"Yes?" Prince Adam reply, he is having his evening tea while thinking of a solution to his problem.

"Your highness, a letter from the duke's residence has arrived just now," The servant responds outside the room.

"Come in," Prince Adam permit,

"Here it is, your highness," The butler gives the letter over to him.

"Is this letter for me?" He asks,

"Yes, your highness. The letter is from Lady Cathlen," The butler answer, then Prince Adam nod.

"Okay, you can leave now. Thank you for delivering it to me," Prince Adam mentions, and the butler bow then leaves his room.

Letter

Dear Prince Adam,

I apologize for what I have done, and yes, I accept your invitation lets meet at the art-store tonight before going to the festival. I see you later.

Cathlen

Prince Adam felt peace upon receiving Cathlen's reply to his letter. Then he went on fixing himself to leave the castle and meet Cathlen for the festival.

*ART STORE*

"Good evening, welco-Cathlen? Why are you here? Hows your parents doing?" Sir Albert greets Cathlen, but Cathlen looks at him like they meet for the first time.

'Does this guy know Cathlen before?' She wonders,

"What are you doing? Come hug your husband, cousin," Sir Albert mention, and Cathlen understands. She then smiles at him as she went over to him and hug him.

"Uh, yes. Long time no see," Cathlen replied, feeling awkward.

"My god, you become more beautiful as years pass," Sir Albert mention as he let go of her,

"Uh, yes. Thank you," Cathlen reply,

'This is awkward. I didn't know the Prince has a cousin,' She thought, smiling at him.

"Do you need anything?" Sir Albert mention,

"Oh, yes. Do you have a map to the forest," Cathlen replied,

"Yes, I do,"

"Perfect, can I buy five pieces of it?"

"Five? Wait. May I ask why you want to buy the map to the forest?" Sir Albert asks, curious.

'This nosy person,' Cathlen thought, felt annoyed towards Sir Albert.

"Uh, that is because I want to know the way to the forest so that I won't get lost," She answer,

"Oh, okay. One sec I will get it for you. Go sit to the waiting area for a while is over there," Sir Albert pointed at the left side of his store.

"Okay, thank you,"

Cathlen waits for ten minutes. Then Sir Albert comes back with the stuff she needs.

"Here it is," Sir Albert done wrapping the map with a protective wrap so it won't get wet.

"Thank you. I will go now," Cathlen responds as she takes the stuff she bought from Sir Albert's store.

"Your welcome, you take care on the way back home," Sir Albert mention,

"I will," She replies, then leave his store.

"Cathlen!" Prince Adam shouts at her outside the store, wearing a red cloak as he smiles with relief.

'Ah... right, the idiot. I almost forgot about him. I need to thank him for giving me a chance to buy this map today,' She thought,

"Your here," She replies with a forced smile.

"Of course, what are those?" He asks, curious.

'His words sound familiar,' She thought,

"Ah, I bought a map into your cousin store," She responds,

"Oh, so what do you want for us to do today?" Prince Adam asks, excited.

'I want to go home,' She replies inside her thought,

"Anything you want," She responds,

'Except touching, kissing, and hugging,' She thought,

"Okay, let us go over there," Prince Adam pointed to the funfair,

"Okay, let's go," Cathlen reply, then she walks past him.

"Wait, don't walk too fast," Prince Adam demand, but Cathlen didn't listen and continue to walk at a pace.

"Hurry, I can't wait to try some games at the funfair," She responds, smirking.

'Let's get you tired fast so I can then get back home,' She thought without looking in front of her as she then bumps into someone with a massive impact that made the person fall to the ground, but she grabs ahold of the person before it could fall to the ground.

"Gotch-fuck," She curses upon losing her balance to stand up, and they both fall to the ground with her hugging the person she bumps into topping her.

"I'm sorry, are you oka-" She couldn't finish her sentence as she looks at the person in front of her.

"Vendia?" She utter surprised,

'Cathlen?' Vendia thought, also surprised, and without warning, Cathlen's right arm loses a sudden pressure because of her body weight, and her body got drawn more close to Vendia.

"Ah, I'm SOR-" She stops talking upon seeing Vendia's face so close to her, and their lips are 1 point dot away. Her heartbeat got fast as she felt a familiar sensation towards Vendia. She looks at Vendia with a wondering gaze as they lock eyes, and Venida looks at her full of worried.

"You," She utters, as small tears skip to her eyes,

'Uh, tears. Wh-what is going on? Why am I crying?' Cathlen wonders as she continues looking at Vendia's eyes, like the world around them stops for a while.

"A-are you okay?" Vendia asks, concern as she uses her right hand to caress Cathlen's face to wipe the tears away.

"This..." Cathlen wonders as she felt a familiar touch through Vendia's cares, then realizes something.

'Don't tell me, ah! Ack! My heart feels so heavy I can't breathe well,' Cathlen thought, as she grips into Vendia's right hand with a hurt expression engraved on her face as tears continue flowing through her. Then Vendia flinches through her sudden touch.

"Yo-you," She pants and looks at Vendia with a familiar gaze as she grips into her right hand more using her left hand.
