chapter 10: Becoming the Sin Of Wrath
Jonathan's P.O.V
I woke up in the infirmary again with no memories of what happened last night. I knocked out after using all my stamina to defeat Sirius and was healing my crew until I passed out. I then looked to the left and saw Raph and my dad sleeping beside me so I then hit both of their heads
"OW!" they shouted in unison
"You two should sleep somewhere that's not near my body part." I told them
"We were worried about you so we slept here." He told me
"Look ju-" I was cut off but Crusch coming in my room
"My lord, we have great news." she said while bowing down
"What is it?" I asked
"It looks like the enemies are afraid of you after what you did to Sirius and named you 'The real Sin Of Wrath' and the people of this town look up to you as a hero to this land and we thank you for helping us." she said
"That's it?" I asked
"And the town wants a speech." She added
"Great, I'm out of energy and I need to do a speech?!" I groaned
"Don't worry, we will organize this speech when we have dealt with this war." she told me and I sighed in relief
"Good, I don't want to relax for a bit. Is there a sauna around?" I asked
"Yes, it's right around the corner." she answered
I then got up and teleported there with a towel covering my lower body part as the top reveals abs and muscles.
"No wonder women stare at me." I thought out loud as I entered the water.
"I beg to differ." A voice said
I looked at the voice's direction and it was Subaru
"Oh hey." I said
"Hey." he spoke back
"Bad day?" I asked
"Nope, just here for relaxation." He said and I figured he was lying.
"You know you can tell me right?" I asked him
"I know but you won't believe me." he stated
"You'll go back in time if you die?" I asked and he looks at me in shock
"You knew?" he asked me
"Yeah, time never affects me." I told him
"I thought that I was the only one affected." he said to himself
"You know, I'm also the only one who knows that you're not from here." I told him
I also know that you aren't from here too." He said
"How did you notice?" I dropped the act.
"Since you know these lands and you summon that army from Tanya the evil." he told me
"You know your animes." I told him
"Yeah, looks like you too." he said
"You know, I'm not an ordinary guy." I told him
"What?" he asked in confusion
"Alucard's my dad." I told him
"How? He isn't even real." he said
"My mom saw him lying on the floor, knocked out. So she saved him. And then as soon as he woke up to get his wounds cleaned, He knew that he fell in love with her." I told him
"So your skin must be white then?" he asked
"Nope, it was the same human colour and I was immune to sunlight and UV rays." I said
"Wow, must be cool." He said to me
"I didn't even know I had powers till now. Maybe if I come back to the real world, I might check it out." I told him.
"What's it like? In the real world, I mean." he asked
"It feels the same, always shitty but I'm rich. Could've had a condo but I always remind myself that living the life of the rich is like being an asshole." I told him
"But why would you say that?" he asked
"I don't know, seen a lot of movies I guess." I said
"I don't ever want to go back there." he stated
"Yeah I know, life here's like heaven except for all the stuff that's been happening." I chuckled
"But I don't blame you." I told him and he looked at me weird
"I don't blame you for staying here. Life out there sucks like hell, believe me. I've been at your spot before." I told him
"How do you cope?" he asked
"What?' I asked in confusion
"How do you burn it all away? The pain, the torture." he asked again
"You don't." I sighed
"Then how?" He asked again
"By having a shoulder to cry on." I told him
"By telling someone that you trust about your problems and everything that's happened to you and they will try and comfort you in many ways believe me I've tried and it works." I told him
"But who?" He asked
"Maybe that Rem girl." I answered him
"Yeah, maybe she'll be the one to hear my problems." He said to himself
I then got out of the sauna and left.
