A Deal

I looked at Sairaorg in surprise because he lowers his head to me. While I know that Sairaorg is looked down upon by the other pureblood young devil for he did not have the power of destruction, he is still an heir to one of the most powerful clans in the underworld.

"Please raise your head. It was nothing. I'm glad the potion we sell to you successfully cure your mother."

"Yes! If there is something I can do to pay you back, I will do it!"

"The only thing I want you to do is to protect your mother and your peerage. You see, we, the people of Faysummit, greatly take care of our family, so I was hoping you could care for your family. Can you do that?"

"Of course!"

"Then you don't need to repay me. You already pay me in full."

I see him smile at me before sitting down next to Serafall. Seeing him sit down, I look at Serafall once again.

"After all that finished, now we can go back to business."

I raise my eyebrow a little bit when Serafall takes out a few documents from her pocket.

"The reason why we are here is to offer another Trade Agreement between the Devil races and Vongola family."

I raise my eyebrow a little higher and say.

"You know the reason why we canceled the trade agreement in the first place, right?"

"Yes."

"Then, why? Your merchant looks down on us because we are just a lowly human and also think that our goods have a lower quality than their product. While I'm not a merchant myself, I know good products when I see one. While I admit some of them are good, but seventy percent of their goods is subpar compared to what we sold to them."

"I know."

"Then, why? While I respect you for your title as one of Satan, I did not want to disappoint my people for my choice. Heck, the merchant from Greece even over us five times more money than your merchant offered to us."

"..."

"Can you tell me the real reason, please? I know you come here for something other than a profit. Can you tell us what it is?"

I continue to stare at Serafall for a minute as the entire room begins to become tense; the longer Serafall keeps her silent. When she was about to answer my question, Sairaorg beat her to it.

"We have a pandemic in the Underworld."

"Oh? Please continue."

"Not too long ago, many of our citizens became comatose because of a disease. It was the same disease my mother had before she woke up from her coma. The reason why we are here is to buy many of your options for our citizens, and the only potion that can cure this disease is your potion. That is why please let us buy your potion! I beg you!"

Should I do it? While I want to help them, but I don't wish to the devil that comes to Faysummit and harasses its people and even makes an attempt to kidnap one of them. I scratch my head after thinking about it for a minute before looking at Serafall and saying.

"I will sell our potion with your races, but I want a few conditions before you can buy our potions."

"Of course. Thank you"

"The first condition. There will be no more harassment, be it Physical or Psychological harassment. If we found a devil that did that, we would send them back to the underworld. Either unharmed or half dead."

"I will agree to that, but I want evidence first. If you don't have any evidence, we will not be happy."

"Fair enough. The second condition, I want your merchant to make a fair trade. We will send you a warning if we find a merchant that sold us a sub-par or even broken good. If they keep doing that five times, we will cancel the trade agreement."

"... Very well. I will send them a warning."

"Good. The last one, I want some of your books about magic. Low to Mid-tier should be enough."

"Magic book. You mean grimoire?"

"Yes. While I'm not hoping to learn High-level spells, I want to learn some of the Low and Mid-tier level spells you guys have."

"... We can't just give you the grimoire…"

"No. I want to trade the potion with the grimoire. The more spell inside that book, the more potion we will give you. Of course, each level of the spell will be at a different price."

"How much spell list you want for one potion."

"Twenty Five Low tier, Fifteen Mid Tier, and One High Tier."

"20-7-1"

"24-14-1"

"21-8-1"

"23-13-1"

Hearing the last offering, Serafall became silent for a second and thought about my offer a few seconds later, she says.

"I can only promise you 22 Low Tier spells for one potion, 11 Mid Tier spell for one potion, and One High Tier for one potion price."

"I see. I guess I will accept that offer."

"Then, will you sign the Trade Agreement with us?"

"Of course."

After signing the trade agreement between the Vongola family and the Devil race, Serafall and Sairaorg decide to stay for a moment and enjoy the tea I make. While we are drinking our tea, Sairaorg suddenly said.

"Excuse me, Lord Vongola…"

"Call me, Lexian, please."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Then please call me Sairaorg."

