Fateful Gathering
it was the day when were recording, Lucario And Alex are getting ready on breakfast, but when Lucario tries to grab food at the basket on the dining room, he was unable to grab a fruit, then he takes a look inside it, then turns it around to see no fruits falling.
"uhh... Alex?" Lucario said to notify him, then Alex came out from the bedroom, changing his bandages.
"what is it?" he said
"We ran out of food again!"
"oh... i guess i eat too much again" Alex said, embarrassed
"it's alright, you need more food to get better" Lucario said positively, then Alex smiled
"yeah"
"let's get some more in the woods!" Lucario said excitedly, then he runs towards the guest room with the basket excitedly.
Alex kept smiling
"let's go" he said to himself

Lucario is already waiting outside, smiling. Alex got out of the house with the key, then uses his psychic to put the key to the doorknob, then he locks the door.
"you're able to use your powers again!" Lucario said kinda loudly, then Alex quickly turned around to see his surroundings. then he sighs in relief.
"careful, someone might hear you" Alex replied worriedly, then with realization, Lucario quickly looks around his surrounding as well.
"sorry" he replied quietly
"it's okay" Alex said, then he walks towards Lucario. who is near the fence
"i know you're excited" Alex added, then Lucario smiled at him
then they went towards the streets
"let's head to route 16" Alex said
"uhh... where is that again?"
"it's at east"
"well... where is east?" Lucario said still quietly, then Alex facepalm while also sighing.
"I'll explain"
then they talk about navigation on the way to route 16

after they went through the gate thanks to Justin's permission card. they went out and collect some fruits in the woods.
Lucario jumped on a tree branch to grab some apples, while Alex is waiting below with the basket.
then Alex mumbled
"if i was healed enough... maybe i can get more food" Alex said, but Lucario heard it.
"hey! it's fine! it is fun to climb on trees anyways!" Lucario said enthusiastically, then he grabbed some apples, then drop it towards Alex, Alex grabbed the given apples and put it in the basket on his right arm
"but it is more efficient" Alex said as he catches an apple and put it at the basket. then Lucario jumped down the apple tree, Lucario sighed when he's at the ground. then he started to look around for more fruits, until one interest him.
"Hey, look! a sitrus tree!" Lucario said loudly while also pointing at it. then Alex turns to see the tree
"let's get some!" Lucario said while also running towards the tree, then Alex sighed
"i don't think i really need it" Alex said while following him with walking.
"come on! don't be a downer!" Lucario added, then Alex looked down a bit and also smiling. then he giggles a bit
"Alright... let's get some" Alex said happily, Lucario jumped to hang at the tree branch.
"now that's the spirit!" Lucario said with a nice smile, then while he is hanging. he grabbed a sitrus and throws it to Alex, while Alex is charging an apple, he notices something glowing at the tree, Alex quickly focused at the glow, Lucario notices his reaction and turned his head to see the glow as well.
then a Durant appeared in the tree!
he is walking on the branch where Lucario is hanging at. Alex gasped as the durant is walking closer towards Lucario.
Lucario only looks at him with confusion while still hanging at the tree branch.
then the Durant opened his pincer to the air. Alex is scared as to what to happened next. then the Durant bit off the branch, then Lucario fell to the ground with the branch, after Lucario has fallen to the ground, the Durant came down as well
"I'm at work here!" the Durant said, it picked up the branch and walks away.

"wait... so you just got encountered by a Durant?" i said to Lucario at the table
"well... not really" Alex added
"oh! anyways... After that encounter..." Lucario said to continue the story.

Alex sighed in relief
"well that's rude" Alex mumbled
"Sorry!" Lucario yelled to the Durant, then Lucario got up
"let's go home," Alex said walking towards the path
"wait!" he said loudly, then he jumped back at the tree, then quickly throws the rest of the sitrus berry towards Alex, Alex was a bit unprepared. but he barely catches all of the fruit and put it at the basket.
"hey! slow down!" Alex yelled, Lucario then jumped down the tree
"you want to be quick, right?" Lucario said, then Alex sighed.
"yeah... let's go"
and thus now they walk towards their home.

