A Dazzling Battle
the city is beautiful! trees with pink leaves! the building made with high details! and the feeling of history! and another big tree, but not as big as the one in Coumarine city! and the sun rising behind the tree! but anyways. the city is beautiful!

forget about it... man it's cold out here... i need a new jacket...
i began shivering when a wind hit's me.
"uh... are you okay?" Alex asked
"yeah... just cold" i replied
"can you buy another one?" Lucario asked
"hmm..." i stopped and think of the idea...
yeah! that is a good idea!
"yeah! i could buy a new one... but that one is special" i mumbled at the last
"but it looks boring! it's just white!" Marie suddenly joined
"to be honest... she is correct" Curtana said as well
then i sigh on giving up
"fine... I'll buy a new one"
"let's get one then!" Lucario said as he runs towards the city
"hey!" i yelled, then the rest runs with them, do they really want me to but a new jacket?!
"H-Hey! wait!" i yelled again as i run after them,
"I'll go to that store!" Lucario yelled
"what store?!" Marie yelled as well
"Hey!" i yelled again as they separated to get in a store,
i decided to follow Lucario and Marie.

i am in a clothing shop...
it was a very nice store...
but most of the clothes are for women...
i am looking at a row dark-colored jackets...
not my style...
"hey! what about this?" Lucario said through aura...
or telepathy.
i looked at my left to see Lucario bringing some jackets at me, each one on his right and left paw and another one that he grabbed with his jaw from the hanger...
but they are all pink, and each has a cute pokemon decals. a Sylveon, Chansey, and Jigglypuff.
"um... thanks but... i don't like pink" i said to him
"but pink looks good on you!" Marie said to me from above, carrying a purple jacket
"thanks but... no" i said to them sadly
then an employee with white clothing came to us
"excuse me, but pokemon's a-"
she cut her sentence suddenly
"what?" i said to here to continue,
"uh... nothing" then she walked away from me awkwardly...
well...
she is trying to say that pokemon aren't allowed to be out in the store...
so i guess i should get out.
"um... we should get out" i said to my friends
"What? why!" Marie asked
"This store doesn't allow pokemon... plus, i already checked most of the jackets... they are not interesting"
then Marie sighed
"fine" she grunted
"We should check out Alex and Curtana!" Lucario reminded us
"oh! yeah!" then i quickly walked to the exit,
while waiting for my friends to get out, i see the same employee getting yelled by the manager it seems...
man...
then i see my friends coming out with their arms free
"let's check out Alex!" Marie said to me
"Yeah!" Lucario joined
i chuckled a bit
"Okay, let's go" then i walked towards the other store that Alex and Curtana went.

after we walked my way to another store, i see Alex and Aegislash standing right in front of it, they are looking at something inside the store from the giant glass view, i came towards them, Alex and Curtana already know about this so they didn't mind about me...
then i looked at what they are looking at...
it was a jacket... but plain white, and there is... my fake autograph at the back?
how?
there is even... my dad's old jacket... it was replicated but...
it was colored black and had a purple strike, modeling the jacket to space like.
it was 'Ender' jacket...
my dad's jacket...
"seriously?!" i blurted
"that's not even my autograph!" i blurted again
"you're right" Alex said,
then the door from the store opened with a teen that is using the white jacket, he looked at me then his eyes shine
"Justin? is that really Justin?!" he said out loud, but few people are looking at me...
(sigh)
"um... yeah" i said to the teen quietly
"did you sign the autograph of this jacket!" he said as he shows it, the people started to get interested, Alex, Curtana, and my other friend starting to feel pressured, while Lucario and Marie feel invited
"uh... no... sorry"
"Are you saying that this is fake!" the kid yelled
"yeah..."
then there is a silence, and a click was heard.
"then... can you autograph this jacket!" he said suddenly
"i... am sorry, i don't really have one"
"but-" he said as he walks towards me, the Alex steps forward towards him with starting to attack, the kid stopped walking. then i could see that he is sad
he noticed this and started to walk away and clicks started to be heard more rapidly, then i felt remorse...
"wait!" i called the kid, he turned around happily,
"you can have this!" i said as i grabbed something from my pocket and throws it towards him. he clumsily catches it, then he looks at it. it was a shiny green Pokeball badge, similar to Alex old Pokeball,
"i was about to sell those, you can have that one" i said to him, his eyes shine again and he gives a smile i won't forget
"thank you!" then he runs off to the distance...
the people started walking away,
then i felt something touched my shoulder. it was Alex
"nice" he said
i sigh in relief
"thanks" i replied
then we looked at the kid running with joy...
he reminds me...

