The morning of the 25th of may, the day where Amariyah's dad would finally settle down and live a happily married life. Amariyah and Ria both woke up and started getting ready for the day. As Ria started to put on her clothes, Amariyah's hopped in the shower. After that, she went and gotten her make up done. Unfortunately, it was a hard process as Amariyah had never gotten her make up done and and it was slowly starting to irritate her.
About 2 hours later, everyone was ready and excited to proceed with the day. They say in the limo squealing and gossiping about all the girly things. They abruptly arrived at the venue and began to exit the limo. Ria left them and went to sit with the other guest and waited for the reception to start. Then all of a sudden the receptionist said it was time to start.
Amariyah and her younger uncle Jems walked side by side, in front of Lara, towards the front of the reception. And before Amariyah knew, the wedding was starting. Her dad and her new stepmom were putting the rings on each other's fingers and everyone one was cheering them on and staring at them in amusement. Amariyah walked over to her grandad noticing that she had seen him in a suit for the first time. The blue suit had brought out his golden face and made him stand out.
"Looking handsome ain't you grandad?" Amariyah asked giggling at her so called joke. "Yes darling, you like it?" He asked. "Yes grandad u look amazing. How do u feel, ur son is married and you've got a daughter-in-law?" She was curious to know her grandads perspective. "Welllll..." he responded dragging the end yet leaving Amariyah's question unanswered. Amariyah was nervous about the future with her step mom as she felt like they didn't have enough time to get to know each other. She was still happy that her dad had settled down, but she still felt like there should've been a bond. At the end of the day, she will forever and always respect her dads relationship.
A few weeks had passed, and it was almost Amariyah's birthday and she was super excited. She was going to finally be a teen and nothing thrilled her more.
