Polishing the hero!
a few days have passed and we're in the same city and hotel (shalour). and it's only a few hours to get to the canyon. tho we are not at the same exact room as last time, but the entire thing is still the same, also the floor is lower to the ground, making the view of the tower taller, but we're here without Alex and Lucario, they are left at Lumiose City.
Alex needs a rest...
it's kinda early, Curtana is already waiting at the door, i am quite tired since i didn't have a nice rest... well maybe because Alex is not here...
but anyways. we left the hotel and started to go towards the canyon with riding a bus, it's a bit rough... there are not much asphalt roads, more like a carved ground. well, it feels like that, there is a bunch off kids with their parents on the bus. most of them are excited. but one is a bit pale. he doesn't seem pretty happy.
i decided to talk to him, their parents aren't really paying attention.
"hey, how are you doing?" i said to the kid happily
"..." there is a silence
"are you meeti-"
"my sister just died," the kid said cutting me off... oh...
"uhh... sorry"
"..." another silence
"This was supposed to be her gift," the kid said again tearing up
"they thought i would be happy" the kid adds up, i went silent a bit. then i said something to him to make himself better
"you know... i lost a family as well, I've been growing up with them for a very long time... before we could reach for our dreams... they passed away," i said mournfully
"but as long as there is someone who still cares about you too, you should see them as your family as well... not only the ones you lost. soo don't forget about your friends and families" i said honestly, then he looks at me a bit, and tears are forming in his eyes. then he hugged his mother. the mother is surprised then looks at me and say
"thank you" it is a very nice thing... i wish it was that easy...
i got back to my seat with a bit of tear on my eyes, then i noticed Curtana Pokeball wiggled a bit, then i tapped it a bit to say that i was fine, then i looked at the window from the bus to look at the canyon view... and smiled.

we all got out of the bus, looking around there is a stage set up with cameras, seats, and staff members at the location. they said that we could get his autograph later after the role has ended. one of the staff members ordered us to take a seat to watch the show. then i asked the staff if i can let Curtana out or not... he said that were allowed as long as they behaved nicely, i let out Curtana and he springs in joy when he is out of the Pokeball, then the staff jumped a bit when Curtana hovers, they never expect one of their core ideas went out. i said to the staff he was the one who wanted to see 'core age' the man laughed a bit, the inspiration is the fan? quite funny. then we each take our seats, the kids are placed at the front. while the older ones are at the back row, i am at the back row and Curtana is hovering at the front row. he is at the side since he can block the view, there is a bunch of kids grouping towards him. and saying that he was the 'spirit' i kinda laugh at him while he was trying to get the kids to go away. then the staff said it has almost begun, and so the kids are back to their seats, making Curtana relieved.
then the staff gives a thumbs up to the rest, then everything went silent...
"CRASH!"
something landed from the sky, and it landed in front of the seats, and in the camera...
it was the hero 'Core Age!'
the kids started to cheer and Curtana as well. i kept silent so that they could enjoy it.
"Paper Cut! i will defeat you!" the hero in his armor yelled
and the kids cheered again with Curtana as well
then he runs toward a bunch of people in a paper samurai armor with a paper-like sword, he slashes their swords and got cutter in half, his fighting style is quite familiar with my style... just more flashy and inconsistent. after he clashed to what seems to be the commander. he swings his sword to his head. then he got flung like the ball from a baseball. then he landed on the ground defeated, then something came up from the shadows. the mysterious mercenary with a Bisharp like armor and a Bisharp spirit came onto the hero intimidatingly.
"huh? Bastion? what are you doing here?" the hero asked
"I've been paid" bastion said
"to defeat YOU!" he yelled, then a blade came out from his hands, and the audience shocked... also Curtana is as well
"i thought were friends?!"
"your greed has swallowed you!" the hero added
"greed is not my thing!" the mercenary yelled, then they run to each other and clash their weapons. kinda cool. and a nice plot twist.
their battle is a bit interesting... but it went for a while, also they say a bunch of stuff like, like the hero said "stop this! this is not you" in mid-battle, while also the mercenary said, "i must take you down!"
after a bunch of clashing then the hero jumped to lower ground, and while also the mercenary followed him. then they are out of our sight, one of the staff yelled at us to chase after them. it was quite a nice idea as since it made us feel that they are actually battling, we all got up and then the kids and Curtana with them rushing towards the stairs to get to the lower part of the canyon.

