It was ten when I got home,jet lagged and sleepy since I didn't have much sleep on the plane. 


The first thing I did when I got home was to go straight to Ryan's room. I quietly pushed the door open and tiptoed my way towards the sleeping boy and kissed his forehead whispering goodnight to him. 


"Dad..." He startled me when his eyes blinked open, "Your back.."


"Yeah,I just came in," I whispered back. I could see him smile thanks to the moonlight filtering into the room through the curtains. "You should get some sleep, you have school tomorrow,"


"Okay ," He adjusted himself and whispered, "Goodnight " While shutting his eyes.