while they are on their way to their home, Lucario saw something at the distance. he stopped walking and Alex stopped too, Lucario squinted his eyes to see what's in the distance. then knows what's in the distance
"Hey! look!" he pointed towards the direction where he is interested, then Alex tries to look at it as well
"There are more fruits!" Lucario added, he was right. there is a stack of fruits at a tree stump, then he runs towards it
"wait!" Alex yelled while speed-walked following Lucario.
After Lucario got close to the stump, he kneeled down to take a look at the fruits. the area seems to be quite clear out. Alex has a bad feeling about this
"i don't think we should take, those" Alex said quietly
"Huh? what do you mean?!" Lucario replied loudly looking at Alex
"i mean..." Alex paused and starts to look around
"what is i-"
"click!"
Alex heard the sound and quickly looks at the pile of fruits
"huh?!" Lucario reacted.
"POOF!"
a pink gas burst out from the fruits!
Alex with instinct jumped backward avoiding the smoke and dropping the basket, but Lucario kneeled still, inside the smoke.
"LUCARIO!" Alex yelled, Lucario turned looks at Alex with his eyes almost closed
"I-" Lucario cut off and stumbles to the ground!
"NO!" Alex screamed, Alex tries to get near Lucario but the Gas is covering most of the area.
then suddenly a man jumped down from the nearby tree! he is wearing a hat, glasses, a hunting bag, and an orange camo clothing to fit in the trees!
"Haah!" the man yelled as he throws a tube right in front of Alex.
the tube exploded and another Pink Gas burst from the container, Alex jumped backward again to avoid the gas. but then Alex stumbles as he didn't realize that he jumped towards a ledge! he tries to get back, but he slips and began rolling down the steep hill!
"ARGH!" He screamed in pain as he uncontrollably rolls through the hill.
it kept going and hurting Alex more... until it is finally an even ground. he stopped rolling and starts to get up,
he tries to get up... while Alex tries to stand up, his right knee inflicted great pain.
"AAHH!" he screamed as he came back stumbling to the ground. and now pressing his right knee to ease the pain...
it didn't work...
then he kept groaning in pain as tears started to form.
"urgh... Lucario" Alex said in sorrow.
Alex crawls to a nearby tree, while also bearing his pain...
physically and emotionally...
then he sits at the tree, with tears still contained...
he looked at the rotten apple near him...
and tears started dropping...
he looked at the hill he rolled down and sees the pink gas at the top...
the gas got him a little bit...
his bandages are ruined...
and now he is too tired to move...
but especially his right knee...
the pain is almost unbearable...
Alex closed his eyes...
He failed my promise...
"Hey!"
a distant yell was heard...
Alex opened his eyes and looks to his left...
and sees...
A Mismagius?
Alex tries to move away from it because he was scared.
"hey... scared..." the stranger said unclearly because Alex's hearing is blurred. her appearance is quite big, this Mismagius is different, Alex is still crying with his injured body. the Mismagius floats near Alex
"uh... I'll..." the Mismagius said but Alex didn't really hear what she said.
then the Mismagius sings an incantation, Alex is terrified to what happened next...
he thought that he would be in misery...
but Alex suddenly feels better?!
his hearing is now clearer!
the mismagius stopped singing.
"are you okay?" the Mismagius said and heard clearly. Alex tries to stand up but grunted as his right knee still hurts
"hey! be careful!" she said worriedly, then Alex went back sitting at the tree again. he breathes out some air in very big relief.
then Alex stares at the Mismagius
"Why didn't you make me suffer?" Alex questioned.
"I-i'm not that type of Mismagius!" the Mismagius quickly replied
"Really?"
"Y-YEAH!" she yelled.
then Alex takes another look at the top of the hill, the gas is gone.
"What happened to you?" the Mismagius asked
"i was trying to-" Alex stopped and remembers
"LUCARIO!" he yelled and jumps to an uphill, but before he could run, he fell down because his right knee didn't support him.
"hey! i said be careful!" the Mismagius added, then she flies towards Alex.
Alex tries to get up again, he stands up, but now he is limping to the hill
"I... urgh... need... to... SAV-" he cut off as he falls to the ground again.
"Are you not listening to me?!" she said, then she floats near him again
"you're in a very bad condition! can't you see that!" she yelled, this time Alex hears her...
then he raised himself to sit on the ground, he looked at his knee...
it was still badly injured...
then Alex starts to cry again...
"H-hey! don't cry!" the mismagius said.
Alex looks at her with tears...
he was still scared...
scared of her...
and scared of losing him...
"i know someone who can fix your leg!" she said loudly, trying to give hope
"huh?" Alex reacted, his tears stopped
"I'll call him here!"
"you'll just wait somewhere near here okay! I'll call him!" then she quickly flies into the woods, Alex relaxed, then he limps his way to another tree.
after he is by the tree, he sits down and also groaned while landing on the ground. The swollen on his right leg is getting worse the more he moves...
now all he can do... is to trust someone he never meets, and wait for her to call more help...
he didn't felt alone.

