickly. He rushed at Fana at an even faster speed than before, attacking her with a flurry of punches and kicks.

Fana dodged and countered most of them. Luck went in for a punch to her face with his lightning-induced fist.

* bam *

Luck stared with wide eyes as his mouth gaped as Fana caught his punch with her hand covered in flames.

Smirking, Fana ignited her other fist in flames and punched Luck in the gut.

' Fire fist '

Her flames took the form of a fist as Luck was rocketed back. Luck couldn't move as he made contact with the wall behind him.

* boom *

* snap *

A large explosion occurred as Luck made contact with the wall and his spine broke. He coughed up a lot of blood as his eyes rolled into the back of his head as he passed out.

" Well have to admit that was fun! " Fana exclaimed.

" Great but could you at least bring him over here. You kinda broke his spine. " Rachael said.

" Yeah, I know. One sec. " Fana said. She quickly appeared beside Luck and brought him back to Rachael.

" Well, this should do. " Rachael said as she covered Luck in water and healed his injuries. His wounds closed and his spine was restored. It was like he never fought Fana in the first place.

* slap *

Fana then slapped Luck as he woke up.

" I'm up! I'm up! Where am I? " Luck said as he looked around and saw Fana, Rachael, Mark, and Mars.

" Oh that, you came here, had a fight with her and lost. " Mark said as knelt in front of Luck.

" Eh? Oh, that's right. Also, how did you get so strong?! " Luck yelled as he stood in front of Fana.

" Oh, simple I trained my was off every single day and fought with people to improve. " Fana said.

" Oh okay. I hadn't fought with a strong opponent in forever. That fight was so much fun. " Luck exclaimed.

" It was pretty fun. " Fana said.

All of them then looked behind to see the people who just entered.

" This was where the fight must have happened. "

In front of them were 3 people. They all wore uniforms with the symbol of a rising sun.

" Mages from the golden dawn are here as well. They sent 2 teams. Interesting. " Mars said as he observed.

" Hmm, it seems you are from the Diamond kingdom. You the from the black bulls why are you standing with them?! " Said Klaus.

" Oh, they healed me after I fought with her. " Luck said as he pointed at Fana.

" I see. Why did you heal him? You are from another kingdom. " Klaus said.

" Wait before this goes on, what are your names? " Rachael asked.

" My name is Luck. "

" Yuno. "

" Mimosa Vermillion. "

" Klaus. "

" Mars. "

" Mark. "

" Fana. "

" Rachael. "

" Alright so to answer your question, we really aren't here to be enemies with the clover kingdom. We are just here because we were bored and had nothing to do. " Mark said.

" Makes sense. I don't really have much for o so I pick fights to pass time. " Luck said.

" I see. Then there's no need to fight. Mimosa, Yuno stand down. " Klaus said.

" Okay. " Mimosa said as she stopped gathering magic.

" Excuse me can I have a match with one of you? " Yuno asked.

"Yuno? " Klaus said in disbelief.

" Eh? Yuno why would you want to? " Mimosa asked.

"I want to see the difference in skill between us. " Yuno said honestly as he brought out his grimoire.

" Haahahahah... " Mark laughed.

" That's interesting. You have a four-leaf grimoire. This should be fun. " Mark said as he took a step forward.
