Chp 44:Heart of a demon

Lucas's POV:

His golden eyes suddenly leaned closer and changed into a crimson red colour. "I wonder if you actually are immune? Shall we test it out?" He cackled.

I inched my face to the side and closed my eyes. He was so close I could feel his ragged breath on my skin.

He forcefully grabbed my head and pulled my eyelids open. "Bite your own tounge off!" He commanded.

'This psycho, if I wasn't actually immune I'd of killed myself. Just like his sister in this way, making crazy demands.'

He released me from his grasp and I spat on him, showing my disrespect. 'I know I am playing with fire here, but I can't stand this guy at all. He may have the face of a friend, but the heart of a demon.'

He brushed off my action and cackled.

"Hahahhahahaha! So it's true! You are truly the rare specimen that is immune to vampiristic powers. incredible!"

'I hated this. I hated this guy. How did I even end up with this guy?'

"How did I end up here? What happened to that woman?" I spoke in a commanding tone, demanding answers.

He stopped his laughing and became serious all of a sudden. His face straightened and his eyes certain.

"I killed her. After all she was going to kill you. So technically I'm your savior! Seems she had some grudge against Evan. Did you know that he killed her brother? It was at the movie theater if I can recall correctly of what she said."

My eyes widened and a gasp escaped me. 'What, that pervert was her brother! It makes more sense now, but now I'm in an even worse situation then death. Saviour my arse!'

"Oh ho ho. Seems you knew of this. How horrible." He said the last bit in a sarcastic tone, ensuring I got the message he didn't care.

He smirked at my response of gritting my teeth. 'This bastard! He has no feelings whatsoever!'

"Anyhow" He clapped, gaining my attention from the conversation. "You're my guest and it would be quite the shame if I were to ignore your presence any longer." His eyes glistened and he walked off, only to come back later with a cart of medical tools.

My heart rate increased at the sight of needles and scalpels lined up. 'Oh f*ck, this crazy f*cker is going to do some unimaginable things to me isn't he.'

He chuckled at my nervous look and the sweat dripping down my face. "Oh no! Have we lost our bite?" He cackled as he picked up a needle and filled it with a substance in a bottle.

The sight gave me chills. I struggled a bit reminding myself of my inescapable confinements.

He grinned at my reaction, squeezing some liquid out and tapping it. He knew it would make me wiggle some more and enjoyed the further fear in my eyes.

Robert held my head to the side, piercing my neck. Penetrating my skin with the needle, injecting me with the unknown substance. I tensed, only making it hurt more.

It burned like magma was following into my cells and destroying me from the inside out.

This immense pain was the worst I had felt ever before. I screamed at the top of my lungs as tears filled my eyes. 'EVAN SAVE ME!'
