Percy's POV
Percy should have known that once she stepped on the surface world, monsters would find her and hunt her down. Through the meeting, she could at least felt the presence of two monsters lurking outside the building. And with the superheroes hiding in the shadow watching her every move, she couldn't excuse herself to take care of the monsters without raising any suspicion.
After the assembly, she ran for the lest crowed place in WashingtonDC, the park. She stopped abruptly, in front of her three hellhounds and two Empousa stepped out of the shadow. Percy groaned in annoyance, demigod luck really sucks.
"Let's get this over with, shall we?"
Percy uncapped Riptide and lugged at the monsters.

Poseidon's Palace
"You want me to what?!" Percy demanded, looking incredulously at her father.
"I want you to join the team of superheroes," Poseidon answered, smiling at his daughter.
"You need friends. Besides, I know you can't stand still, fighting is in your blood. It has always been."
Percy gapped at her father, not knowing what to say. Poseidon smiled again and hugged his daughter who still has not recovered from her shock.
"So would you do it, my little sea star?" Percy pondered on this. But she is afraid.
"I want to, dad, but what if I let them down again?" Percy's eyes became misty again, the thoughts of her six friends' dying face flashed through her mind.
"You won't, have faith in yourself. Use the blessings you received to the fullest." Poseidon answered and swam towards the throne room.
"I have to go now, Percy. I'll let Diana and Orin know that you are coming two days from now and also Hephaestus had personally made your suit, so don't worry about it. Have fun my little sea star." Percy sighed and drifted towards her room. She is going to IM Nico and Thalia about this, she needs her two goth and sarcastic cousins to cheer her up.