after stepping down the stairs, the kids and Curtana are standing behind a yellow line (probably for the recording) there is a few staff at their cameras, the place is kinda dark since the sun is blocked by the canyon. after a bunch of waiting, then suddenly the hero fell to the ground in front of us, then the mercenary landed on the ground, walking towards the fallen hero, i heard the kids yelling at Core age to "get up!" or "fight back" and other stuff, while Aegislash is yelling something as well. the hero is crawling towards a ledge of the natural platform, the hero is staring at his 'once' a friend, who is now ready to finish him. a strong wind blows...
"it's the end of your line," the mercenary said... cold-blooded.
"HAH! you think this is over! i feel it! the people cheering at me!" the hero said bravely, then the kids and the audience are starting to fire.
"I won't be defeated because i have my sp-"
"CRACK!"
i heard a very loud crack at the edge of the platform... is this part of the act? the entire thing stopped. the actor paused and the staff has frozen... but the kids are still yelling, but Curtana went silent.
then a crack was formed right between the mercenary and the hero. then suddenly the platform where the hero is laying down has now fallen into the canyon! i heard some screams from some of the staff and the audience and the staff, the kid is shocked as well!
"UUAAAAAHHHH!" the hero childishly screams as he fell, the other actor just jumped backward as more platforms are falling, i quickly ran towards the edge with some staff are yelling at me to no get near it, then Curtana followed as well
i looked down at the unstable platform and see the actor is falling! this is not part of the act... this is real!
"oh, crap! how do w-" i was cutted when Aegislash suddenly put himself at my right hand and his shield at my left.
"What are yo-" i was cut again as i fell a push from my hands...
i looked down...
I'm not touching the ground anymore...
Oh s-
"WAAAHHHHH!" i screamed as the rest are screaming as well!
now I'm falling!
i see the hero closed his eyes as he is falling.
it took me a millisecond to realize me to what to do.
i quickly positioned my dive with Curtana at my hands.
then i fell faster!
still in mid-air!
i was getting closer to the actor as he kept on pleading to Arceus so he could live (kinda cowardy as an actor) as i am falling through the ravine!
i quickly grabbed the back of his armor with my left hand with the shield!
he stopped pleading.
then i raised Curtana sword upwards.
then a very powerful force drifting upwards at my right hand!
i could feel my arm is about to rip! (luckily it didn't) then were falling more slowly...
then we are falling like a feather.
we're very near to the ground!
urgh...
My arm...
Can't...
Hold it!
i let go of my sword and i started to fall aga-
"OOF!" i landed on my butt! i can't move everything in my body...
ouch...
then i see Curtana eyes looking at me...
worriedly...
i tried to get up... but only to make my sitting position since almost every part of my muscles... hurt...
i see the actor ventilating quite hardly with my eyes half opened, he takes off his helmet and a quite generic man is breathing hardly...
after he...
threw up...
he looked at me, then he walks towards me and started to hug me with his hard armor...
ouch...
he cried saying thank you and a lot of other life appreciation...
my muscles are screaming at this rate...
Then...
I blacked out...

