Island X(1)

Lu Qian was silent for a while.

"It's not that simple....but why do you need such a thing?"

Hua Ruolan bit her her lips . Since she was asking him for something important, she needed to tell him

"Mu Feng killed my friend's sister so I want to help her out him in jail." Lu Qian observed her. He figured out that it was more than helping someone, it seemed personal to her, too personal.

"You want to help your friend put Mu Feng in jail.... that's understandable, but why do I feel that there's more to it" Lu Qian asked.

Hua Ruolan pressed her lips together as she looked at him. He could see through her already.

She didn't want to tell him that she was putting Mu Feng in prison because he wanted to ruin her. She didn't know how he'd take it. But since he's already asking, why not tell him everything.

Hua Ruolan sighed and said

"Mu Feng, Ye Ruoshi, Wang Fang and Hua Er Bao are trying to ruin me" Hua Ruolan answered.

Lu Qian was confused.

"Ruin you?...how?"

"Wang Fang wants Hua Corporation, so she told Mu Feng to get married to me so that I can sign everything to her name, meanwhile, Mu Feng is dating Ye Ruoshi behind my back and...." Hua Ruolan paused.

"And what?" Lu Qian asked.

"Er Bao wants you and I can't let that happen" Hua Ruolan answered but she was more surprised at Lu Qian's reaction which was no reaction at all. It seemed like he knew Hua Er Bao was into him a long time ago.

"So what are you going to do to Er Bao?" Lu Qian asked.

Hua Ruolan looked at him.

Seriously, was that the only part he heard?

"I don't know yet...but I definitely won't spare her" Hua Ruolan answered.

Lu Qian's lips curved into a beautiful smile.

"Why...why are you smiling?" Hua Ruolan asked.

"It's nice to know that my wife will fight for me."

Lu Qian answered made Hua Ruolan blush so much that her ears turned red. Lu Qian laughed as he started reading her. Hua Ruolan punched his chest and tried to get him to stop but he continued teasing her. She had no choice but to bury her head in his neck.

"Ok... I'll stop" Lu Qian said. Hua Ruolan raised up her head.

"Come on...let's go"

"Go where?" Hua Ruolan asked.

"To get you the truth serum" Lu Qian answered.

Few minutes later, they arrived at the airport

"So where are we going" Hua Ruolan asked.

"Island X" Lu Qian answered as he held her hands and climbed the private jet.

Inside the plane, Hua Ruolan sat down beside Lu Qian.

"Island X, where is that?" Hua Ruolan asked again.

"In the middle of nowhere" Lu Qian answered.

Confusion was written all over Hua Ruolan's face. If there was an island in the middle of nowhere, how come he knew about it?.
