chapter 11: Dracula and toast

Jonathan's P.O.V

It was time to meet Grandpa himself as I got ready to meet Gabriel Belmont in the flesh. I then walked to the door but not before stopping myself to look at the mirror and examined my avatar.

"Holy hell, I look sexier than myself!" I exclaimed as I checked myself out

A knock came to my door and stopped posing like an idiot.

"Can I come in?" A maid asked

"Yes, you may enter." I said in my fake tone

She enters shivering by my voice.

"The Count.... has... arrived." She said in a scared voice and gives me a drink and ran.

'Jeez, are they really that really afraid of me?' I thought as I put on my boots and walked outside

As I walked through the village, the whole village looked at me with fear like I'm the one to be feared. I sighed and shouted

"You mustn't be afraid of me." I told them

"I know that I am the sin of wrath but I am on your side and your side only." I assured them

They then sighed and moved along.

"Looks like you are a better man." a familiar british voice said.

I looked behind me and it was Gabriel Belmont himself.

"My Grandson!" He said and hugged me.

"It has been too long." He said

"Yeah, Gramps. Too long." I sighed and hugged him back

"What is Gramps?" he asked me

"Short for Grandpa." I answered

"Ahh, a nice name." He then hangs his arms around me

"So I've heard you got my little present?" he asked

"Yep, I did." I told him

"Good, good now let's have our little discussion at the war room." he said as he teleported us to the war room.

"I knew we had teleportation!!" I said

The generals then seathes their swords and pointed it at gramps

"Release Lord Naz-" The general was cut-off by me saying it's fine as I put his arms away.

"Look, let's just see what happened and forget this." I told them as we went on with the plan

"The Mongols invaded Tsushima and have already docked to lands there. The Samurai tried to hold them off at Komoda Beach but failed and there were only two survivors only. The leader of the Shimura clan, Lord Shimura and the Sakai clan, Lord Sakai." He told me

"So the only surviving clans still thriving after what the Mongols did to them? How pitiful." My gramps said 'I swear he looks cool'

"They took back Castle Kaneda and are advancing to Yarikawa but can't because the Mongols are too powerful so they need our help, should we help Tsushima, my lord?" He asked

"Maybe, just get the army ready and mortars ready too." I ordered and left

"Yes sir." He said as he walked away

"What's happening here?" I asked

"Well, we've been able to push a little bit of force at Culesko and now owns 50% of the island." he said

"Good, make sure those soldiers get warmth." I ordered the other general

"Yes, my lord!" He said and walked away

"So you get to act like a lieutenant?" he asked in a mocking tone

"Yep, they appointed me as their captain so I gave orders." I told him

"What about me?" He asked

"You know the camp where they're held at?" I asked

"Yes, I know the place." He answered

I then walked to the door and before I left I told him

"Rip and Tear until it is done." I said and left

I walked down the hallway and saw that some of the knights we're having a blast so I decided to walk in. As soon as I walked in and they saw me, they immediately hide their celebration

'Oh come on!' I groaned in my mind

"It's fine, continue." I told them as I sit with them

"Sorry but we shouldn't party near you, my-" I then cut her off

"It is fine, knight. Sit down and have a party!" I said as I gulped down a beer

Then the party started as we all started dancing and partying because of our latest victory. The other soon joined and we partied like there was no tomorrow and to be honest? I kinda glad that I chose to party because I would be a party pooper. We drank, we played games, we we're having so much fun till we got drunk except for me. I had to carry Raphtalia bridal style to her room and Filo was already in her room sleeping.

"Why won't you love me, John?" she mumbled in her sleep

"Why can't I come with you to the other world?" she mumbled again

This makes me sad too. I grew fond of her even if she was Naofumi's lover and I couldn't even look at her without blushing. I then arrived at her room and placed her on the bed. I was about to leave before Raphtalia grabbed my hand tightly

"Please don't leave me all alone." she cried in her sleep

Aw crap not this! Anything but this! I couldn't keep my cool and just sleep beside her with her hand still attached to mine.
