Dylan's Point Of View
I pushed everything off my desk and threw the glass bowl full of fruit at the wall, screaming in frustration.
"Dylan!" My boss shouted. "Get a hold of yourself!"
"Why the hell would Lyla be kidnapped?!" I turned my anger on my boss.
"Criminals work in strange ways." My boss sighed, leaning against his desk.
I crossed my arms and paced back and forth, glaring at the ground as I tried to think.
It's those damn hybrids. Someone must have found out about them and wanted them for themself. When they got there, Lyla was with them and they took her too.
Whoever did this is good and rich. The only thing they left was a scent of smoke which they probably used to distract or blind them. They had to be fast too. The police were notified pretty quickly.
I'll have to look again and see if there was anything left.

I stood up from the ground, holding the small vial with a drop of clear liquid still inside. Splattered on the outside was blood.
"Looks like they weren't smart enough." I smiled to myself.

Jameson's Point Of View
I shook in the corner of my cell, watching with wide eyes and my hands clamped over my ears.
"E-Elisa." I whispered, tears falling down my face.
"Stop! You're killing her!" Sammi pounded her fists against her cell.
"Hurt me instead! Please stop! Don't hurt her anymore!" Nalla begged, watching the scene in front of her uselessly.
Daniel let go of Elisa's throat and watched her fall to the ground.
"Not so strong now, huh Kitty?" Daniel kicked Elisa causing blood to shoot out of her mouth.
Elisa managed to get her claws out and aimed a weak slash towards Daniel.
"Oh ho." Daniel chuckled, smiling back at his companion. "Should I cut off another ear?" Daniel threatened, twirling his knife.
My heart feels like it's going to burst.
"Stop!" I screamed.

Lyla's Point Of View
"Where am I really?" I mumbled as I glanced around the corner, finding the white hallway to be empty.
I began to walk down it. They must be in one of these rooms, they have to be.
"Thank you." I told the sign above a door that read 'Hybrids'.
I typed 6301 into the keypad, it was written all over the notebook.
The keypad flashed green for a second and then the sound of an unlocking lock filled my ears.
"If you are here to torture Elisa again, take me instead." Ben's voice paused. "Please."
"Torture?" I gasped in disbelief.
"Lyla?" Several voices asked hopefully.
I shut the door behind me and flicked on the lights.
"Oh my gosh." I ran over to Elisa, she caught my attention the most. "Elisa, baby, come here."
TaehyElisaung crawled towards me on the floor. "Hi Sprinkles." She managed to smile as she leaned her bloodied head on the wall separating us.
Tears fell from my cheeks as she said my nickname she had given me only yesterday. I had spilled the sprinkles all on the floor.
"They tortured you?" I whimpered, touching the side of her face with my fingertips.
Elisa nodded once. "I'm okay, go check on the others." Elisa managed to smile, blood glistening off her teeth.
"Lyla." Peter breathed as I stood up, feeling his fingers through the cage.
"I'm so sorry." I sobbed, leaning my head on the wall. "I should've protected you guys." I turned to Nick. "I promised you that I wouldn't let anyone hurt you anymore. I broke that promise." I cried, watching the broken boy as a tear fell from his face, his hands clenching the holes.
The door swung open and Daniel blocked the doorway.
I spun towards him, my mouth open, shocked.
"No!" Sammi shouted as Daniel took a step towards me.
I backed up against the back wall, closest to Elisa.
"I thought I told you that we are the good guys?" Daniel smiled as he took another step forward. I could barely hear him through the boys banging on their cages. "Why did you have to snoop?"
Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Elisa's eyes begin to glow yellow.
"No." I whispered, placing my hand against her cage.
She looked up at me with a confused face.
"It's going to be okay."
Elisa placed her hand against mine, the yellow slowly fading.
A familiar sharp pain stabbed my neck as my vision went blurry once more.
Elisa's jaw dropped and the yellow came back.
I smiled reassuringly at him and whispered. "It's okay." I fell forward, and Daniel caught me.

Dylan's Point Of View
"Who's blood is this?" I asked myself when the only thing that came up was classified files.
I smirked, remembering that I was obsessed with hacking things when I was younger.
After trying for a few minutes, a single name flashed on my computer screen.
Sammi - Cat
"H-how do they know?" When I read 'cat.'
Then everything began flashing and viruses popped up on my screen.
I widened my eyes before pulling the cord, everything going black.
"Timeless?" I leaned back in my chair, the information's sender was the last thing I could read.

Lyla's Point Of View
I glared at Daniel, trying to escape my bounds that tied me to the chair. "Let me go." I demanded, watching him pace back and forth.
"How did you get control of the seven hybrids, especially the two cats and dog?" Daniel stopped in front of me.
"I'm not telling you anything." I flare my nose, twisting my wrists against the rope.
Daniel sighed as he pushed a button on his belt.
The door opened and the boys all came in, all tied up.
"Lyla?" Jameson announced, surprised, tears on his face.
I could only watch with wide eyes as the boys were forced on their knees in front of me, a man standing behind each one of them.
Simultaneously, the men took out tasers and, before I could react, tased the boys.
They screamed and thrashed around, then promptly fell onto the ground.
"No!" I shouted, fighting my bounds. The men pulled the boys up and held them by their hair. "Don't touch them! They're mine! They're my hybrids!"
"Oh shut up!" Daniel sneered.
He punched me across my face, causing the boys' heads to snap up.
"How dare you."
