Ella

Ellie explained to Ella what she had saw. "You need a therapist." Ella said grabbing a study book out of her bag. "I didn't know we would be studying." Ellie commented looking away. "Well if your ok with failure then you don't have to."

The other girl sighed and picked up her study books. The girls studied for a while until they could barley keep there eyes open. "Let's stop for the night." Ellie said closing the book. Ella sighed and grabbed a brown knitted blanket beside her before cozying her self on the couch, laying her head on the arm rest.

Ellie bounced up from the couch, warily making her way to her bed room to grab some more blankets and a pillow. She grabbed a fuzzy blanket off her bed and her green pillow, before going back to the living room where her best friend had already entered slumber.

She lays down on the couch snuggling up to her best friend. She closed her eyes laying still trying to fall asleep. Images of dead people flash threw Ellie's mind keeping her from sleeping.

A cold breeze washed over her as if something unwelcome company was lingering near her. She shook off that feeling trying to make herself feel better.

Ellie knew it wasn't normal for her to see seeing things within the last few days but she was sure it was only visions considering it was only her that saw them.

Interestingly speaking, the last vision she had encountered, the boy hanging from the rope suspiciously looked familiar. As if she had seen that boy before. Only if you where to take the rope burn off his neck and the blue tint to his skin.

She had come to the conclusion she couldn't sleep, so Ellie got off the couch and headed to the kitchen. She opened the brown old door that made a creaking sound while opening. She looked around from the door frame and examined everything. The tan cabinets, the tile floor, the white one door fridge, and the white countertop.

She made her way to the fridge opening it. There wasn't much except frozen dinners and uncooked hotdogs. She closed the fridge and went to get her coat. She was just going to have to get some food somewhere else.

She quietly crept the her coat that was in the corner of the room. She put on her shoes and coat before leaving, carful not to wake her friend.

She walked the streets passing people as she went. A scent of ham burgers filled her nose. She followed the scent to a small restaurant on the right side of the street.

"Could I get a burger with ketchup and lettuce please." Ellie spoke to the girl at the counter. "Is that all miss?" The girl who's name card read Gabby. "Yes."

"Ok that will be $3.99, could I have a name for your order?"

"Ellie."

"Ok your order will be ready soon."

Ellie walked to the side where only 2 other people were standing and waiting for their order, one of those people being the boy she saw in the elevator.

"Jackson." The lady called out. The elevator boy, or Jackson, took his burger that was wrapped in a type of paper in the pocket of his hoodie and headed towards the door, putting his hood up before exiting the small eating joint.

She watched as his tall figure made his way down the dark street, looking at the ground. As if someone was looking for him and he didn't want to be found. Maybe a criminal?

"Ellie."

Ellie looked to the lady at the counter holding her wrapped burger waiting for her.

Ellie made her way to the lady thanking her before leaving and heading back to her apartment.

When she got back she opened the door and entered her dark home. She took one last bite of her half eaten burger and went to the kitchen to save the rest tomorrow. She tossed it in the fridge when she saw a man.

He was taking a cake out of the oven. He turned around to face her having a frail smile on his face.

BOOM

BOOM

BOOM

A bullet when right threw his head.

He stood there still slightly smiling at her except this time it was chilling. Blood poured down his face but he was still standing there not moving and still holding the cake in his hands.

But this time she wasn't surprised. Only when something freaky is gonna happen is when someone randomly shows up in her house. Yeah, she was frightened, but not as much as she was before. As this time she was prepared for something.

He made a step towards her which made her step back. He kept stepping and she kept moving away eventually meeting the counter. He opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out.

Her eyes where wide starring into his dark ones. He was close enough to touch her but at least a foot away. The dead boy squinted at her before disappearing into thin air.

Ellie sighed and went back to the couch. She laid down with Ella, falling asleep with no trouble.

The next morning Ellie woke up next to her friend who was still asleep. Ellie got up to get dressed and ready for the day. After she was done she made it back to beside her friend shaking her. "Ella! Ella!" She whisper yelled while shaking her lightly. "Wake up!"

A blanket was covering Mariella's head and body so she could only see the lump under the thick blanket. Ellie had had enough waiting so she yanked the blanket off her friend's body.

Oh and she wished she hadn't.

Ella laid there, not breathing with her eyes open, and a knife stuck out of her side. Ella's face was the face of fear.

Ellie felt herself getting sick. She hurried to the bathroom just making it to the toilet before she stated throwing up all that was in her. She gagged one last time before flushing the toilet. She sat on the ground in her bathroom realizing what was happening.

Ellie started sobbing. Her best friend had just died. She had known Ella since she started Kindergarten and made it all the way to college together. They had planed to have their kids become friends and they would grow old together.

But now, all that is ruined.

Ellie sobbed and sobbed not being able to breathe anymore. She lays down on the cold floor of the bathroom and just stayed there. Skipping school and everything.

It was around 7:12 when she had stopped crying. She needed to get to the bottom of all this. On top of it all she needed to do it for Ella.
