Further east, where the road circled a swamp, Glen consecutively scratched the new burns he acquired during their quest to save the Temple of Korbe.

His new burns were caused by green flames that danced in the air and attack any living beings that came too close to its location--this flame is commonly known as the Death Flame.

Glen was unfortunate to have come across a circle where a death ritual was being held in his scouting mission around the temple's vicinity--or rather, he was careless.
