"What's wrong? Are you okay?" Sir Aloit ask, beside her carriage window,

"Everything is fine. I want us to stop at the art store to buy some art material," Vendia answer,

"For what, Miss?" Mary asks, wondering. She smiles at her.

"Because I want to paint the place where going for remembrance," She replies,

"Okay, if that is the case, let me escort you," Sir Aloit propose,

"No, Sir Aloit, I will go alone," Vendia respond,

"Are you sure?" Sir Aloit asks, worried.

"Yes, I also want to talk to Sir Albert alone," She mention smiling at him, then Sir Aloit nod understand.

"Okay, I understand. We wait here for you outside, don't belong, all right?" Sir Aloit reply,

"Yes," She answer, then went out to the carriage to go inside the art store.

CLANG

The art store door makes a sound as she enters, announcing her arrival inside.

"Welcome, how may I help yo-Vendia?" Sir Albert got shocked,

"Long time no see, Sir Albert, how are you?" She replies, smiling at him. He went over to her in pace then hug her tight.

"I'm glad to see you here again," He mentions as Vendia also hugs him back.

"Me too, Sir Albert," She replies,

"Thank you for coming here again even though I know that you already know what I did to you," Sir Albert mention, and Vendia break the hug.

"How can't I? You are my friend, right?" She responds, smiling at him. Then Sir Albert felt a warmth and comfort upon hearing Vendia's words. He hugs her again.

"Of course, and in the future, if you want something, you can always call me for help, okay?" He mentions, and Venida giggled.

"That means I can disturb you whatever I want?" Vendia responds with a laugh, and Sir Albert felt happy upon hearing Vendia laugh.

"Yes, you can. I will never get angry, I promise," Sir Albert responds as a memory flashback through him.

"When I saw her, she was pale like snow, and once I check on her, she was no longer breathing. And so I told them she is no longer breathing," Mr. Jao explains,

"You mean..." Prince Adam responds,

"Yes, she is already dead… but Madam Rose didn't believe it, she insists. So Lord Marthen ask me for a favor," Mr. Jao explains. After three minutes, Sir Albert then got back to his senses then he hugs Vendia tighter.

"S-sir Albert?" Vendia call,

"Yes?" Sir Albert respond,

"I ca-can't breathe," She mentions, then Sir Abert let go of her,

"I am sorry," Sir Albert apologize,

"Is okay. Are you in pain?" Vendia asks upon seeing Sir Albert's hurt expression.

"What?" Sir Albert asks, unaware of his expression.

"Your expression showed discomfort," She replies,

"O-oh, hahaha, sorry. I only felt tired because I didn't sleep well, that's all," Sir Albert excuses, but Vendia felt something off.

"Are you sure?" She asks,

"Yes, are you going to buy something today?" Sir Albert, changing the topic, and Vendia sense something wrong, but she brushes it off because she doesn't want to pressure Sir Albert anymore.

"Uh-yes, I need some paintbrush, paint, and canvas size 1/2," Vendia answer, smiling.

"Okay, how many brushes and canvas?" Sir Albert ask,

"One set of paintbrush, then five 1/2 size of the canvas," She answers,

"Okay, what colors do you want for your paint?"

"Hmm... the colors of the rainbow,"

"All of it?"

"Yes, all of it,"

"Okay, you can wait to the waiting area while I get the things you want," Sir Albert mention, and Vendia nod smiling, then went over to the waiting area.

And while Vendia waits in the waiting area, she argues whether to ask Sir Albert about his behavior earlier or only put a blind on it.

"I want to ask Sir Albert why his being like that a minute ago, but I can't because I felt is confidential," She wonders, concerned, towards Sir Albert.

'But I am worried,' She thought,

"Vendia, here it is," Sir Albert done finding the things she wants to buy.

"Okay," Vendia and went over to the counter as Sir Albert puts her things into the paper bag one by one with a sealed cover for safety.

"Here it is. Why you like art so much?" Sir Albert ask,

"Because it expresses my genuine feelings, and it comforts me all the time," She replies, smiling.

"You should do it too, Sir Albert, then you can show it to me. I will then tell you the meaning," She inserted, smiling.

"I will try," Sir Albert answer, smiling back at her.

"Vendia, what is taking you so long?" Sir Aloit call entering the art store.

"Sir Aloit?" She responds, surprised.

"Greeting to you, Sir Aloit," Sir Albert mention,

"Ah, yes, greetings to you too," Sir Aloit respond,

"Sorry, did I worry you?" Vendia ask,

"Yes, you did. I thought something happened to you again," Sir Aloit answer, not denying it.

"I'm sorry," Vendia apologize.

"It's okay, come on. Let us go now, or it will be dawn before we reach our first destination," Sir Aloit mention,

"Wait, where are you guys going?" Sir Albert asks, curious.

"Oh right, I almost forgot. I will leave the Astrod land for five days, Sir Albert. But I will be back," Vendia respond.

"What? Why? Where are you going?" He asks,

"I don't think, is necessary for her to tell you where we are going," Sir Aloit stops Venida from answering Sir Albert any further.

"Sir Aloit..." Vendia calls out to him, worried.

"I understand. I wish you a safe trip," Sir Albert responds, smiling at Vendia. Understand what Sir Aloit means.

"I'm sorry, Sir Albert," Vendia apologize with a sad expression.

"Don't worry, I am fine. I understand why Sir Aloit won't tell me where you are going. So smile now, okay?" Sir Albert answer and Vendia nod then smile back at him.

"Vendia, let's go, let me carry those things you bought," Sir Aloit ask,

"Uh-yes, here you go, Sir Aloit, thank you," She answers,

"Don't thank me all the time. I do it because I want to, understand?" Sir Aloit mention,

"Okay, I understand," She replies, giggling, then waves Sir Albert a goodbye as they leave his store. Sir Albert deep sighs as he sits at his chair on the counter.

"Haaa... this is my consequence for deceiving people," He utter to himself, tired.

'I hope Adam does what I ask him to do. Be safe, Vendia, my friend,' Sir Albert thought.

To be continued.
