A Favor
Upon allowing Roy into the house, Adam filled him in on the situation.
"Keh… Kekeke… Pfft! Bahahaha! You've gotta be kidding me!" [Roy]
Slapping the table in the living room, Roy burst out laughing.
"I-I can't breathe! Ahahaha! No way! There's just no way!" [Roy]
The slapping turned into slamming, which began to annoy Adam.
"Not only did you get into a kid's fight, you almost lost?! Gahahaha!" [Roy]
As if he tripped over something invisible, Roy fell to the floor laughing.
"...This is why no one likes you." [Adam]
Lowering his voice, Adam spoke under his breath.
"Hahahaha- Ack! My stomach!" [Roy]
Wheezing on the floor, Roy attempted to calm himself.
"Hoo… Calm down… Hehe… " [Roy]
After a minute of silence, Roy managed to stop laughing.
"Okay, so basically, you want me to heal you guys?" [Roy]
"...Yeah." [Adam]
"Uh-huh…" [Roy]
Crossing his arms, Roy gave Adam a puzzled look.
"You do realize my ability is Acceleration right? Not healing." [Roy]
"But you can Accelerate the healing process right? You did it for me." [Adam]
"Eh…" [Roy]
He made an annoyed look and placed himself on a nearby chair.
"That's really tiring you know…" [Roy]
"...Please? I just need you to heal Felix and Orion, that's all." [Adam]
"That's all?" [Roy]
He questioned Adam with a raised brow.
"What about you? Don't you need a little bit of healing?" [Roy]
"I don't." [Adam]
"Is that so?" [Roy]
He stood up and motioned to the couch.
"Go on then. Put Felix and uh… Orion, is it? Your friend? On the couch too." [Roy]
"Right away." [Adam]
Seeing as Roy was actually going along with him for once, Adam quickly grabbed Orion and Felix before Roy could change his mind.
"There. Is that all you need?" [Adam]
"Mhm. Ah, but before I do this, can you make me a drink?" [Roy]
"Uh… sure. What do you want?" [Adam]
"Get me a bottle of Coco Colo. I'm craving something fizzy." [Roy]
"…Understood." [Adam]
Heeding his command, Adam went to the kitchen.
"I can't believe you're letting Roy walk all over you like this." [Krino]
("It's for FelIx and Orion.") [Adam]
As he reached into the fridge, Adam could see Roy placing a hand on Orion and Felix out of the corner of his eye.
"Accelerate." [Roy]
As soon as the word exited his mouth, the bruises and cuts on Adam's friends began to vanish. Within only a few moments, Roy had made it seem like the injuries were never there in the first place.
"Phew… All done." [Roy]
"Here's your Coco Colo." [Adam]
Arriving after Roy had finished, Adam handed him a glass bottle containing a strangely dark liquid.
"Ah, just what I needed." [Roy]
He stood up and took the bottle out of Adam's hand, patting his shoulder while he was at it.
"Huh?" [Adam]
Suddenly, Adam felt lighter. Glancing at Roy with surprise, Adam quickly took off some of his bandages.
"My wounds… You healed them?" [Adam]
"Just think of it as owing me a favor." [Roy]
Giving Adam a thumbs up, Roy downed his bottle of Coco Colo in an instant.
"Ah… That hits the spot." [Roy]
After receiving Roy's generosity, Adam wasn't sure what to say.
"Roy, I…" [Adam]
"Don't worry about it. My favor will come soon." [Roy]
Waving it off, Roy slapped Felix and Orion's face lightly.
"Wakey wakey, it's time for school~." [Roy]
The moment he said that, Felix's eyes shot wide open. Orion, on the other hand, seemed to turn over with a look of discomfort.
"School?!" [Felix]
He sat upright, only to wear disappointment on his face as soon as he saw Roy.
"...The hell are you doing here?" [Felix]
Roy looked at Felix, then at Adam. It was at that time, a mischievous smile appeared on Roy's face.
