*I started a new story and I'm up to 8 chapters. It's on patreòn right now. It's called I'm Voldemort (MCU Xover). At least that's the name for now. It may change later idk. I'm sure you can guess what it's about based on the name. It will be uploaded on Webnovel once I have enough words to be in the rankings.*
(A/N: Want to read ahead of what I've posted so far? Go to my patreòn and get early access chapters.

While me, Aella, Rem, and my other servants had dinner that night, Souei told me the scarred assassin left his safe house. I had Souei send some clones to search the place and look for any clues as to who this guy works for. I made sure to have him put everything back where he found down to the smallest hairs. We don't need small acts of carelessness tipping him off. Which would in turn tip his employers off as well.
While the Souei clone was searching the guy's house, the rest of us including the original Souei are eating some garlic and butter pasta with shrimp and fresh warm bread. Schniezel has been expanding the pallets of the people of Ephia lately. I told him to send some teams of people to search for different food sources. The more diversity in our food sources, the less likely a famine could cripple the Duchy. If one food source were to run out somehow, we'll have others to fall back on. This world's people don't have a very wide pallet and haven't discovered many different food sources.
They just recently brought back different types of fish that were considered non-edible. After some testing back in Ephia, most of the fish were seen, as a viable food source. One of those foods, if it's not already clear, is shrimp. When I heard of this, I sent Souei to get me some for me to cook. The bread was made by the chefs in the palace though. I can't take any credit for that. I look forward to seeing what else they find in their exploration and testing of different foods.
Once we finished eating, Aella retired to her quarters. Before she left, I scheduled a date with her. I made sure not to leave Rem out and scheduled a separate one with her as well. A few moments after she left, Souei's clone arrived and gave me a report on what he found. Which wasn't much because he seemed to only be sleeping there. No hidden papers or other things that would give anything were found. He did have a sizable amount of money saved up. Who knows if that's just for emergencies or for some plan that requires capital. Not even a paper with this guy's name written on it was found.
The other clone that is with the assassin is reporting telepathically through Souei, so I'm getting real-time reports on where he's going and what he's doing. later that night, Souei told me that the spy was entering Armads residence. He must be going to lock in the deal he made, and fulfill his promises.
POV Armad
Ever since I returned home, my mother has been babying me constantly. She kept coming to check on me constantly and looking at me with so much pity. I felt like I would explode if she kept staring at me like that. Thank god that she had to sleep or else I may have said something I would regret.
Throughout the day, I couldn't help but think about the man that visited me. He offered to heal me, give me power, and somehow help me with the woman I love. Was it a good idea to make a deal with that man? Why did I agree so easily in the first place? These thoughts circled my mind and clouded my thoughts. When I was finally left alone after a long and tiring day, I was left bedridden and alone in my room.
After some time in my own thoughts, I was finally able to clear my mind a fall asleep. As I was drifting off to sleep, my window opened and in comes the person that I met last night. I still couldn't tell if it is a man or a woman, but I know for sure that they're dangerous.
"Hello again, Armad." He or she says in an unrecognizable voice and walks to my bedside. "Hmm, not having second thoughts, are we?"
"N-no, It's just that I don't even know what you look like, yet I made a deal with you so easily." I say trying to defend myself.
"Oh, there's no need to worry. I'm here to help and you will help me in return, remember?" The masked person says as their voice soothes me.
"Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry for acting weird before. I don't know what came over me." I say with a smile on my bandaged face.
"Good, so our deal is still in place then?" The masked person said and I nod in reply. "Then I'll make good on my first two promise to heal you and give you power, but in order for that to happen, you have to pray to the god of light R'hllor."
Alarm bells started ringing in my head, but before I could respond, he or she started talking again.
"You don't have to be afraid of R'hllor. He's a kind and gentle god, even to impure beings with animal blood such as yourself." The assassin said as their voice soothes my soul.
"I don't have to be afraid?" I say as my eyes start to glaze over a bit.
"Of course not. Although you must repent for your dirty blood and offer yourself up to him. He won't recognize you unless you repent." The masked person says and I nod along with every word.
"I have to repent." I say as the person in black looms over me.
"Yes, good. I'm going to write down the prayer you'll say to R'hllor, but you'll have to make a sacrifice as you recite it." The assassin says menacingly.
"Sacrifice? What should I sacrifice?" I ask, needing to know.
"Oh, nothing too important."