"So, what do you want to ask me?"

"I hear that you are a fighter, is it true?"

"Hmmm, I won't call myself a fighter, but I know how to fight. If you want to have a friendly match, then you should ask my guardian."

"Can I?!?"

"Sure…"

I look at my guardian and say.

"You guys want to have a friendly fight with Sairaorg here?"

"I must decline, My Lord."

"Hell Yeah!"

"I'm not a fighter Lexian."

"Hmmm, I think I want to fight him, My Lord."

"Of course, Dattebane!"

Three out of five. Modred, Kushina, and Carol.

"Well. You three should decide it yourself, who is the one fight him."

They then decide to do a Rock-Paper-Scissors. In the end, Mordred beat them with paper while the other two choose rock.

"Well, Sairaorg, your sparring partner for today is Mo-chan."

"Don't call me Mo-chan!"

Sairaorg looks at Mordred before cupping his hand and says.

"Please take care of me, Mo-dono."

"You guys… Haaaa. Come on, big guy! We have a perfect place for our match!"

*Serafall POV*

I don't know how to feel about this situation. Originally I wanted to come to Faysummit alone and negotiate with Lexian about our situation, but Ajuka came to me and said.

"Forty-seven-point-eight-nine-percent the negotiation will not succeed if you go alone. A ninety-seven-point-nine-nine-percent chance you will succeed when you bring Sairaorg Bael with you."

Just like all his predictions, Ajuka is correct about the outcome. When Lexian hears the young Lion speech, he immediately agrees to sign the trade agreement. As for the condition, I'm surprised that he did not demand a higher price from us even after knowing that our merchant tried to fool him with sub-par goods. Not only that, but he also did not ask the punishment of the former delegation we sent to Faysummit. I'm grateful for his trust in me for the punishment of that man. If only I change his punishment into a death sentence. Sadly that bast*rd has many connections with the head of the 72 pillar clan.

While I'm not like Ajuka meddling in my job, I let him do it because this job involves many lives of our people. If I fail in this job, then all our hard work to repopulate our kind is back to zero, and even worse, we have a chance that this pandemic will continue spreading to all underworld. What makes me more annoyed with this disease is that it only targets a devil and no one else.

I snap from my thoughts when we arrive at our destination. We are in the basement area of the castle, and when we stopped at the first door after setting foot in the basement. When Lexian opens up the door, I can see a spacious place. The feeling of this room is the same as the Rating game arena we used, but instead of borrowing a section of Dimensional Gap, they create their dimension. The only one that can make this place is…

"Dwarf or an Elf"

"Hah! As expected of Satan, not only are you strong, you are also a smart woman."

I blush a little at his compliment.

"Yes, this place is created by a group of Dwarf and a group of Elf."

"If you didn't mind me asking, what is the reason they created this place?"

"Of course, this place is created because they always fight at each other. The first time they meet at the city square, they almost destroy a portion of the city. They continue to fight every time they meet, so I say that they will fight in this place if they want to fight each other. However, the dwarf who saw this place said that the place is too small for their fight, and the elf said that the barrier is not good enough to hold them if they want to go all out. So they created this place. Honestly, I don't know how to feel about them. They hate each other, but when they have something to do, they will work together as a brother in arms. They are weird."

That is Dwarf and Elf to you. The legendary tool crafter races, and the Legendary spell crafter races. While they are going to the other world (I still think it was a pocket dimension they created) because of how the human world is changing, there is another reason why they are gone. They are fed up with the other race that tries to use them and their creation to attack their territory. Not only that, but they also fed up with the other race trying to marry their son to either Dwarf or Elf race in the hope that their offspring will have a talent in either tool crafting or spell crafting.

So, seeing the work of Dwarf and Elf after a long time is very surprising. With this, I also confirm that there are a dwarf and elf in this city. How much do they help the Vongola family? Do they have a secret weapon to annihilate the other race? Just how strong is the barrier around the Faysummit? All those questions pop up in my head. I know that I should not think about that as they are kind people as far as I know, but I couldn't help it.

In the end, I bury my fear inside my heart and look at Sairaorg, who is ready to fight Lexian guardian, Mo-chan.