i finally bought a new one, it was the same white...
but with added style with kelly green strikes, still mostly white...
is it similar to a Gallade?

it's warmer and has a hoodie like the old one, this one is thicker too
were walking towards the gym, and it is noon.
"nice! i like your new Jacket!" Lucario complemented
"thanks" i thanked
"you are somehow similar to Alex!" Marie said as well
Alex then scratched his head while also smiling
"hehe, yeah" i said smiling as well
then i remembered something, i stopped walking
"oh, both of you should come back to your Pokeball now" i sadly said
"what! can i stay for a bit more while!" Marie suddenly said
"Marie?" Alex and Curtana called her name in unison
then Marie sighed
"fine" she said with a hopeless tone
"it's alright, you will be out later anyways" i said to her
"Really?!"
"yeah, so get some rest for now"
then i pulled out two pokeballs and returned Curtana and Marie
"wait... why don't i have a Pokeball?" Lucario suddenly added...

"huh? oh!" i suddenly realized
"well... do you want to be with us?" i asked him
"of course!" he yelled,
"hehe, Okay then" i giggled as i brought out a normal Pokeball,
"here, press the button" i said as i give it to him,
after he grabbed it, he readied his paw to press it
"here i go!" he said excitedly,
then he pressed it...

uh...
nothing happened
"uh... did you press it?"
"i did!"
then he pressed it again...
it didn't work, he started pressing it repeatedly
"wait! maybe that one broke, try this one" i said as i bring out a great ball,
he returned me the normal one and take the great one.
then he pressed it...

huh?
it didn't work?
Lucario started pressing it more repeatedly again.
then he stopped
"Why doesn't it work!" he yelled
"I'm not sure..."
"How is this possible?" Alex joined
"How did Marie went in that easily?!" Lucario said
"well..." i am out of idea...
if we could meet a professor, it would be fixed...
i sighed sadly
"let's figure this out later, let's go to the next Gym" i said to them
Alex nodded and pat Lucario at the back, Lucario kept looking at the Pokeball sadly,
he sighed and give it back to me.
then we walked towards the next gym with worry in our heart...

we're about to battle the Laverre City Gym! the gym was a huge House with an Ancient tree right behind it! it was all Autumn colored! gives me a mystical Vibe!
but then i heard Alex sighed right behind me?
i looked at him to see he hung his head down looking sad,
"i won't be battling... am i" he said to me
"well... yeah..." i said with a heavy heart
"but you will battle next time!" Lucario cheered him up
"thanks" Alex smiled and looks at him
"Alright then, we should get in!" i said as i went in the building...
WOW!
I've never seen a building this unique! beautiful too! even my friends are impressed as well, and the arena is well lit with almost disk looking lantern! and the battlefield is made nicely! and the walls are digital, showing a bunch of beautiful Autumn trees! it feels real!
huh... why is this a Gym, it's more like a museum for me...
well, that is my opinion...
as i stand on the battlefield, i looked around to see where is the Gym leader...
then a light foot tap was heard coming from a dark entrance on right in front of me...
is that...
a Pokemon?

