Quite the day
this is it...
the battle I've been waiting for...
"Psycho Cut!"
and the battle that i fear...
"Alex! Dodge!"
i was worried...
"Mawile! Play rough!"
i might lose him...
"Protect!"
i don't want it to happen again
"Counter it with Close combat!" i said quickly through telepathy as Alex quickly did a flurry of punches, while Mawile is blocking it with both of her hair jaws,
"Crunch him!" Valerie said in a serious tone after Alex finished punching. both of her jaws opened, with the great speed each jaw grabs Alex's arms!
Alex screamed in pain as both of his arms are stuck on Mawile's jaws!
"Hyper beam!" i yelled as Alex Stopped screaming and his spike on his chest started glowing brightly,
the Mawile realize this but it was too late. a huge dark beam burst out of Alex's chest and hit Mawile. with the sheer force, she lets go as Alex and Mawile launched on opposite sides,
Mawile and Alex land roughly.
Alex kneeled and panted,
the Mawile also gets up and panted as well.
"you seem to be hesitating on something... what is it?" she said to me in a serious tone
i looked at her eyes
"because..."
i clenched my fist, grit my teeth, and hang my head down...
"i can't lose him..." i said with huge pain down my heart...
"it's because you are doubting your friend." that word struck me like a celestial crush on my head...
she's right...
i doubted my friend...
i doubted Alex...
hehe...
i guess i should have changed!
Alex looks at me with a determined face after i realized...
then i smiled...

a grin...
it's time to do this!
FOR REAL!
"Mawile, Play rough!" she called out on Mawile, she quickly dashes towards Alex that is still kneeling...
"Alex!"
i yelled as it gave an order by telepathy.
Alex quickly teleported to her side and blast a Hyper beam
she got blasted and landed, almost at the end of the battlefield.
with hesitating his tiredness, Alex quickly jumped towards Mawile and uses close combat at her,
the familiar Gatling soundwave was heard in my eardrums as the punches are clearly fatal, then with a final hard punch! the Mawile was out of the Battlefield and crashed on the wall...
after she fell down from the wall, she returns to her old form...
we won!
"that is for Marie" he mumbled... even though it's not...
"You did it!" Lucario cheered as he came beside me
then Valerie returned Mawile as she walks towards me and Alex coming as well, still in his evolved form
then she stopped right in front of me.
"you finally believed your friend" she said to me smiling
"yeah... thank you... i wouldn't have let Alex Mega evolve again if it weren't for you, also. That's a nice Battle!" i smiled at the end
"Yes... That was a fine battle" she said as she takes her Gym badge.
"I shall reward you for this great victory. This is the Fairy Badge. It is yours now. Its beauty is captivating, is it not?" she said as she stares at it...

"Hello?" i said as i tried to give her attention away from her own Badge
"AH... Do forgive me. I was so captivated, I forgot for a moment that it is yours." she said as she was kinda embarrassed...
"ooookay... thanks!" i said as if it was awkward, Lucario Giggled and Alex returned to his old form...
this was quite the day...

were exiting the Pokemon center when i am still disappointed on someone...
after were on a street where there is almost no people walking around, i decided to talk to Marie.
after i opened her Pokeball she quickly flies around happily again
"yay! what do we do now!" she said excitedly...
"Marie... we need to talk" i said to her with my expression solemn
"About what?!" she said as if she was in a hurry
"do you remember the time you ignored me?"
"what's about it?"
"well... it bad for you to ignore me"
"what?! i thought i was fine with my own choice!"
"but that's not how we do it... because..." i clenched my fist as i was about to say a painful word for my self...
"I'm your trainer!" i yelled as Alex was in shock by my words...
Lucario was confused...
then Marie sigh...
"Okay... I'll follow you..." she said as she noticed that i was starting to tear up...

"H-Hey! are you okay?" she said worriedly, i noticed that i am starting to cry...

i quickly wiped my tears off as my hand shakes by itself...
"just... return..." i said as i grabbed her Pokeball, she gives in and went in the Ball by herself...
i looked at Alex who his hands are starting to shake and a tear was seen...
i looked at my hands and started crying...
"Justin? are you okay?" Lucario said with concern as he tapped my shoulder, i quickly hold my shaking hand and turned around as i put a fake smile to Lucario,
"I-I'm fine... let's get to Dendemille town..." i said as i started walking towards Alex then tapped his Shoulder, he snaps out and started following me.

were at Route 15... next stop. Dendemille town! i walked as the sky is about to get dark... it's almost late... the leaves and the sky are orange...
it will be only a while till we arrived at the next town...
i wish this scenery could stay forever...
"do you remember that day?" Alex suddenly said to me, i looked at him and he was smiling at the ground.
"huh?" i replied to let him continue
"the time when i cut a tree... when i evolved..."
"yeah... but that is Dawn, not dusk"
"i know... but it feels familiar." he said as he looks around the trees...
"well... i remember the time when i played with my friends back then!" Lucario suddenly said...

i looked at him instantly with an excited and scared feel, Alex is as well!
"W-Who was your friend back then?" i replied shakily
"oh! My friend is a Butterfree and a Pangoro... wait! i remember my old friends!" he suddenly remembered! this is amazing!
"ok do you know where your friend is?" i said as it might help with his memory
"i..." he suddenly paused...

then he sighs...
"i can't remember them... but i know they're my friends!" he said loudly...
(sigh) i guess he only remembered what his friend species are...
"do you know any more than that?" Alex added
"um... no." he said as he hung his head down a feel sad...
i came to him and pet his head
"it's ok, you'll remember more later... let's get going," i said as i continue to walk on the path with Alex, then Lucario follows...

