Kit's POV

"Stay still." said Javelin

She tightens my wrapping around my shoulder causing pain to erupt throughout my shoulder.

"Calm down don't tighten it so suddenly." I complained

Javelin just made it tighter making me yelp in pain.

"Stop complaining." said Javelin

"Colonel where are we going?" asked Bomber

"I don't know, we don't even know what the hell is going on we don't even have any fucking idea what to do." replied Ghost

"How about we try talking to an Marlyean elder?" asked Hacker

"Do you really think an elder is going to accept us into their household?" asked Juggernaut

"Contact!" yelled Phantom

Everyone ducks down as bullets starting breaking through the wood that gave us some hiding cover. But now the bullets were completely destroying it, showing our position.

"It's the police! Take it down!" yelled Hacker

Bomber grabs his rocket launcher, aims it and fires it. the police car erupts into flames but more police cars began to emerge.

"Fuck I only got two rounds left!" yelled Bomber

"Save it for now!" yelled Phantom

Suddenly I felt the earth tremble and the truck shook a bit. I look up and I see Eren's titan crash into a bunch of police cars behind us and start running after us with Annie behind us.

"Oh fuck..." sighed Javelin

"Take out the legs!" yelled Phantom

Bomber quickly shot Eren's leg off, slowing him down. Bomber reloaded and shot Annie but Annie jumped, the rocket barely missing her. Juggernaut and Hacker immediately start spraying her leg with bullets but she crystallized her leg while running.

"Is that even possible?" asked Hacker

"Doesn't matter." said Phantom

"Oh shit everyone hang on!" yelled Ghost

The truck immediately swerves to the right but something hits us and it launches the truck off its side. We crashed into a building and I fell off the truck and stumbled onto the ground.

"Everyone good!" yelled Ghost

"Sir we're good!" yelled Bomber

"Let's go!" yelled Ghost

He picks up Phantom and we run deep into the building. Javelin helps me up and we run off following the others.

"They're in there!" yelled a voice from outside

Up ahead Bomber quickly set up a trip wire with flash bangs instead of explosives.

"This will slow them down." said Bomber

We ran off to the back exit and started heading into another building.

"Contact 11 o'clock windows!" yelled Marksman

I grab my pistol out from my holster and started shooting at the polices who were shooting at us from the window.

"Move it, into the building!" yelled Ghost

"Covering fire!" yelled Marksman

Marksman's aiming was always precise hitting every target and moving onto the next one like it was nothing, he doesn't even need a spotter while sniping for range shots.

"Enemies on our six!" yelled Juggernaut

I turned around and I saw the Eldians approaching us and shooting at both the police and us. Eren and Annie were back into human form and were shooting at us. A bullet hits the back of my vest and I fall onto the ground. Javelin grabs the back of my vest collar and starts dragging me while I shoot back at the Eldians.

"Bomber now!" yelled Hacker

Bomber spins around and faces the Eldians and shoots an RPG he picked up from the ground. The rocket hits the wall of the building and debris falls onto the Eldians buying us some time. Javelin drags me into the building and Ghost immediately shuts the door and checks on me.

"It got the plate but shit that hurt like hell." I groaned

"The shoulder?" asked Ghost

"It's fine sir." I replied

"Okay then, let's get out of here so we can patch you up." said Ghost

I got up and we started moving, gunshots behind us still echoing everywhere.

"Chopper inbound." said Marksman

I ran through the building and we exit the building to see another a whole platoon of police officers. We immediately opened fired and killed every one of the cops.

"Get on that police truck!" yelled Ghost

I got on a bulky looking police truck with the others and we started to drive away from the distant echoes of gunshots.

"Kit, how's your shoulder?" asked Phantom

"I stopped the bleeding, I'll live." I replied

Javelin removes the bandaid and applies a clean new one onto it.

"Can't this shit go any faster?" asked Juggernaut

"It's an African police truck, what the hell do you expect?" asked Hacker

The truck jerks as something hits the side of the truck.

"Contact!" yelled Phantom, "Juggernaut get on that mounted RPD!"

"Where are we going?" asked Bomber

"I don't know!" replied Phantom, "We're just trying to get out of here for now!"

The truck shook violently and Javelin falls on top of me, everyone around me was trying to keep their balance.

"Javelin, you're crushing me." I groaned

"I'm trying to get off." said Javelin

She gets off but the truck turns violently, leaning the other way making me fall of my seat and onto Javelin. My face hits javelin's stomach as the truck turned.

I look at Javelin's eyes as they shot daggers at me. I immediately got off and tried to get back on my seat but something crashes into the truck and all of us fall backwards. Hacker falls on top of me knocking the wind out of my stomach. My wound started bleeding again because of the pressure Hacker was putting on me while on top of me.

The truck halts to a sudden stop launching us all forward again and I landed on top of Bomber. The truck entirely stopped and someone opens the back door. I look up to see Ghost outside with Marksman.

"What happened here?" asked Ghost

"No thanks to your driving skills." said Phantom

Her legs give out as she tried to stand up so Ghost carries her out of the truck.

"Get into these cars." said Marksman

He helps me up and we get into this jeep that looked like one of those tourist jeeps with no hood. There were two of them and they were both started and running.

"Your wound is bleeding again." said Marksman

"Don't worry, I'll live." I sighed

Javelin sits next to me with Marksman as our driver and Hacker in the passenger seat.

"Put on something to cover your eyes." said Marksman

I pull out the goggles I used to wear back then during the war. I also take out another pair for Javelin and hand it to her.

