Devil's Eyes

"I should leave because it's apparent that she isn't comfortable talking in my presence." Isabella stood up from the table and picked up her phone. "We can work on our plan latter."

"No, it's fine you can…" Xavier started but Natalie cut him off.

"The one who would be leaving is me." She stood up from the chair as well, giving Isabella a blank expression. "I have some work to do so I don't know if I would be able to help you two in this anymore. I am sorry." She glanced in Xavier's direction and then left without giving any of them a chance to say anything.

Isabella kept staring at her back until she disappeared around the chocolate brown walls of the Cafe. She had seen that girl like this for the very first time and even though she hated to admit it, she was kind of worried for her.

"Is she okay? Is it something related to her past?" She asked Xavier but didn't make any move to sit back.