it's the gym leader!
Valerie, she likes to wear costume and makeup as a Pokemon, her arm is like a wing, a styled antenna on her head, and her pupil is mostly black... like a fairy! i heard she said she wants to feel like one?
and is that a crown? it was silver-colored, but most of her hair is covering it.
after she was on the battlefield, she presented her self.
"Oh, if it isn't the son of the previous champion ... So you've flown all the way through my Gym, fluttering down to me on a fortunate wind. Then I suppose you have earned yourself the right to a battle.
I am Valerie.
I hope your visit will prove entertaining to you" she said smoothly
"This place has already entertained me" I said to her honestly
"thank you" she said as she bowed
"then... we shall battle!" I said excitedly.

the Mr. mime quickly did some shows of an invisible wall, Marie was confused at this
"what are you doing?" she said to him
"There is a wall!" the mime said to her and smiling
"Wha?" she was still confused
talking time is over...
Let's battle!
"Marie! use shadow ball!" I yelled
"Wha- oh! yeah!" she quickly charged a shadow ball and launch it towards the Mr.mime
then suddenly a light-reflective screen was seen right in front of the Mr. mime, she is using Reflect this whole time! the shadow ball bounced and headed towards Marie!
"Marie!" i yelled at her to make her dodge the counterattack, but it was too late. she got hit by her own attack!
"AAAII!" she screamed childishly
"Marie!" Alex yelled in the background,
"hehe!" the Mr. mime chuckled
after Marie cough of the smoke she heard Mr. mime chuckled
"oh you-"
"Marie! concentrate!" i said to her, as i cut her off
she looks at me and nodded seriously.
"Okay, use shadow ball again!" i yelled,
she launched two shadow balls at the Mr. mime simultaneously.
"keep the Reflect!" the Gym leader Valerie said.
just as expected, she used Reflect again! then the two shadow ball has bounced off from the screen and flies towards Marie again in a pincer style!
"Marie! Hex!" i yelled quickly, this time, Marie responded quickly and made a teleport from below her and went in, then the shadow ball collided too each other in mid-air where Marie was at the time, a smokescreen was made! they didn't know where Marie is!
Mr. mime looks around to see where did she go...
then...
a crack was made on the ground behind Mr. mime, the Marie came out slowly with an evil like a grin and a glowing eyes...
to be honest...
it was quite scary...
"Mr. mime! behind you!" Valerie yelled as she saw the huge Mismagius appearing,
Mr. mime turned around to see her grin, he was scared.
then Marie attacked him with Hex! it s Very effective!
Mr. mime got hit by the attack and stumble!
"finish it with Shadow Ball!" i yelled
"now this will hit!" Marie said as she launches two Shadow balls again!
the attack hit's him and he fell to the ground!
Mr. mime is unable to battle anymore!
"yes! you did it!" i cheered to Marie
"I-i did?" she said unsure
"yeah! you did it!" Lucario said in the background as well through Aura... or is it telepathy?
What should i call it? (you can ask about this on the comment)
"huh... thanks!" she said as she realized
then i see Valerie smiled as well
"Mr. mime, return" She said as the Mr. mime returned to his own Pokeball that Valerie is grabbing
"Sylveon! it's time for your show!" she said as she grabbed Sylveon Pokeball
the Sylveon landed on the battlefield with a battle stance,
but after he saw Marie, he quickly hissed and backed a bit because of the intimidating large appearance of Marie
Marie only tilted her head in confusion
"heh, Marie! use Echoed scream!" i yelled,
then Marie screeches at the Sylveon! the Sylveon closed his eyes and clenched his teeth as he bears the pain.
"Hex!" i yelled, then she quickly gets it the portal right bellow her again
then Valerie called out something i didn't expect...
"Sylveon! Dazzling gleam! Now!" she called out,
then Sylveon started to glow! Marie just came out of the portal right behind him and shocked to see him glowing!
"Marie! get back in!" i yelled as the Sylveon flashes a blinding light! i closed my eyes to not get blinded, maybe i should buy glasses to block this kind of light...
after the arena is not as bright as the sun anymore, i opened my eyes to see only Sylveon standing on the battlefield...
