HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(SILENT REDEEMER)

-MARQUIS RESIDENCE-

"Madam, my lord. Sir Aloit and Miss Vendia has arrived," Sir Sebi mention inside the guest room, then Vendia's parents run downstairs to greet them,

"Aloit, your both home," Madam Rose went over to them, relief upon seeing them safe.

"What happened? Why are you carrying Vendia?" Lord Marthen asks, worried.

"Ah, she fell asleep because we tour the town today on foot," Sir Aloit lie to them,

"Oh, she must be so tired then," Madam Rose respond,

"Yes, she is," Sir Aloit speaks,

"Give Vendia to me, I will tuck her into her room," Lord Marthen demand, and Sir Aloit gives Vendia to him. Lord Marthen then carried Vendia bridal style, and they went to her chamber.

*Vendia Chamber*

"Let us leave her, sleep in peace," Madam Rose, demand and they then leave the room in quiet.

*Guest room*

"Thank you for keeping safe Vendia today," Lord Marthen said,

"No hassle," Sir Aloit respond.

"Thank you," Madam Rose, thank him, and Sir Aloit nods then smiles.

"Okay, I must get home now is getting late. I will come back here early tomorrow," Sir Aloit mention,

"Okay, you take care going back home," Lord Marthen reply,

"You do not need to worry," Sir Aloit respond,

"Okay, go now. Your wife must have felt perturbed. Thank you again," Madam Rose said, and Sir Aloit then leaves them be inside the guest room.

"This is for the best," Sir Aloit mention as he walks into a hallway, deep sighing,

'Sometimes being silent is the best option to keep everyone away from misery and live a peaceful life,' Sir Aloit thoughts as he continues walking through a dark hallway with only light of the moon that can give a clear vision of a person.

The next morning Vendia wake up refresh and well-rest.

-Dining room-

'This is strange. Vendia parent seems not aware of what happened to their daughter the other day. Wait,' I thought,

"Mother," I called. We are now eating our breakfast in silence.

"Yes? What is it, sweetheart," Mother answer,

"The other day, does Sir Aloit tell you both what happened?" I ask, nervous.

"Yes, he said you were so tired because you both tour the town on foot that you sleep on the way back home the other day," Father explains.

'What? That is not what happened the other day,' I thought,

"Is that all?" I ask, confuse.

"Yes," Mother answer,

"Why, is there another reason?" Father looks at me with suspicion.

"Ah, no, there isn't. That's all,"

'Why, Sir Aloit lie to them?' I wonder, curious and bothered.

"What is it, sweetheart?" Mother calls out to me.

"Hm?" I respond, clueless.

"Are you okay?" She asks with a concerned face.

"Why you ask mother? I'm fine," I answer, otherwise.

"Are you sure? Your face shows an unpleasant feeling," Mother mentions, as I sweat and gulp from nervousness.

"I'm fine, mother, don't worry," I respond and smile as I try to brush away my nervousness.

"Dear, you overstate your thoughts again," Father inserted at our conversation.

"I'm sorry, I can't help it. As a mother, I only want happiness for my child," Mother replies,

"Mother, I'm fine," I assure her, and Mother nod, convince.

"By the way, there will be a festival later tonight in the town," Father mention, and I got surprised.

"For real?" I stand up to my chair because of excitement.

"Uh... I'm sorry. Ahem!" I apologies and sat back down in my chair, embarrassed.

"HAHAHA, it seems like our daughter love to go to the festival tonight," Mother laugh at my reaction.

"Uh, Je Je Je," I felt shy and fidget.

"Yes, there will be a festival today," Father responded,

"What kind of festival," I ask,

"An autumn festival," Mother replies.

"Autumn?"

"Yes, they will celebrate the festival to welcome the new season," Father explains.

"Oh," I understand.

'Come to think of it. In the story, the autumn season is where Vendia and Prince Adam first meet,' I thought when a sudden headache distracts me from my thoughts.

"Ah!" I hiss in pain,

"Sweetheart, are you okay? Honey," Mother asks, worried upon seeing me in pain. Mother rush over to me with father.

"Ah! I don-ah! It hurts," I reply as I tried to fight the pain.

'What is going on? Ah! It hurts! My head,'

"Vendia, look at father, Vendia?"

"F-father, it hurts, ah! Haaa, ah!" I pant and grip into my head as I felt like it's going to explode.

"Honey, what's going on!" I hear my mother's anxious voice, but I can't reply because of the pain I've felt in my head.

"Mo-ah! AH!" I shout as I can't tolerate the pain any longer, and I lose consciousness.

"Vendia!"

To be continued.