"okay" i paused the story
"so, Alex met a rather big Mismagius?" i repeat
Alex nodded
"i think... you might just found the screeching witch!" i said out loud
"huh?" Alex replied, not understanding what i meant
"oh... hehe" i chuckled
"sorry, well here" then i told the rest about what i know
"I heard a bunch of gossips in this city and towns near route 15 and 16, there is apparently a flying witch in that forest, people say that the ones who find it floating around, they will get screeched by it. they say that it has the appearance of a Mismagius, but people can't be sure about it since it was rather huge" i paused
"and for you to see one and helping you is... kinda odd"
"Also, there is a bunch of hunters out there to hunt the witch!" i added, then Alex clicked.
"But! She is different... She is actually... Friendly!" Alex defended her
"Huh?" i paused
"..."
"I guess I'll just continue hearing the story first... Lucario" i said to him
"Oh! Anyways... When Alex is still waiting..." Lucario continuing the story

Alex is getting tired, he almost went to sleep for waiting...
His eyes are mostly closed...
She's not coming back...
"Come on!" A yell was heard in the distant, Alex opened his eyes and see a Slowpoke getting pushed on the ground by the Mismagius. Alex notices them and...
he feels joy.
"Hey! Calm down!" The Slowpoke said
"No! We need to hurry!" The Mismagius yelled.
Then the slowpoke has finally arrived at the injured Gallade, the Slowpoke sighed.
"Alright... Let me see" the slowpoke said, then he examines Alex right swollen leg, then his left
"Hmm... It is very bad" he mumbles
"I even used Heal bell!" she added
"Huh?" He mumbles again, Alex only keep silent and hoped that the Slowpoke finds the idea
"Okay... I'll fix it" The Slowpoke said, then he puts his paw at Alex's right leg.
Then suddenly there is a glow at his paw.
Alex feels something that makes him relaxed, and also ease the pain incredibly.
Then he finished the healing. Alex's right leg is not swollen anymore
Alex tries to move it. It functions normally now.
"I healed most of it... It may sting a bit if you walk" the Slowpoke added,
Then Alex stands up, he is fine now... But he's right, it still stings. Alex made a grunt as he tries to walk uphill to find the hunter.
"Hey! Where are you going!" The Mismagius yelled. Alex turned slowly to see the Mismagius concerned.
"I'm bringing back my friend." He said to them as he walks up the hill.
the Mismagius looked down, then...
"I'm coming with you!" She yelled again
Alex stopped walking and turn around again to see the Mismagius in a determined face, Alex looks at her for a while...
Then he looked at her...
"Fine... Let's go" Alex said.
the Mismagius got excited
"Alright! Let's get this hunter!" She yelled. Then she flies through Alex and already at the top, it wasn't that tall.
"I might know where he keeps your friend!" She said. Alex perked up
"Huh!? Where!"
"Follow me!" She said as she flies upwards. Alex then follows her,
"Huh... What a girl" the slowpoke mumbles at the bottom.

Alex has been following the Mismagius for a while...
He is getting unsure...
"What is your friend anyways... Is it a Lucario?" The Mismagius said, mid-flight, Alex stays silent for a while as he walks... Then he replied.
"Yes... I promised my trainer to protect him... But-"
"You have a trainer!" The Mismagius yelled, hovering in front of Alex, stopping his walk.
Alex jumped a bit
"Uh... Yeah" Alex replied and blushed by the expression
"Can i meet your trainer!" The Mismagius came closer to him. Alex fell down on the grass and grunted.
"Ah! Sorry!" The Mismagius apologized blushing
"Uh... Yeah" he said again, blushing.
Then things went quite...
And quite awkward...

Alex blushed a bit.
"What is it?" Lucario stopped
"No... It's jus-"
"Whack!" I got cut off
"Ouch!" I screamed.
I got slapped in the head by Curtana's arm cloth.
"Hey!" I yelled.
Curtana sigh metallically.
"Just continue," Curtana said
"Oh... Okay... So after that..." Lucario added, proceeding

Then Alex stands up,
"Let's... (Sigh) just... go" Alex said tiredly, then the Mismagius shyly nodded and continue flying towards...
Somewhere...
And Alex following her...
They didn't talk after that...

The Mismagius stopped flying
"There it is!" She said.
Alex looked at what's ahead and sees...

Hotel?
It seems to be abandoned...
It's in the middle of the forest? weird...
"Some hunters camp there... For me" she said in a sad tone at the last part
"Huh? what?"
"oh... well, hunters came here to hunt me... it's been a while too" she added, Alex felt sad after hearing that.
"huh..." he paused...
then...
"tomorrow... i shall meet you with my trainer" he said, then the Mismagius got excited.
"Really!"
"But" he added
"We should save my friend first" he added seriously
"oh, yeah! let's save him!" she said loudly...
then...
they entered the building...

