Elisa's Point Of View
"You Goddamn bastards." I growled underneath my breath, my body shaking as I felt my heart beat faster and faster.
Everything felt like it was burning, like the electricity combined with my power, and then it just destroyed it, leaving only fire and its ashes.
Nick was shaking Beside me as well and his teeth broke through his lips, causing them to bleed.
Go
Swinging my head backwards, I hit the man where it hurts the most.
Shooting to my feet and clenching my teeth, I jumped in the air and kicked the man behind Namjoon, giving him the opportunity to stand.
The others were fighting as well.
I twisted my wrists in the cuffs and pulled at them. Dodging a punch, I threw my arms apart from each other, finally breaking free.
"Daniel!" I screamed and lunged at the son of a bitch himself.
I managed a nice long cut across his eye. His screams made me smile.
"Lis!" Lyla yelped from behind me.
I spun around and lunged at the guy dragging her away.
The next thing I know, I'm getting pinned by a bunch of guys and Lyla is on the floor, blood flowing from her head.
"Hey!" I struggled against the men. "Someone help her! She's going to bleed out!" I tried to get out of their grasp, but my arms refused to use their strength. "Why won't you listen to me?!"
Daniel stumbled over as he held his eye to where the men had pinned me against the wall, my back to them. "Break his tail."
"No!" My eyes widened, trying to run away. "Wait! Don't! You can't do that!"
A man took the top and bottom of my tail and began to push them together.
I screamed and tried to thrash around, tears falling from my cheeks.
Then I heard the snap and everything around me died.
I fell to the floor, defeated and exhausted, my soul giving up.

Ben's Point Of View
I laid on the floor next to Lyla, nudging her with my head, feeling the sickening blood stick to my forehead.
Her eyes fluttered open and focused on me.
"We'll get you out. I promise." My voice shook. "I'm so sorry that you are getting hurt because of us." I saw her eyes water and mine followed. "I can't promise you that you won't get hurt anymore." I took a deep breath as I began to imagine all of the pain we all will probably go through. "But we'll get you out of here, I can promise you that."
"Ben." Lyla whimpered.
"I lo-" I was pulled up by my shoulders, being pulled away from my precious owner.
"No." Lyla held out her arm towards me, but a man stomped on it, crushing it beneath his boot.
"Please don't hurt her!" I begged desperately. The man didn't look at me. I turned to the two holding me. "Stop hurting her. She hasn't done anything wrong!"

"Look, just get me any information you find about Timeless." I paced in front of KJ and his computer.
I sat down by my computer and started to rewatch the outside footage of Lyla's apartment.
Nothing happened for several minutes before I started to wonder if I had clicked on the wrong date for the footage.
I looked down at the corner of my screen and saw that everything was the correct date, it was just the time that didn't change.
"Timeless." I whispered.

Lyla's Point Of View
My toes dragged across the floor as two men held me up my arms and walked me down several hallways.
I forced myself to memorize the door numbers and the hallways they belong to. We stopped in front of the door that read Hybrids on the top.
I was unable to see the code he typed into the keypad, but I know it is different now.
The door swung open and my eyes stung at the sudden dimness of the room.
I was thrown onto the floor, my back hitting the wall. Something slammed behind me and the light vanished.
"Oh my God." I heard fast footsteps to my right. "Lyla, Lyla come here." It was Sammi.
I opened my eyes and saw her kneeling by the wall of her cage, clenching the holes as she stared at me with concerned eyes.
"Is she here?!" Nick whispered loudly and I heard more shuffling.
"Is she hurt?" Nalla asked, panic in her voice.
I tried to stand up, but I could barely lift myself up.
"Just a little bit further." Sammi encouraged with a soft tone.
Finally, I managed to crawl to the cage separating Sammi and I. I leaned my face against the wall, and Sammi stroked my cheek with her fingertips. I stared into her eyes as my lip began to tremble.
This was hell. everything was hell. Daniel is the King and the others are his demons. How are we going to escape them?
"Sammi." I sobbed and laid my shaking hand on the cage.
I saw tears fall from her face as she placed her hand on mine. I could hear the others all start to sob, sniffles and cries echoed through my head.
That all was blown away by the sweet melody of my childhood.
"I remember tears streaming down your face when I said I'll never let you go." Sammi tried her best to form the song in the darkness of the demons.
"When all those shadows almost killed your light." Nalla continued the lullaby I sang to comfort them when what seemed like an eternity ago.
"I remember you said don't leave me here alone." Nick's melancholy voice made me cry even more.
"But all that's dead and gone and passed, tonight." Ben's voice cracked and I saw Nalla nod in encouragement.
"Just close your eyes, the sun is going down. You'll be alright. No one can hurt you now. Come morning light, You and I'll be safe and sound." Jameson, the boy who I remember to be so sensitive, sang with the most confident voice out of all of us. He proved to us that even the silent fighters can be some of the most deadliest.
"Don't you dare look out your window, darling everything's on fire." Peter broke my heart with his shattered voice. "The war outside our door keeps raging on."
We weren't going to make it out of here. There is a monster outside of these cages. He will continue to break every single one of us until we are just an empty shell.
But we might as well celebrate what we have.
And that is each other.
"Hold onto this lullaby even when the music's gone." I closed my eyes, letting my final tears fall from my cheeks. "Just close your eyes, the sin is going down. You'll be alright. No one can hurt you now. Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound."
I stopped singing, and so did everyone else. But there was still a part left.
No one else, including me, couldn't find the strength to sing the last words.
But the facts aren't always right.
"Just close your eyes," She took a shaky breath. "You'll be alright." I could see her plaster the broken remains of a smile on her lips. "Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound."
Elisa completed the song, he completed our family, even if we all are just the remaining shards of a once happy person.

Dylan's Point Of View
"They're monsters." I stood up, covering my mouth with my hand.
"And their location is right there. It's just, out in the open." KJ leaned back in his chair, staring up at me, waiting for my decision.
I took a deep breath. "You can't tell anyone about this." I grabbed my gun from my desk and made sure it was loaded before sticking it in my holster. "I have to do this by myself." I grabbed my jacket. "If you don't hear from me in three days, assume the worse."
I copied down the information into my notepad and smiled down at the dumbstruck KJ.
"I'll see you soon and I promise I will return with Lyla."
