He/Heroine and My Villainess

(Do what it takes)

-DUKE RESIDENCE-

*CATHLEN CHAMBER*

"Good morning, miss," Angel greet Cathlen, but she could not hear her because Cathlen was very busy thinking of a way on how to find the lamp inside the forest.

"Miss?" Angela calls again, but this time she went over to her and holds her left shoulder and she snaps back.

"Yes? Oh, Angela."

"Miss,"

"Yes? What is it?" Cathlen asks, surprised upon seeing Angela already inside her room.

"You've been spacing out, is everything all right?" Angela asks, worried.

"Uh, yes. Nothing is wrong," Cathlen answer,

"Okay," Angela responds but still suspects something wrong.

"Why are you here?" Cathlen ask,

"Oh, the duchess asks me to give this to you," Angela answer and showed to her a brown box with a white envelope that has a royal seal on it.

"Thank you," She takes it and reads what's inside the envelope.

"What is it, miss? Is it from the crown prince?" Angela asks, excited.

"Yes, it is." Cathlen answer, but no reaction.

"What did the crown prince say?"

"Nothing special," Cathlen, reply not showing interest in the letter that the crown prince sent for her.

"Oh, the crown prince must be so worried about what happened to you. Miss," Angela mention, then Cathlen recalled the problem again.

'Right, the lamp.'

"Angela,"

"Yes, miss?"

"I have something for you to do," Cathlen mention,

"What is it, miss?"

"I want you to go downtown later this afternoon,"

"For, what miss?"

"I want to find the lamp inside the forest,"

"What? So you want me to go downtown later this afternoon so I can search for it inside the forest, miss? But the forest is gigantic. I can't find it alone," Angela whine,

"Angela, don't be an idiot. You will not search for the lamp inside the forest,"

"Oh, then…"

"I want you to go downtown with me later this afternoon to find some people. Who are willing, to get paid with an enormous amount of money to search for my lamp,"

"Oh, but is, very dangerous, miss. What if you face many scoundrels and bandits on the way?" Angela asks, concerned.

"Oh, you don't have to worry about that," Cathlen responds, smirking.

Those scoundrels can't harm us, because I got it under control, they're most likely be dead if they tried to touch us.

"What?" Angela reply, lost.

"You don't have to worry, Angela. I will take care of it,"

'Because I'm alda the black belt on martial arts,'

Back then, my mother is a doctor and, my father is a military general, I have a very influential family, and because of it, they were too busy to take care of me. So when I turn 6, I took an interest in martial arts, and at 9, I joined our school martial arts club.

Then at 15, I joined the sports competition, and I win every single time till I get into the international sports tournament of martial arts. Many opportunities come at me, but before I could grab into them, I died.

'Ahh… I don't want to think about it anymore. I'm here now, I'm dead and, this is my reality now.'

"How?"

"You'll see,"

"Miss," Angela call,

"Yes?"

"May I ask you a question?"

"Yes, go ahead,"

"Why don't you tell the duke, you lost your gift from him so he can help you. That is the safer way to do it too."

"You have a point, but that gift was so rare to find and very irreplaceable. My father works hard day and night so he can gift me the rare object." Cathlen continue explaining,

"And I promise to him I won't lose the gift that he works hard to find, and if he finds out that I lose it, what do you think will happen. Angela," Cathlen ask,

"Oh…"

"Yes, he will be very disappointed by me and never trust me again."

'Lie, HAHAHA. All of it was a lie. I don't want to involve Cathlen parents in this. For once I found the lamp, I will then leave this mansion, without you all-knowing.'

"And live as a man with my best friend," Cathlen mumble to herself,

"Miss?"

"Yes?"

"Did you say something? Can you repeat it? I couldn't hear it," Angela mention,

"Oh, is nothing," Cathlen smile,

"Okay,"

"My parents must not know about this, okay?" Cathlen mention,

"Yes, miss," Angela answer,

"Good,"

'Wait for me, Yerre. I'm coming.'