"hehe... this thing would give me more money!" the man in the camo said near a heavy metal cage in the lobby. with the inside of it, Lucario... sleeping.
"A talking pokemon... this will bring me fame! i will be famous in no-"
"HEY!" Mismagius yelled at the distance, the Hunter looked at him and shocked
"t-t-The Witch!" the hunter stuttered, Alex arrived. he look at Lucario who is at the metal cage. Then Alex Death stare at the Hunter,
"y-y-you're still alive!"
"bring us back Lucario!" Mismagius yelled.
the man backed away from them,
"tch! Fine!" he pulled out a Pokeball
"Alright! how about this!" he opened it and a...
T-Tyranitar came out!
"oh no! not good!" mismagius yelled
"so you're the fool!" the Tyranitar yelled
"uh... Gallade! do you have some fighting moves!" she yelled, the Tyranitar perked
"ugh... i... can't really use it"
"WHAT!?"
"Tyranitar, use dark pulse!" the hunter yelled
"you're finished" he said as he charges a dark pulse
"uhh... urgh!" she panicked. then she breathes in a lot of air then-
"SCREEEEEEE!"
she used echoed voice. the hotel shook as she screeches, the hunter closed his ears to block the sound, even Alex does.
after she finishes, she quickly gasps for air. she decided to look at what happened to the Tyra-
"RARGH!" the Tyrantinar yelled as he launches the completed dark pulse, the pulse is heading towards the mismagius!
"AH!" she screamed. she tried to move...
but she froze...
the attack was about to hit her...
until a push was felt by her!
it was Alex! he pushed Mismagius away from the pulse and hit's him instead!
"ARGH!" he screams as the pulse hit both of his legs!
they both landed on the ground, Mismagius quickly gets back up in the air came to Alex
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" she yelled, Alex looked up
"i was trying t- ARGH!" he screamed as his right leg hurts again, he panted
"hah... to... SAVE YOU!" he yelled, then the Mismagius blushed
"What! you're hurt!"
"heh... scared huh?!" the hunter yelled
"as long as i have this thing, i will do anything to keep it!" the man added, then the Tyranitar walked closer.
Mismagius quickly looks up to the Tyranitar
"you don't scare me!" she yelled
"it looks like you are" the Tyranitar mocked
"you..." then her entire body glows on purple
"BASTARD!" she yelled as her entire body is glowing!
"use brutal swing!" the hunter yelled, then the Tyranitar swings his arm at Mismagius!
but Mismagius disappeared to the portal below her that suddenly appeared
the attack missed!
"what the!" the hunter yelled
"How?!" the Tyranitar got confused and turns around
"urgh... huh?" Alex looked up to see a portal forming behind the Tyranitar,
Mismagius came out from the portal in mid-air and slashes a shadow behind the Tyranitar!
"RAAR!" the Tyranitar screamed, it was not really effective, but the attack is powerful!
then Mismagius quickly breathe in the air again to use echoed voice!
"No! don't let her use it again!" the man screamed
"Mis- urgh!" Alex words cut short
"SCREEEEE!" Mismagius screeched louder this time! now the entire hotel is shaking, parts of the roof started falling, Alex closed his ears and grind his teeth, the Tyranitar is also doing it. the hunter fell down to the ground
"MAKE IT STOOOOP!" he yelled closing his ears
"EEEEEEEEEEEEE!" she kept screeching...
until she ran out of air. she floated down to the ground beside Alex... breathing heavily.
"huh? it's over!" the man cheered
"hahaha! thanks to my earbuds! now no one is able to sto-"
"ugh... where am i" Lucario mumbled in the cage... he woke up!
both the Hunter and the Tyranitar turned around to the Lucario.
"huh? so you woke up?" the man said
"huh?" Lucario then stands up and grabbed the cage bars
"that is purely made out of titanium! you can't bend tha-"
"REEEEEEE" the titanium screeches as he bends open the cage...
EFFORTLESSLY!
"whoa..." the Mismagius surprised
"what?" Alex said, surprised as well
Lucario came out from the cage. the Hunter backed away, and his Tyranitar returns to the Pokeball by himself
"Hey!" the man yelled to Tyranitar Pokeball
Lucario starts to look around the lobby
"whoa... this place is dirty" he said to himself, then he sees Alex laying on the ground with both of his legs injured with an out of breath Mismagius on the ground as well
"huh?! Alex! are you okay?!"
"I'm... fine..."
"who hurt you like that?!"
"hah... that man..." Alex looked at the hunter, he was still backing away from Lucario
"hey!" he yelled, the hunter froze
"don't you ever hurt my friends like that!" Lucario yelled again, then he grabs a stone on the ground, and throws it at his face. the stone hits his face so hard that he was in mid-air for a second!
the hunter has fainted.
Alex and Mismagius looked at the fallen hunter in shock
then Lucario came towards Alex and Mismagius, the Mismagius float away from him.
Lucario came to Alex and picked him up, he grunted mid-way
"Are you okay?" Lucario said worriedly
"urgh... I'm fine"
"We need to get back to the city!"
"I'll take care of the guy!" Mismagius said to Lucario
"uh... okay!" Lucario replied and quickly run towards the exit
"Wait!" Alex yelled. Lucario stopped running.
"Mismagius" Alex said to her, Mismagius turned around to see him
"we'll meet... near... the gate... at... city" He replied...
with full effort...
the Mismagius eyes shined,
"I-i will!" she replied shakily... almost crying.
then Lucario ran to the exit and carrying Alex to the city...

