Set off in the year of 2018, in the capital of Manila, the group of 7 friends, together with the office worker's brother, a popular actress, and a painter, were mystically followed by a person wearing a black hoodie. 

Everyone has a secret to keep, but when someone tries to peek into the gloom, you will never know how dark they are.

I originally entitled this story "Diyes" which means "Ten" in Latin words. It also released this story in the year 2018 as an unofficial/ school project film on the university premises of Pamantasan ng Cabuyao. 

Together with the author herself — that's me — the story's arranged with Razil Jane Mamplata and Chris Joshua Gonio as the main scriptwriters for the film. 

However, the book was written by me myself with many additional scenes that are not shown in the school film.

Ten Darkest Secrets (Betrayer Series Book #1)

August 9th, the year 2018. Thursday.

Nearly 3 weeks after Katrina Fajardo went missing.

6 days after Dominador Gomez went missing.

Carmela readied her knife as she was huffing some air behind Marcus.

The person raised his gloved hands and gripped the doorknob tightly. He was aiming the gun in his front as he was huffing some air on the gap of the screaming mask by the mouth while Carmela and Marcus were readying themselves. Xyrelle and Matthew were looking at the backyard as the door started to open.

Marcus jumped out of their hidden spot as he kicked the man on the abdomen while aiming the gun right on his head. The man tumbled on the floor, grunting in pain, and Carmela showed herself up as she crouched down and placed the sharp surface of the knife through the thin cloth by his neck.