"wait... should i have a nickname?" Lucario suddenly said again,
"well... which one do you like?" i asked him
"I'm not sure... how about you name me!" he asked
"well..." i started thinking about a name...

oh! i know!
"how about... i call you Max!" i called out his new name
"yeah! i like it!" he said excitedly
"Nice name... Max" Alex called his name as well
"Thanks!" Max Thanked.

we have arrived at Dendemille Town!
and man is it cold!
i was lucky to buy this new jacket, or else i got cold!
it was night anyway, and the lights on the light post brighten the place like a Christmas eve! but it is not Christmas yet... as the light crystals fall down, touching my jacket as I make me feel cooler... Alex rubs his arm as he tries to warm himself up
"huh... it's cold?" Alex said as he lets out a breath, making a mist.
"wow! that's cool!" Max said as he blows air, but not much mist is made
"why can you make more!?" Max complained
"well you can't just blow air, you need to breathe out the air in order to make more," i said as the mist is coming out from my mouth as well.
"oh! okay!" Max said as he breathed out his air, and a large mist was made.
"Cool!" Max likes it
"aren't you getting cold?" Alex asked Max
"um... no, i feel fine" Max said plainly
"well... maybe since Lucario's are cold-resistant and some also like to live in a cold place... kinda make sense for you not to feel cold" I explained
"well... lucky you" Alex ended
"let's get somewhere warmer for us" I suggested
"oh, I see fire on that building!" Max said excitedly as he point's to a beautiful cafe with many windows and a fireplace inside the house, as the smoke is coming out from the chimney.
"Yeah, maybe we can get there. let's relax in there while I booked a hotel..." I said as Max walked quickly towards the cafe,
"hey wait!" I said as I tried to catch him up as Alex follows as well.

"Aahhhh! this is delicious!" Max said on telepathy on the line part as he finished sipping his Hot Chocolate
"Yeah, it's warm" Alex added on his Hot Chocolate as well
"yeah, this 'Cinccino Cappuccino' is delicious as well" I said I sip on the sweet milky coffee that i ordered, even though it's more into the sweetness. I'm fine at it since it is a special drink.
we're sitting near the fireplace too.
"Also, I'm almost done with our new place to rest, it's a hut too!" i added
"a hut? never heard of that concept before" Alex said as he takes a sip at his Hot Chocolate
"does it have a chimpney?" Max said wrongly
"it's chimney... and yes, it does!" i cleared it up and giggled too, Alex Giggled as well
"hehe, sorry" Max joked about it
"so... when we head next to Anistar city... we will go through route 17 right?" Alex suddenly added
"well yeah... what's wrong?" i said to Alex in concern
Alex looked down and put down his Hot Chocolate
"i just had a nightmare, where i was left in a blizzard where i was alone... then i froze... that place is snowy right?"
"well yeah, but the news said that their prediction that tomorrow that there will be no blizzard, only light snow in the daylight!" i motivated him
"thanks" Alex thanked me... but i can feel that he still has fear inside him...
(sigh)
I'll finish this Cappucino...
then we'll move to our temporary hut...

"wow, how could the wood didn't burn!" Max said in awe inside the wooden but fancy house. the lanterns and fire in the fireplace makes the entire hut lit in an orange tone. making it very...
Relaxing.
"because the fire is contained inside the Fireplace, the fireplace is made out of a brick anyways" i explained to Max
"This place is warm too" Alex added
"where do we rest?" Max added a point,
"i think it's that room over there" i said as i pointed at a door.
"Okay, then i should rest first" Alex said as he went towards the bedroom
"wait for me!" Max added as he follows as well when they are entering the room, i decided to sit at a comfy chair near the fireplace, it reminds me of one of those storytimes...
i sit at the comfy chair and noticed that Max hasn't entered the room yet.
"Justin, Aren't you going to rest with us?" Max said in the middle of the opened door.
"no... i rest after i finished reading this book" i said as i showed him a book that i read...
it was interesting anyway...
"Okay, good night!" Max said as he closes the door.
then i stared at the Fireplace for a while...

then i opened the book that I'm reading, the title is the 'princess Guardian'
quite a story in fact. it wasn't really famous, but it was nice in my opinion...
i guess i should read it till the end now...
it is a short story anyways...