"so after that, i took Alex to the pokemon center, then we head back home to rest. i went back to the route to grabbed our basket, and Alex rest at the bedroom" Lucario completed the story
"wait... what happened to the Hunter?" i ask
"oh! he was caught sleeping in front of the gate!"
"huh? i thought she might do something else to him"
"i told you... she's not a witch!" Alex said to me
"hehe... okay. anyways, is your right leg still hurts?" i said to Alex
"it still stings... but I'll be able to run" Alex said, i sigh in relief
"well... we should meet her" i said to the rest, Alex heard what i said and got excited.
"when!" Alex added
"well... how about now!"then Alex quickly stands up.
"Really?!" he replied excitedly
"yeah!" then i got up from my seat getting into the bedroom to grab something for her. the rest are waiting at the guest room.
i opened my drawer and see it...
I'm excited to meet her too.

we all arrived at the gate on route 16, we walk into a group of trees since we know that Mismagius needs to avoid people, were still near the gate tho. i tried to look around to see if she is out there.
all of us are looking for her...
"Mis?" a voice was heard, it must have been the Mismagius! then i started to look at the direction where the voice came from, then i see a figure behind a tree.
i see a tuft popping out from the sides of the tree, i see one red eye looking directly at me wit part of a W like mouth seen,
it's...
her!
"hey, it's nice to meet you!" i greeted her, then she came out from the tre-
whoa! she is big! Alex and Lucario were right! she is not like any normal one! she is almost as big as Lucario!
i made a surprised face, in which Mismagius stopped.
"oh! don't be scared! I'm fine!" i said to her
"Mismagius... come on" Alex said
then the Mismagius flies happily and made a happy song which made us... relaxed.
the Mismagius stopped and comes to us
"Alex... is it?" Mismagius ask Alex
"yeah!" Alex happily replied
"Alex! you looked better than before!"
"Thanks!"
then the Mismagius looked at me
"hi... I'm Alex partner" i said to her
"Hi, it's nice to meet you!" she said happily
"Nice to meet you too"
Mismagius was surprised by my reply
"you can understand me?!" she said, i nodded
"yep! thanks to Alex!" i replied happily
"Awesome!"
"It's nice to meet you" Curtana said behind me
"hi! I'm Lucario!" Lucario greeted
"i already know you!" she said
"oh... yeah!"
"hey" i said bringing her attention to me
"so... would you like to come with us?" i said to her, her eyes sparkled with joy
"Yes! OF COURSE!"
"alright then" i said to her, then i grabbed something in my pocket. i showed it to her.
her eyes sparkled even more!
it was a Pokeball, but the red section is purple, and the white part is pink!
then it becomes larger on my hand when i pressed the button.
"if you want to come, just press th-" without letting me finished, she quickly presses the button of the Pokeball! the Pokeball opened and a beam of light suddenly brings her inside the Pokeball, the rest looks at the Pokeball on my palm!
it shook once...
twice...
thrice!
"CLICK!"
the Pokeball clicked...
Mismagius is now our new friend!
all of us cheered as it was clicked, then i pressed the button to let out Mismagius.
Mismagius appeared in front of us...
she looked down and tears are coming out...
then she cuddled me with tears of joy running down her eyes...
i hugged back...
"you know..." i said to her
"I'm gonna call you..."
"Marie"
i gave her a new name!
"I-I love it!" she happily said on me...
"Thanks... Marie"