i still can't feel my body really...
i think i fell unconscious...
i tried to open my eyes...
i see i was being carried...
by the actor...
i was at his back...
we're walking on the ravine...
i see Curtana flying near me...
i tried to speak, but only a mumble came out. i see that the both of them stopped walking...
Curtana quickly came to me...
and the actor with still in his armor looking at me while i am still on his back...
then finally i can speak... for a little bit.
"wh-where are we," i said weakly
"oh my goodness your alright!" the actor yelled, Curtana said something as well.
"oh uh... we're trying to get up... I'm not sure how since this is the first time i came into this section" he added
"why... isn't... rescue," i said. still weak
"I'm not sure, they might have been searching for us now... it is quite tall," he said unensuring...
he is right...
we just fell from somewhere pretty high. also, the wind is very strong...
a helicopter would crash...
"huh"
"also... my name is Jack," he said. this is quite tiring.
there is a pause
"(sigh) let's get out of here" he said.
most of the time...
i was tired...
my muscles got shocked by the sudden intense tension...
i should be stronger than this...
this was just unexpected...
i need some rest...

everything still hurts. i can't move...
Jack and Curtana are walking upwards...
i am still being carried...
were on walking on a ledge...
my body is starting to feel better at least...
"were almost there!" Jack said to us...
we are getting closer...
then we stopped at a cave right in front of us...
i could hear some sirens sound coming out from the cave...
this cave is connected to the top...
"ah! there is the sound!" Jack yelled, then we came into the cave...
it was mostly dark, but there is a bunch of leaks at the top, making the place lit up a bit...
after a bunch of walks...
the siren is getting louder...
"we're almost there! hang on" he said
"i... am on you" i joked
then...
did i hear a screech?
it...
sounded like...
Zubat?
i tried to look around, and i see that we're surrounded by them...
oh...
"come on! i don't have time for this!" Jack yelled,
then Curtana nudges himself to Jack...
Jack is confused...
i see where this is going...
"Jack!"
"what?"
"use... Aegislash" he looked at me confused...
i didn't hear what he was trying to say...
but i think he is confused about what i meant, after a bunch of moments...
he finally grabbed Aegislash...
it looks like he fits now...
he dropped me to a sitting position...
now i am sitting at the ground...
with Jack using Curtana as a sword...
i have a weird feeling...
but now...
Curtana's dream came true...
he was used by the hero

i think i passed out while the battle is going on...
man...
i wish i could see it...
i might see Curtana, very happy...
i was laying down on something very soft...
i was at a bed...
but it's small...
also, the bed is shaking a bit...
my body felt way more better...
I tried to get up... this time i did it my self, i opened my eyes to see that i was in a vehicle... Curtana is not here? i see two people looking at me, they wore white?
"Sir? are you alright" a feminine voice called
"ugh... yeah, where am i going?" i ask
"you are going to the hospital" the man beside her said
"I... I don't think i need to... i was just... dunno" i said confused,
the doctor said i should be taking some rest...
this may be something...

i was getting out of the hospital, my right arm is given some supports, then i see a lot of people with their camera, Curtana is in my Pokeball. then suddenly these people started taking pictures of me and start asking questions.
"HOW DID YOU PULL IT OFF?!"
"ARE YOUR PARENTS RESPONSIBLE?!"
"DID YOU SAFE THE ACTOR?!"
"WHAT IS YOUR AEGISLASH?!"
they kept asking the question... if Alex was here, we could just teleport off...
then suddenly a car just came in front of me, making the reporters ran away, the door opened and there is a man in black formal clothing quickly guided me towards the vehicle, then in entered the vehicle with a lot of people still clinging on the car. then it drove away from the crowd... i sighed in relief.
i turned to see what is sitting beside me, and it was Jack!
he is wearing a formal shirt.
rather skinny to pull a stunt...
"Hi! it's nice to see you again!" he said happily
"OH! uh... hi,"
"i am here... to say you something" he looked down smiling
"what is it?"
"you... saved my life,"
"what could i repay you?" he asked like he begged
"oh... I-" i cut of as Curtana's Pokeball shake. i take a look at it and smiled
"well... there is one thing,"
"what is it?"

