Ch.6

Roy remembered the 18-year-old kid that he saw in the cctv, making their way to this area.

Greenwoods. Where the kid got silent after three years. The case was about to be closed not until the recent incident with Timothy Green.

Based on the autopsy, Green was drugged before he was sliced with a scalpel on his chest and have his eyes scooped out.

Bryan Ward is a possible suspect as he was drinking with him right from when the victim and his girlfriend arrived the party, he admitted it himself and so did Merida as a witness that what he just stated was true.

And now with Jenny Morgan dead, the suspect are reduced from the nine.

The autopsy report was given to Roy a few days after he requested it from the forensics.

And this justified that the suspect is just the same from the previous cases. The wound on her throat, the weapon used to sliced her tongue and used to pierce her eyeballs out of her eye sockets was caused by a scalpel as well.

Time of death was announced around midnight based on the autopsy report as well. No one saw the crime and there are no cctvs as well, but there are nearby buildings that might possibly the place Jenny Morgan went before she died, maybe he can asked around the area.

Roy immediately stood up from his office chair, took the photograph of Jenny Morgan from his chart, took his coat and went out of his office, going straight to the area.

He looked around and notice that it wasn't that isolated, but at midnight, maybe only the café and this bar are the only one open, and so he went to see the bar first as it is nearer the alleyway Jenny died.

Roy went inside the bar and approached the caretaker–since it only opens at night, the caretaker must clean and fix the place up, "Excuse me, Detective here–" He showed his badge to him.

"I was wondering if you have some logs on who went inside this bar?" Roy asked as he put back his badge on his back pocket.

"For walk-ins I don't but for VIPs, I have." He said not even caring a bit.

"Well do you have some Jenny Morgan on the list? You must have known, since VIPs are hard to forget." Roy asked and sat on the stool.

"We don't have that name on the VIPs."

"This is her, did you atleast notice her?" Roy showed him her picture.

The caretaker looked at it closely and shook his head making Roy disappointed.

"Didn't notice her since I'm at the morning shift, but I'll ask someone who was there last night." He said and with that, the door to the staff's room opened.

"Hey I forgot something last night did you–Oh, I didn't know you have a guest." A young lad said when he looked at us.

"Speaking of the devil, this boy right here is on bartender duty, he might have seen her." The caretaker pointed to the boy with his thumb.

"I'm 20, technically not a kid for you to be calling a boy... so who're you looking for?" The technically-not-a-kid, said and approached Roy and took a look at the picture placed on the bar counter.

"Oh! It's Jenny Morgan from our college. She was a mess last night maybe because she was angry." This spark a light of hope in Roy's mind.

"You enter the same college with Timothy Green and Jenny Morgan?" He asked him while the caretaker went to continue his work and not minding the two.

"Yeah, the name's Martin Brown... on my second year of college. So what do you need Jenny Morgan for?" He asked clearly clueless of the earlier news.

"Why was she mad?" He asked not really answering Martin's questions.

As it is classified information.

"Probably because she's accusing Paris West that she killed Timothy Green but she just won't admit, it was a big news throughout the school." He shrugged.

"Why did she think that Paris West killed Timothy Green?" This piqued Roy's interest.

"I don't know the exact thought but there's a video about it. What's your social media account name? I'll tag you." He said catching Roy off guard.

"U-Uh... yeah, search for Roy Edward Adams." He said, he have a social media account but he only uses it for messages, so his account is basically empty.

"Is this you?" He asked showing Roy the screen of his phone with searches of his name.

"This..." He clicked the profile.

Martin didn't even said anything maybe because he just realized that he's talking to the detective who's solving the murder case of Timothy Green.

Martin wasn't at that party, he never wanted to socialize as he's focusing on his studies, and he doesn't want to be involved with anyone that are included in the chain of popularity at school, so he just avoids anyone who needs to be avoided.

"There, already done." Martin said and left Roy to approach the caretaker.

Maybe about the thing he forgot last night.

Roy decided to watch the video.

"I saw your silhouette! You have middle length hair! I heard you moaning and whispering to Tim!" Jenny Morgan shouted at Paris West from the video.

"Anyone here could have such hair you dumb bit–" She replied but Roy was interested at what he heard earlier.

"I saw your silhouette! You have middle length hair! I–"

He reached a conclusion that maybe Jenny was killed because of this certain statement. The murderer was probably disappointed with their selves because someone saw them, but it was just a theory. Since Paris might not be the murderer and just went and jumped on top of Timothy that night.

But for Roy, it's a great progress. He'll just need evidences that Paris really is the murderer.

"Thank you for your time Sir, Martin." Roy bid and left the place to go back to his office and contact Paris West for interrogation.

"No problem Detective." The caretaker said not even removing his eyes off of the table.

"That was a detective?!"
