Chapter 6: Nobility
The topic about pets continued and the more they talked about it, the more horrifying it turned.
So I tried to change the subject and thought about asking Dad about The Auction house later
"Lady Heaven, I have been bothered about this ever since I read the invitation. Heaven, your name is so beautiful, What does it mean?" I asked and thankfully the pet story stopped
"Oh, I don't know, This name is actually common in our family, every 1st born daughter of the main family is named Heaven. I am Heaven Farhan the 25th" She said pleasantly
I just nodded my head and continued eating, the other ladies complimented her name and talked more about it but after that I did not enter the conversation again.

The tea party ended and I'm now in the castle, on my way to my Father's study room.
outside the door are four knights standing
"I want to see Father" I said while looking at them
they looked at me and simultaneously dropped to their knees and bowed
"Princess Anya, please wait for a moment, I will inform his majesty" one of them said
he stood up and went inside the office after knocking for 2 times, then he opened the door wide and told me to enter
I walked inside and saw Daddy with mountains of paper on each side of his desk
I felt a little bad for not being of help but the curiosity about the auction house the ladies were talking about earlier got the best of me
"Dad, I heard about the auction house" I said without even greeting him
he stopped writing and looked at me
"And?" He asked
"What do you mean and? Dad living beings are being sold! its slavery!" I said hysterically
Dad was a little taken aback and then I realized that I have the appearance of a six years old
then I heard him sigh and the chair he was sitting in was dragged back
he stood up and walked towards me, and when he reached me, he extended his hand and picked me up
then he walked to the nearest sofa and we sat there
he looks like he's constipated of something while looking at me
"You are too young to understand things Anya, but know this, I am trying to put an end to the Auction House. It's just that most nobles are against it." He said with a complicated look
with those words, I understood what was happening.
"I will put an end to the Auction House Dad!" I said firmly
Dad chuckled a little
"We will put an end to it, but first, you need to grow up and help Daddy, okay?" He said while patting my head
I nodded my head and smiled at him.
I guess they were right, when you have everything you want and need, you start wanting to help others.
or maybe due to my earth ethics I still find it immoral to just play with another intelligent being's life.
or maybe, I'm just finding the reason, why I was sent in this unknown world.

Time went by so fast, I am now 16 years old, and today is my final exam in the weapon that I chose
"Anya do not fight something bigger than you" Mom said while straightening my chain mail and tying the sides of the leather armor Brother Cal bought for me
"If possible do not fight small animals or creatures too, they are agile! so avoid them" Father said while holding the helmet Brother Tristan gave me.
"Mom and Dad are right, just avoid them" Brother Tristan who is no help to me at all interjected
"Don't worry! I will be beside Anya so I will not let even an insect come near her" Brother Tris said while slashing his sword
I can't help but roll my eyes at their words
"How am I supposed to pass the test if I do not hunt?" I asked them
"hmm, You're right, lets talk to your master and cancel this dangerous thing once and for all" Dad said and placed my helmet down to the table beside me and walked towards the door of the tent
"DAD!" I said loudly
"Kidding, I'm kidding. I know how long you've looked forward to this" Dad said and sat beside brother Tris
I just sighed and took the helmet he placed on the table near me
"Please don't do any tricks to make my exam easier or anything like that, specially you brother Cal!" I said while glaring at Brother Calvin who also sat with Dad and Brother Tris
"I'll try not to" he said while grinning like an idiot
"Brother! if you ever do something like that I will never ever forgive you" I said and glared to him more
he just laughed it off
"Anyway, do not be too injured okay? Do not be ashamed or afraid to ask for help" Mom said while holding my face between her palms making it look squished
I just nodded my head
"Good" she said and let go of my face
"Sigh I can't believe She's this big now" Dad said while looking at me
"Me either, She used to be this small" Mom said and gestured my body size using her hands
"I think Anya grew backwards" Brother Tris suddenly said, so all of us looked at him
"You know it too right? Anya was called a genius and a Prodigy when she was a child due to her fast learning ability, and her adult like demeanor. But look at her now, pouting like a baby" Brother Tris said while pointing at me
"Hey!" I said and pouted more
"HAHAHA I like it better, at least I know Anya will not be stolen by some arrogant man yet" Dad said while laughing heartily
"Hey!" I said
but instead of stopping, all of them just laughed at me like their point had just been proven.
we are now at the eastern part of the empire, the eastern border which is a vast forest. My Master told me to hunt 5 different kinds of monster or animals to pass the test, and she also said that if ever I fail, I will be in hell training for one month, that's why I need to pass!!
my Master is Mother's Sister Evangeline Mary Ruth who is by the way also a magician. She is a 'Magic Swordsman' who has a specialize weapon. She is just like mom, a noble, but then she gave up her title and became an adventurer and later on a knight.
In the noble society, woman are useless, they are used as tools to build connections, Master Eva do not like being used, so she rebelled, she ran away when Mom got engaged to Dad knowing that she will be the next one to be engaged to someone. Mom and Dad, unlike the other arranged marriages, are in love with each other, Mom even told me that the reason why she got engaged to Dad is because Brother Tristan is already inside her womb. Hah, Mom is also a rebel!
Anyway, Master said that she will marry someone she truly loves just like mom and ran away but instead of a man, Master came back from her journey around the world with a specialize sword and as an adventurer.
She did not marry and was immersed to swordsmanship, hence when Dad became emperor Master was promoted from being a royal guard to Mom's personal guard. She was the very first female knight! After entering the royal guards a lot of females with exceptional talents also entered the royal guard, saying they want to follow Master's footsteps.
Anyway long story short, Master is a living legend in the empire, and a lot of people look up to her, including me. The moment I heard about her from mom I knew right away that I want to be like her.
"Anya, Do not be nervous, You have talent and potential, Show me the fruit of your training, and my teachings." Master told me while holding my shoulder firmly
I nodded my head and looked at her with determination before entering the dense forest of the east with brother Calvin following behind me.
