Evan's POV:
"Where are we going exactly?" Lucas questioned.
"You'll find out when we get there." I winked, resting my arm on his shoulder.
"Is it gonna take a while to walk there? My feet will ache." He whined like a child.
I chuckled at his whine and lifted him up into a princess cary. He yelped in surprise, but soon fell comfortable in my arms.
Without warning I jumped and dashed off. My vampireistic strength and speed could go way faster then I was traveling at. But I didn't want Lucas to throw up, so I kept at a steady pace.
His arms clutched tightly around my neck with no sign of letting go. His head tucked it's way into my chest and stayed there firmly. His body was so tense that I held onto him tighter, relaxing him a bit from all his nervousness.
We soon arrived at my destination quickly, even though I took the long route to avoid being seen. I gently placed him back onto his feet, allowing him to rest on me a bit to regain his stamina. Even though I was the one doing all the running. It seemed he forgot to breath for a bit from my carry.
His breathing calmed down and his grip lessened. "We're here." I whispered into his ear.
"We better be." He huffed.
"Aww, were you scared my kitty?" I teased
He just looked away, avoiding my eyes.
"Don't worry. I'll protect you from all harm!" I smiled reassuringly.
He blushed from what I could tell from this angle, And quickly changed the subject from his embarrassment.
"A movie theater? But the suns sti--" He stopped mid sentence realizing the sun had set and that I was right. I chuckled at his facial expression.
"Alright, shall we go in, all wise kitty?" I mocked, earning a small pout.
He soon followed me in and we picked a movie. It was a Romantic comedy. I figured it was better to pick something that he wouldn't jump at every moment. Even though I do love when he clings to me.
He seemed satisfied with the choice and went to purchase the tickets, whilst I secured the seats. I wanted to buy them but he stopped me saying it was his treat with an angelic smile. Like I could say no to that?
He soon came into the theater and I waved at him to notify my location. On his way down however, he bumped into a tall man. Knocking the popcorn out of the mans hands and spilling it on the floor.
I was gonna jump up and protect him but he had already diffused the situation and apologized, bowing his head. I hated the sight of my loved one blowing his head to another. I despised that man instantly.
The movie soon started once everyone was seated. And It was pretty good. Made me laugh a couple times and Lucas too.
"I need to use the rest room real quick. Fill me in later kay." He whispered whilst winking at the last part. Making me snicker at his sudden seductive motion.