is she-
then a purple portal appear right on top off Sylveon and Marie came out!
"Dazzling gleam again!" Valerie yelled, the the Sylveon started glowing again!"
"Ma-"
"Not this time!" she cut me off as she quickly stabs the Sylveon, the Sylveon stopped glowing as it cries in pain!
"Sylveon!" Valerie said to her friend, then Marie flies up and throws a couple of shadow balls at the fallen Sylveon!
Marie is quick!
after the shadow balls impact and exploded on Sylveon, the smoke covers the Sylveon...
Marie flies back right in front of me to be prepared as well...
after the smoke clears...
Sylveon has fainted!
i can hear Valerie sigh,
"Sylveon, Return" she said as she returned Sylveon
"you are a very Fiery trainer like your father, and you do care about your friends like a delicate flower, You're a filled with Care and fire." she said
"that's where i got the name," i said as i scratch the back of my head and smiling
"but it was just a nickname..." she added
"yeah... i don't really like my real one"
"..."
"..."
"Hey! let's battle already!" Marie suddenly intruded
"Hey, that's rude!" i said to her angrily
"oh... sorry!" she said apologizing
then i heard Valerie Giggled
"Mawile!" she said as she released Mawile...
wait...
is that a Mega stone on her head?
"I've recently been training, and i will beat you with my new profound power!" she said as she moved her hair and a Keystone crown was seen! she pressed it and beams started coming out and powers the Mawile!
"what is going on!" Marie yelled as a bright light emits from the Mawile
i can see Alex's face is in fear, and Lucario surprised
i looked back at Mawile, and... she changed!
now Mawile has a second set of jaws protruding from the back of its head, and both sets now have a spiky tuft of hair. It also seems to be able to control each jaw independently of each other! The ear-like extensions on its head are longer and have tips with two points! The fur on its legs is now magenta, and it now has longer fur on its arms with magenta markings around its wrists!
it looks like her hair jaws can rip someone in half!
"uh oh" Marie said to her self
"uh... Marie, you might wanna-"
"No! i can win this!" Marie cut me off again...
"But, you can't win! she has the advantage!"
"I will win! just watch!" she said as she quickly used Hex and went in a portal,
"Marie!" i yelled at the battlefield, not knowing where she is...
then Valerie sighed in disappointment.
"Mawile-" she said as one of the Mawile jaws opened,
then suddenly Marie came out of the ground...
with the Jaw of Mawile hair already opened at her
"Crunch" Valerie continued with a sad tone, then Mawile got crunched by the jaw!
"AAAAAHHH!" she screams as the Jaw crushed her
"MARIE!" i heard Alex Screams in the distance
"can you get out off there?!" Lucario suggested
my face went from fear to disappointment
She didn't listen to me...
"G-get this thing off me!" she yelled as the Jaw still locked
then Mawile quickly spins and throws her outside off the battlefield behind me...
i turned around to see Marie injured outside of the battlefield,
she was unable to battle anymore...
then Alex quickly jumped down and kneeled beside her to check.
"Marie! Are you alright?" Alex spat
"I-I'm... F-fine" she whimpers
then Alex sigh in relief and disappointment...
Alex looked at me, signing something with his expression. then i understood what he meant.
i sigh as i returned her...
(sigh)
i should have expected this...
"It seems like your friend ignored you" Valerie said sadly
"yeah" i replied sadly as well, then Alex stood right beside me.
"here" i said as i gave him the Bracelet with his Mega stone,
then I put on mine as well...
i feel something is holding back...
i looked at Alex with concern, but he gave me a determined face to Avenge Marie...
i smiled again...
"alright... Ready?" i said to my pal, he nodded with Agreement.
Alright! Let's do this!
"Alex! Mega Evolve!" i yelled as i pressed the Keystone on my wrist, then a beam of light blasted through it!
then after Alex Absorbs it, he glows brightly! then he turned to his next Powerfull form!
Mega Gallade!
now this is the match I'm looking for...
let's hope that this was controlled this time...
A Mega Gallade is now standing on the Battlefield with Determination...
The Mega Mawile brings charm and fear on the Battlefield...
