Chapter 42

" Yeah no. " Rachael says as she pulls on Marks ear.

" Owowowow... Why did you do that?!! " Mark asked as he rubbed his ear.

" First off I haven't had a fight in a long time. Second you owe me since I did your paperwork. Now go sit down because I'm going to go fight. " Rachael said.

" But.. " Mark started but soon shut up as soon as Rachael glared at him.

Mark quickly got Vietnam flashbacks to all the times he suffered once Rachael gave that glare and wisely stepped back, hiding behind Mars.

Rachael smirked before turning back to Yuno.

" Alright then. The match will start once this rock reaches the ground. " Rachael said as she grabbed a rock and flicked it into the air.

Yuno prepped his magic as the rock began to fall.

* thud *

* whoosh * x6

Right after Ethel rock fell, Yuno immediately whipped his hands in rapid succession.

Wind blades appeared as they rushed towards Rachael. Rachael saw the wind blades coming and easily side stepped each them as she walked forward.

Yuno eyes widened in surprise before regaining focus. He quickly created wind spears next to him and fired them at Rachael.

* whoosh *

They flew at fast speeds at Rachael who merely stood there and waited.

' She isn't trying to dodge! ' Yuno thought as he watched his attack reach her.

Standing still, Rachael had a calm smile on her face as a waterwall appeared in front of her.

* bam *

* bam *

* bam *

The spears hit the waterwall and disappeared right after. Yunos eyes widened in surprise as he noticed that his attack did absolutely no damage to the waterwall.

" The waterwall didn't take any damage!! " Klaus said in awe.

Mimosa stood in awe at the magic displayed. She knew that Rachael was a very skilled mage. Mereoleona Vermillion, the sister of Fuegoleon Vermillion, was one of the strongest mages in the clover kingdom and could easily beat most of the captains, like her borther.

The waterwall disappeared as Rachael stood in front of Yuno.

" So is this all you can do? If it is I'm pretty disappointed. " Rachael said.

Yuno grit his teeth as he flew into the air. Rachael stood on the ground as she waited for him to finish his attack.

" She's doing it again. " Fana said with a sigh and a smile.

" Yep. She's just treating this as a training match. " Mark said as he remembered all the times Rachael just toyed with the newer memebers of the squad.

Yuno created wind falcons next to him and as he made them rush towards Rachael.

Rachael looked at them as they approached her and quickly jumped towards them. She quickly reached them and dodged there attacks and flew towards Yuno.

Yunos eyes widened as she watched her get closer towards him. Acting quickly he stretched his arm out towards her and created a large wind tornado.

The tornado flew towards Rachael. Rachael flew towards it before smirking and disappearing from view.

She suddenly reappeared in front of Yuno with her arm stretched out. Her palm was in front of Yunos face as his eyes widened.

* boom *

Rachael created a stream of water which blasted Yuno straight into the water below, causing a massive amount of water to be shot into the air.

Klaus and Mimosa stood on the sidelines in fear and awe. One moment they saw Rachael about to get hit by Yunos attack, the next they see Yuno crashing into the lake.

Yuno was revealed soon enough as he floated above the water surface. He was panting as he looked at Rachael with wide eyes.

" Hmm you managed to stop that. Impressive. But that's only for defence. Now it onto the next topic. Your ability to DODGE. " Rachael said.

Immediately afterward bunch of waterballs were created next to her as she smirked. Yuno felt fear from that smirk as quickly activated his magic.

* boom *

He started pushing his magic yo the limit as dodged multiple attacks that flew toward him.

* boom *

* boom *

* boom * * boom *

* boom * boom * * boom *

Yuno kept dodging the waterballs that flew at him at the same speed as a bullet.

' What can I do? How can get out this mess?! 'Yuno thought as he avoided another attack.

However as he was thinking Rachael suddenly stopped firing as Yuno stared at her. He breathing heavily and had a few bruises on his body when he slammed into the water.

" Not bad. Your dodging skills are pretty good. But what can you do if you can't dodge an attack? " Rachael questioned as she brought up her fingers.

Yuno looked at her in confusion before he sensed the danger around him. He saw many waterballs surrounding him in the air. His eyes widened as he looked at Rachael who had a smirk on her face.

* snap *

As Rachael snapped her fingers the waterballs rocketed towards Yuno. Yuno stared at the incoming waterballs as if they were becoming in slow motion.

Yuno was scared. He couldn't move as the waterballs approached him.

However he immediately got an image of Asta appearing in his mind.

His grimore started flipping at a rapid pace before landing on a page. The page showed his wind wall spell.

Activating his magic, the wind around Yuno picked up in speed as it covered Yuno. The wind become dense as it took the form of a spherical form.

* boom *

Rachaels attack recahe she wind sphere and slammed against it. Rachael stared in awe as her attack did nothing to the wind sphere as it came out unscathed.

The sphere disappeared as Yuno appeared and looked at Rachael. His breathing was heavy as he didn't expect yo survive that attack.

Rachael looked at him as she got ready to fight but..

" I surrender. " Yuno said. Rachael looked at him and smiled as nodded.

Yuno stopped as he flew back down to the ground and landed on his feet. Rachael soon followed.

* thud *

Yuno fell forward and hit the ground as he layed there. He was exhausted.

" Now that was impressive. " Rachael said as she looked at Yuno with a smile. Yuno felt proud as he heard her praise.

She was strong. Stronger than everyone he had faced till now and she wasn't even the king of the Diamond kingdom.

" I still have a long way to go." Yuno said.

" Well then I wish you the best of luck. " Rachael said as she knelt down beside Yuno and healed him.

" That was impressive. " Mimosa said in awe as she saw Yuno block that attack.

Klaus stayed silent as he looked at Yuno. In just a few weeks he improved so much. Then he manages to block that incredibly powerful spell.

' If it was me, I would have died. ' Klaus thought.

" That was so cool!! " Luck exclaimed a she watched the fight.

" I want to fight him next. " Luck muttered.

" He actually managed to stop that attack.Even though she wa holding back that's really impressive. " Mars stated.

" Yep. I can't wait to see what he becomes in the future. I'll ask him for a fight then. " Mark said a she smiled.

" Hey Luck wheres your teammates? " Fana asked.

" Oh I left them at the entrance. They should be here soon. " Luck said.

" Now kidding. " Fana said as she sensed a magic signature coming closer.

" Yuno!!! "

Her eyes widened as she saw a boy jump and head towards Rachael who finished healing Yuno.

He pulled out a rusty sword and swung it at Rachael. Fana's eyes widened, along with Mars, Mark and Rachael.

Rachael snapped out of her surprise as Astas sword coming closer to her. Acting quickly she disappeared and reappeared beside Fana.

* boom *

A crater formed as the boys sword slammed into the ground.

They stared at the boy who lifted his sword off the ground and stared at them. He held the sword towards them as they looked at the black bulls uniform he wore.

" Are you okay Yuno? "
