LXXVII: Like Cousin, Like Cousin; The Freeloader

With his mind somewhere else, Kzel's steps splashed dust in all direction.

Shannon glared at the Rzir after wiping dirt on his armor and face. He decided to slow down his pace and let Kzel on the lead.

The silence was interrupted by three figures standing in the distance where the road split into three. Kzel left his thoughts and raised a brow. Supposedly, only one should be waiting his arrival. Why is it that there are three figures?

Before they finally parted ways, Kzel took a glance at his back and saw Shannon pressing his nape where the sneaky Lurker had mauled him and inflicted a bleeding effect.

Seeing the warrior's condition, an idea came to Kzel. Maybe he should order Fjora to make some adjustments on the K'raw's nanotechnology. The nano-bots could be redesigned for medical purposes instead of just wiping out bacteria and virus. They might be able to cure diseases and stitch torn tissues. Imagine a body injected with medical nano-bots.
