Chapter7: Sip?

Rom's POV

It wasn't suppose to be like this. I was suppose to tell her the truth get the girl and things would be good.

But it didn't...

Mocks the voice in my head as I look for Lumina. Its like she got swallowed up by the sea of body as they dance to the music.

I hear a bunch of yells over the music and make my way towards it.

There she stands behind Erinn who currently has Spencer by the collar and is yelling at him." What the fuck did you do to her ! Why the fuck is my best friend drunk!?"

He mumbles out an excuse while I move to hug Lumina from behind." I'm suppose to be mad at you"she says her words but slurs.

"I'm sorry you had to find out like this" I say and reach to take the solo out her hand but she moves too fast.

"Sip? Romie?" she asks and that's when I see that she has a blue solo cup. She's drinking from the Death Bowl .

Everyone knows the if you have a blue sole cup that you drinking from it. The last time I drank from it I woke up covered in honey, in my underwear,tied to a random tree and I still shudder at the thought.

I look down at her, its amazing she hasn't pasted out yet. She must have a very high tolerance."Where did you get that drink?" I ask her like talking to a child.

"From the bartender...who also wrote his number here"she says showing me her arm with the number on.

I look over to Erinn she calmed down standing one side, I take Lumina's hand and drag her with me.

"Watch over her for me. I'll be right back" I say to Erinn as I make my way to the bar.

I tap the guy and the shoulder and as he turns around I throw a punch. The sound of a crunch reaching my ears." That's for giving a girl from the Death Bowl" I say.

He slowly gets up and another punch it thrown but it isn't from me its from a ash blonde chick in a checkered hello jumpsuit.

"You shrimp dick lying sick fuck face!" she yells at him a and throws another punch that knocks him out.

Before I could even thank her she's gone. I shrug my shoulders and mai my way back to Lumina.

But she isn't there , it's only Erinn and now Alec."Where's Lumina?" I ask looking around." She went home, parties ain't really her scene" she says thoughtfully.

"Where do you guys live?" " Just follow the white trail through the forest" she tells me and I make my way to the end of the asphalt road.

Just like Erinn said there is a white trail. I follow it and shortly after I hear a laugh. I pick up my pace and see a flick of blue hair going off the trail.

"Blue Bear wait up!" I yell and run after her. She moves through the trees fast , reminding me of that fish that forgot Memo's Dad was following her.

She comes to a stop between two white painted trees." Come on its just a bit ahead" she says and walks forward.

"I see you sobered up a bit " I say following her along side a pool. She doesn't answer so I look past her and see a pool house.

She opens the double doors and it gives way to what looks like a studio inside with a bed,bookcase and a table with things on it.

"Don't worry it belongs to me" she tells me and pats the spot next to her on the bed. I remove my shoes and join her on the bed.

"You know you could have just told me , instead of hiding all the time. Don't you think it would've had a better outcome at the end" she say struggling to take off her shoe.

I nod and reach over yo help her untie her shoe. Only once I look up do i realise how close we are.

But her eyes aren't on mine , no. Her eyes are glued to my lips and without thinking , I smash my lips against hers.

I lips taste of chocolate and alcohol but they set off fireworks in my body. Her hands slip under my T-shirt and I have to bite back a groan.

Wait,what if this is just the alcohols doing and she doesn't feel the same. This is wrong.

I slowly lay her don't and the break the kiss . I roll over and lay nest to her and turn my head to her. She looks at me and smiles," I know what you thinking and don't how would u know if I'm really drunk"

I shrug my shoulders and she lets out a laugh and shakes her head. " OK all in all you a good kisser Romie"she says with a soft smile.

I smile back at her, she gets up and moves over to the table grabbing the laptop."Since that's over how about we watch a movie or something till we fall asleep yeah?" she asks and places the laptop next to her on the bed.

"Something action" I tell her moving closer to her side. She rolls her eyes at my movie choice and snuggles up to my side.

"Well aren't you just a cat " I say and hold her tight, she smirks and presses play for the movie to start.

"It was a reflex and of course I'm a cat but you can be the big spoon for now"she mumbles so so I almost didn't hear her.

I laugh and pinch her check she swats my hand away and turns her attention to the movie.

God I really hope she remembers everything in the morning cos this would be hard to explain .