two days have passed, and we're back at Lumiose city, i opened the door with my left hand since i still need to be careful with my right hand still supported. i entered the dining room and i see Alex sitting and still with his bandage and Lucario, seemingly handing over a plate with fruits to Alex.
Alex saw me first and quickly got up with an excited face. then his face turned into concern. he saw the support on my right hand, he quickly runs towards me.
"What happened?" he said concerningly, then Lucario came towards me as well
"well... an unexpected accident happened," i said to them, Lucario then noticed to the support as well
"are you okay?" Lucario asked
"yeah! I'm fine! it just needed some rest" i said to my arm, then Curtana got out from the Pokeball.
"There is something i need to show you on TV!"Curtana tells the others
both of them looked at each other confused. then we walked to the living room with Curtana leading. then i take the middle, Lucario at my left, Alex at my right, and Curtana hovering near the TV. but not blocking our view, then i turned on the TV with flicking my left finger, then it turned on. the channel is already the one we're looking for, it was 'the shining sword' starting, it is episode 12!
there is a title for the episode.
"the spirit awakens!"
the episode started off with the cut of the last episode where the hero lands on the canyon stopping the villain transporting the 'secret weapon' then the entire same scene happened when we're at the canyon.

were back at the scene where the hero is on the ledge, then the ledge cracked! and now the hero is falling
"AAAAHHHH!" he yelled more manly now (not like last time) the camera followed as he falls, then suddenly his fall was slowed by something on his right hand! he takes a look at it and his sword glowed blue! then he landed on the ravine lightly.
"HUH?!" he said confused.
then the light inside his sword came out and started to form something,
the light formed into an Aegislash, and he is transparent
"That is me!" Curtana said as we watch the show
"Wait... Really?" Alex questioned
"That's cool!" Lucario added.we're back watching the show.
"HUH?! are you the spirit!" the hero said
"yes!" Curtana said in there... his voice is kinda different since it was dubbed
"This is the first time i see you!" the hero said surprised
"yes... you have finally believed! and thus now i can use my powers to help you!"
"wow! I've finally done it!"
"now... how do we get up there?" he said to himself
"i can help you with that!" then Curtana went inside the hero, and now his armor has started to glow, then the hero has suddenly floated
"Woah!" he yelled in excitement.
then the view turned to the mercenary walking towards a platoon of Paper Cut goons
"did you do it?" one of the soldiers asked
"yes... he is-" he was cut off as the hero dropped at the soldier head and standing right in front of the mercenary
"what! how?!" the mercenary yelled'
"I've finally been able to use the powers of my spirit!" he yelled
"What! How?!"
"hey! he's here. get him!" one of the soldiers behind the hero said, then the hero swings is sword while also turning towards them, then his sword extends in a cyan light and hits all of the platoons and launch them towards the ravine, then they all comically falls down to the water at the ravine, then they got drifted away.
then the hero turned again to see the mercenary bowing down on him
"Please! forgive me, my friend! I've fallen into greed!"
"it's alright my dear friend. we some times fall into it" he said as he reaches his hand to the mercenary, then the mercenary grabbed his hand and stood up
"so... what should i do now," the mercenary said
"you can help me fight off Paper cut! and make your spirit appear!"
"Really?"
"yeah! now let's go and chase that convoy!" the hero said, as they run towards the woods the screen paused and a to be continued screen came out...
"wow! that is nice!" Lucario cheered
"i didn't' expect you to be in a kids show" Alex appreciating Curtana, then Curtana blushes a bit.
then i breathe out some air.
"I'm hungry... let's eat!" i said to all of them, then Lucario quickly dashes towards the kitchen, then i walk towards to dining table with Alex by my side.
we sit at the chair, and Lucario is already eating an apple. i took a bite of the apple, then Lucario swallows his food and says something
"Justin! there is also something that happened here!" Lucario said excitedly
"Really?" i said, kinda not clear since there is apple at my mouth, then i see that Alex blushed
"yeah! it happened yesterday!"
"huh? what happened" i replied. Alex is still blushing while also taking a bite of the apple
"oh! it happened like this!"
then Lucario started to tell us the story.
