Arv Dungeon

While the party waited for their four days, they all attended to their own things.

Tomoe spent most of her time meditating and maintaining her spears. The wind rustled against the bright pink leaves that her guild had planted and it made each time she sharpened or shined her spears stand out. She had decided to relax and those routines felt like a source of serenity to her. One could say she had the most peaceful four days.

Tecia on the first day had spent an entire day doing various things in a tavern. She had drinking competitions, in which she surprisingly dominated against men double her size. Eventually, they had moved on to contests of strengths, where her Pugilist training had shined. She dominated every man in the tavern in an arm wrestle. However, by the time she had gone to sleep, she had been so intoxicated, that Tecia woke up feeling like she was at death's door. Her hangover was so severe it took her the rest of the three days to recover. It normally would have taken less time, but she went down to the pub and got drunk again.

Arwin spent his four days training his skills. Every day he went just outside the city to his own mini training grounds full of targets and drills. He would train his aim and power with his bow till late afternoon. Even then, he still practiced his one-handed hunter knife martial art and made sure to never go rusty. His days were quite productive.

However, Leon spent his days the most uniquely out of the four. He decided to not rest and in fact, did the opposite. Leon power leveled in the forest by hunting the Goblins that were scattered in the forest. The sight of blue blood splattering everywhere became a normal sight for him. During the entire time, he mostly used Ensis for his battles. While Leon seemed crazy whenever he talked to the occasional Goblin, he in fact was attempting to figure out his unheard-of ability of being able to understand some of what monsters said, this eventually raised his last level one passive skill to two. Although he gained very little exp, his level had increased in the end by the time the day the party would meet came.

As Leon headed towards the fountain near the middle of the city, he pulled up his stats with an approving nod.

When he had invested his unused skill points, Leon had spent an hour of thought on the subject. His combat style resembled the more unique and powerful class of magic swordsman.

Magic swordsman used their powerful spells to combine with their art of swordsmanship, thus balancing their attack between spell and sword. Since the class itself was quite powerful, many people had sought out the class that could improve the poorest man's situation to become a powerful knight of any kingdom. The class itself coupled with its power and uniqueness made any person who had the class, instantly become sought out by kingdoms and high-tiered guilds.

Since Leon decided to take this path, for now, he had spent a lot to upgrade his mana reserves for the continuous use of his spells in the case of a prolonged and drawn-out fight.

By the time he finished analyzing his thoughts, Leon had come into the view of the fountain huddled by three young adventurers who sat on the edge of the fountain.

Leon gave a beaming smile and a rosy-colored pierced his cheeks as he thought about the upcoming adventure.

"Alright, party mates, who are as excited as me for this quest?!"

They all saw how the prospect of adventure had affected him and Tecia spoke while holding back laughter realizing Leon's reactions to Adventures.

"I don't think anyone can be as excited as you, you addicted Adventurer."

Leon ignored Tecia while giving her a look as if to tell her to mind her own business.

"Let's set off, the journey to the dungeon is quite a boring one and I can't wait any longer to get there."

As they all started to depart, Tomoe the final one who got up sensed something off about Leon's aura. Since her senses had been heightened to the point of being a powerful asset by themselves, she could sense the almost slight changes that Leon's aura produced. It was almost like a soft wind was always present near Leon, especially the sword he carried. Tomoe thought about this and the fact that Leon felt abnormally stronger for only a four-day difference.

However she stashed her thoughts, she started to jog while carrying her spears on her back and yelled with a fake whine.

"Don't leave me you heartless monsters, you wouldn't abandon a blind woman would you?"

Tecia snorted

"Hmph, poor blind woman my ass. I don't know how you do it, but your method of moving around and gathering information with your senses already surpasses all five of my senses combined and multiplied."

This sort of banter and joking had kept the group entertained as they started their journey to the Arv dungeon.

The party encountered a few small-level monsters like the Goblins of the forest outside Verin and had no problem slaughtering any that attempted to bother them. The journey to the Dungeon was relatively uneventful, except for the unique personalities of his party members, that Leon got to enjoy.

The Arv Dungeon was located a few day's worths of travel from Verin when you headed towards the border of the Kingdom of Partha. The dungeon had never been officially vanquished since there had never been a leak of monsters from the dungeon itself. However, the dungeon was free to explore always as long as a group of E Tier Adventurers accepted the quest. People powerful enough to reach the boss room of the dungeon generally tended not to go to such a low-level dungeon even though the boss would offer rewards and drops found at the boss room. Since it was generally neglected, no one knew the exact levels of the boss or even the lower floors. Rumors among low-level adventurers said they could be only D Tier at best since the dungeon on the higher levels contained higher power E Tier monsters, which were quite stronger compared to the lowest E Tier monsters of Goblins.

Eventually, Leon and his party walked within the visual distance of the huge gates that announced the dungeon to the outside world. They all started to jog in excitement since they did not receive interesting jobs as F Tier's and most had not promoted to E Tier due to various reasons.

As Leon was within a dash's distance of the dungeon doors, he smiled with a bit of pleasure on his face.

'Even though it is only the Arv Dungeon, it is my first Dungeon regardless I can't wait for my new adventure.'