"Thanks." said Javelin

"Where are the Eldians?" asked Marksman

"They're closing on our position, we need to leave now." said Hacker

We sped off and we head into the desert. The sand blew with the wind as the jeeps sped away from the town.

"So where are we going?" asked Javelin

"We took our first step." said Marksman

"What is it?" I asked

"Apparently we know that Russia isn't behind this set up." replied Marksman

"Then who is?" asked Hacker

"We don't who yet." said Marksman

"Then what's our next step?" I asked

"We're going to have to talk to the retired members of the secret service." replied Marksman

"Ghost's foster parents?" asked Javelin

"Probably, but we want the director during that time." said Marksman

"But wasn't the director Ghost's biological father?" asked Hacker

"Yes, so we're going to have to go through his bio, his last mission and all that." said Marksman

I sit back back and close my eyes to take a nap but then a bullet hits the car door waking me up.

"Contact!" I yelled

I saw Sasha aim her sniper at me and my other shoulder gets a bullet.

"Kit!" yelled Javelin

"Why the fuck is it me again?" I groaned

"Fuck it, I'm killing one of them!" yelled Javelin

"Stop! Don't kill anyone, only wound them!" I stopped Javelin from killing anyone.

Javelin aimed her gun and shot the driver.

"I said not to kill him!" I yelled

"Relax, it's a shoulder hit!" yelled Javelin

The car chasing stopped moving but the other 3 cars were still after us. Javelin kept shooting the drivers in the car but we kept getting shot forcing Javelin to take cover while protecting my body.

"Shit!" yelled Marksman as he suddenly stepped on the brakes.

I look up to see that there were other cars in front of us and began to surround us.

"What are we supposed to do now?" asked Hacker

The Eldians began to get out of the cars and aimed their weapons at us.

"We have you surrounded! Surrender now or we will open fire!" yelled Levi

"Colonel, got a plan?" asked Marksman through the earpiece

"Let's just say this is going to be a lot more interesting." replied Ghost

I look around to see more cars approach us but it was the South African Police. Now we were entirely surrounded by two different forces.

"Sir, the African army is going to be here in 8 minutes, if we're going to act, we have to do it now." said Hacker through the earpiece.

"Get smokes and grenades ready." replied Ghost, "On my mark pull the smoke and wait for the order. After throwing the smoke throw the grenades at the the police not the Eldians."

Javelin takes out some smokes and grenades and hands the others to Marksman and Hacker secretly. I was laying on Javelin's lap as I applied another band aid onto my other shoulder.

The Eldians and the police were shouting at each other and trying to negotiate with each other. Armin was talking with the chief of the police who seemed pretty pissed about the situation.

"Once the grenades go off, get out of the car, switch to silenced pistol. Knock out the Eldians only in your path, but kill the police and take their cars." said Ghost

We waited and waited for Ghost's signal.

"Pull." said Ghost

Javelin pulls the pin and waits for Ghost's other command.

"Throw."

Javelin throws it into the air and it pops off midair. It lands near the cars and now we are surrounded by smoke. Then they quickly threw the grenades further into the smoke and it exploded, confusing the Eldians and the police.

"Go." ordered Ghost

Javelin helps me get out of the car and swings one of my arms around her neck and helps me walk. In the smoke we slowly crept through the smoke, making sure we don't give away our position. Connie comes into view but his back was towards us, so Javelin hits the bottom of her pistol at the back of Connie's head knocking him out. I saw a police officer so I quickly shot him in the head. We finally got to a police car and I entered with the same people and we drove off.

"Oh, that was a close call." I sighed

Javelin checks my wounds as we drove off.

"That was close." said Hacker

"Is anyone following us?" asked Marksman

"No, the smoke is still there." said Javelin

"Let's speed it up then." said Marksman

Marksman drives faster chasing after Ghost's car deeper into the desert.

Eren's POV

Everyone was silent in the car. After the failed attempt to capture Ghost team, Recon was pissed off even more not at us, but at Ghost.

"Tricky bastard." growled Recon

I kept my eyes on the road, trying to avoid contact with Recon.

"Extraction point 600 meters ETA 3 minutes." said Levi through the headset

I didn't know what to think, after all I tried to take it as if I'm doing the right thing. But now I doubting myself even more than ever. I don't know why I'm doubting even more but frankly I don't know why I'm doubting even more.

I stopped the car and then got off and at the extraction point were 2 choppers waiting for us. Other Eldian soldiers were there setting up a perimeter.

"Let's go." I sighed

Annie hugs my arm to comfort me.

"You did well." said Annie

"But we weren't able to capture them." I replied

"They're the best in the world, it's going to be hard to get them." said Annie

"I know." I sighed and hugged her back

"Stop making a scene." snapped Levi

"Yes sir." I replied

I really didn't want to let her go but I knew I had to.

"I don't have him anywhere." sighed Armin, "They're completely gone."

"They couldn't have gone far, why not just go after them?" asked Jean

"It's not on our ground. We'll cause a lot more trouble if we do." replied Hange

"Uhh Captain." called out Armin, "We have a problem."

"What?" asked Levi

"There's a village 3 miles up north. But it's completely destroyed." said Armin

"So?" asked Levi

"We don't know what destroyed it." replied Armin

"What do you mean we?" asked Hange

"Well Erwin and a platoon are already there and they want us to come to him." said Armin

"Okay, let's move then!" yelled Levi
