Lessons On How To Act Like Adam Darkwaters, The Girl Version Of Him

Chapter 36

It took hours upon hours to learn how to act like Adam, how to walk like him, how to talk like him, even how to write like him, I even had to memorize his schedule, ugh, it was exhausting. I had to stop slouching so much and make my voice a little lighter, airier and a little rougher at the same time, to even sound remotely like him. To make my writing like his I had to slant mine a little and write neater, ugh.

By the time I could even get the way Adam acted right, it was almost 2 in the morning.

I sighed, "Adam, shouldn't you also be trying to act like me?"

Adam grinned, "All I have to do is wear regular clothes, make my voice go back to normal, and not wear my wig, and change my personality, that isn't that hard to do. To match your personality, I just have to act like I did while I was pretending I wasn't gay a few years ago, easy stuff." He proceeded to mimic me, he acted and talked so much like me it was a little scary.

I gaped at him, "Dude, how? You sound exactly like me. Anyway, can we go to sleep now? It's getting late. We should sleep."

Adam smiled, "I am an amazing actor, that's how." He sighed, worriedly, "Are you sure this is a good idea? What if you still can't act like me?"

I shrugged, "We'll see, for now, let's just go to sleep. I'm tired."

Adam nodded, "I call the bathroom."

Damn it, he takes so long in there, sigh, "Ugh, fine. Try to hurry up, please? I need to sleep sometime tonight."

Adam rolled his eyes, "Shut up. I don't take that long."

I nodded, "Mmkay, whatever you say, Adam, now hurry up and go take your shower and brush your teeth."

Adam went to his room to grab his clothes. I went to my room and grabbed my Kindle, I read for about an hour before I heard Adam go back into his room. It was almost 3 now, sigh.

By the time I finished taking a shower and brushing my teeth, it was 3:37.

I quickly got to bed, I shut off the lights and slowly fell asleep.

I felt someone pinching my cheek, I slapped the hand away, rubbing my eyes, "What? Why are you pinching my cheek?" I grumbled put.

Adam was standing next to my bed, "Get up! You have to do your makeup. Hurry up and get to my room. I need to do your makeup and put on your wig for you."

I sighed, rolling over, what I didn't realize was that I was on the edge of my bed, and I fell onto the ground, ugh, sigh, I got up and slipped on a pair of shorts.

I walked into Adam's room, Adam pointed to the chair in front of the vanity table, he commanded me, "Sit."

I sat down and sighed, "Why do I need makeup? Isn't it just going to be sweated off after PE, or get ruined?"

Adam rolled his eyes, "I put on makeup because I feel better with it on, it is like a shield."

I furrowed my eyebrows, "Why would you need a shield?"

Adam sighed, "Because I get anxious and insecure sometimes without it on."

I raised my eyebrows, "You? Insecure? Uh, okay then." All the time I've known Adam, I've never seen him insecure or anything close to it, he has always been loud and proud.

Adam continued, he applied makeup to my face, he was done after about 45 minutes, then he went over and picked up a wig, he gently placed it onto my head, and thus, my transformation was done.

Until we had to put on the uniform. Ugh, I have forgotten how it felt like to wear girl clothes, so tight-fitting and annoying.

When we were done, we had breakfast, on the ride to school, Adam explained to me what he has been doing with his friends, and I explained to him what I have been doing, Adam was a little worried about martial arts, he told me he couldn't do anything close to what I can do, I told him not to worry and just say he was a little sick or something.

Adam went to Princeton High, and I went to Evergreen Valley High, our rightful schools.

And thus, started my day impersonating Adam, the girl version of him anyway.
