The Fire User raised his head, tears streaming down his face. "We won't kill and we won't be killed!" Riley and Cody both shouted in unison at the top of their lungs. "That's our motto, here at Bullheaded Ovala Academy!" Riley raises his fist as a heaping amount of fire ignited around it. He charged for Gu and swung his flaming fist at the man.
Ha! Good luck with that, you naive little fool!" Blocking the attack with his palm Gu said, "Water Dispenser." Gu's jaw dropped when he realized although the flames were dissolving, they were doing their best not to.
"I won't…I can't die here!" Riley yelled enraged. "Not until I see her again!" Riley's free arm lit up with fire as he threw it forward and shouted, "Double Fire Punch!"
The severe flames knocked Gu to the floor. As the man got up, a swift right hook knocked him back down. Riley looked down at the man with a scowl, "And you know…she may be a cucumber seed and all. But Ashley won't die either! And don't you dare think otherwise!" Flames flickered around Riley's leg as he brought it forward, "Fire Kick!" The flaming leg knocked Gu even further back.
Gu sighed with a smile, "Bullheaded Ovala Academy, huh? I'll have to see what's that's all about for myself someday. But…I can't let this fight end here." He flipped back up onto his feet, much to Riley's surprise.
"No way, you can still move?!"
"Of course I can. It's a little technique of mine called, Healing." Gu scratched his head, "Although, I hate using it since it's not an original."
Riley sweat dropped, "If it was, I'd be called you out for your lack of creativity…"
"Still, you should be honored," Gu said with a warm smile. "I don't use this technique very often because of that. But you've managed to push me this far. And now to repay you…I'll show you just what it can do!"
"Bring it!" Riley fist lit up with fire as he threw it forward, "Fire Punch!"
Gu just stood there wide open as the blazing fist connected with his jaw. Immediately his wounds receded. Smirking with confidence, Gu's knee slamming into Riley's gut caused him to double over.
The healing man's fist jolted across the boy's cheek, knocking him to the ground. As soon as Riley got up, a shuriken to the leg knocked him back down. "Aquatic Presence," Gu turned invisible at those words.
"Darn it," Riley grunted as he returned to his feet once more. "Not that one again."
Before he knew it, Riley was up in the air. His shirt was gripped onto before being chucked into the floor. Wiping his mouth as he stood up, the Fire User glared with intensity, "That's it! I don't have to take this!" Focusing all of his energy on a singular spot, his whole arm bursted up with flames. "I'm using every last ounce of my energy to finish you off! You hear me, Pu?!"
"It's Gu!"
Riley's eyes darted toward the tree where Gu's voice had came from. "Oh, so that's where he is, huh?" Riley leaped into the air, pulling his flaming fist back. "Extreme Fire Punch!" He yelled out as the attack collided with Gu. The tree crumbled down in response as Gu became visible again.
"Damn, I have to admit it was a pretty good idea taunting me to figure out where I was," Gu said with a genuine smile.
Riley cocked his head dumbfounded, "Eh? What are you talking about Yuu?"
The orange haired man's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets in frustration, "It's Gu! Get it right, dammit!" Gu sighed as he hopped back on his feet, "Seriously, you're a weird one kid."
Riley's eyes widened in horror, He can still move?! I thought that last attack would've finished him. What am I gonna do now? I don't have any energy left...
Gu popped his shoulder muscle, "What's the matter? You didn't think it was over, did you?"
Ashley woke up in a dungeon. The complete silence combined with the dull gray walls made a creepy mixture that sent chills running down the girl's spine. Looking through the rusty metal bars, she could only see a couple other cells and a dining table just beyond the corner.
And then she sighed, "Haven't been in here in a while..."
A shadowy figure was approaching from just beyond the corner. Ashley slowly reached into her weapon pocket, until she realized nothing was there. Fear overshadowed her face as she gulped, "That monster took my weapons away..."
The shadowy figure was revealed to be Aadolf as he walked up to Ashley, "Good evening."
She glared at the man, her eyes like kunai of their own, "What do you want?"
Aadolf simply chuckled, "That's a good one. You already know what I want. I'll be starting the PA100 project soon."
Ashley hastily started pulling on the metal bars as she shouted, "That won't happen! I'll stop you even if I have to destroy it myself!"
"And how exactly do you plan on doing that?" The King grinned as if he was watching his favorite movie. "You don't even have your weapons anymore. And it's not like you were good for much else, aside from serving your purpose in the PA100 project of course."
"I'll never help you with your stupid project!" Ashley barked at the King.
"Really now? What a shame," Aadolf turned his back on Ashley. Then he looked at her through the corner of his eye, "And to think, I was going to let you see...hm what was it that you called her again?" The King pondered before slamming his fist into his palm, "Oh, that's right! Your sis."
Rage flickered in Ashley's eyes, "Don't taunt me like that..." The blonde girl pulled on the bars even tighter than before, the veins on her hands becoming visible. "DON"T YOU DARE TAUNT ME LIKE THAT!"
Aadolf smirked with pride, "Oh? Did I touch a nerve?"
"You're despicable," Ashley growled still gripping onto the bars, straining her hands even further.
"Well, either way you will be dead in a couple of hours. Say goodbye to your sis," The King laughed as he threw a picture into Ashley's cell and walked away.
"Will I really never get to see her again?" Ashley's bruised fingers finally let go of the bars as she fell to the floor. "Is this really the end? I want to see her one last time…"
"Hey, what are you doing out here all alone?" A girl identical to Ashley had asked.
Ashley looked up at her, "I just wanted to be."
"But that's no fun!"
"The King said I wasn't allowed to have fun," Ashley stared at the ground with insects crawling around a half-eaten Popsicle covered in tears.
"He's your father too, you know? Just call him that," The mirror Ashley said with a kind smile. She looked down to see what her sister was staring at and gasped, "He didn't make you cry, did he?"
Ashley simply nodded her head with watery eyes, "He's the one…who told me I couldn't call him father.…"
"I'm sorry…" The identical Ashley wrapped her arms around her little sister and rested her head on her shoulder. "But hey, even if he'll never consider you family, I always will."
Ashley's eyes lit up as they traveled back from the ground, "R-Really?"
"Of course. And you can always call me sis, whenever you want."
"O-Okay. Then can I call you that all the time?"
"Like I said, whenever you want," The elder sister assured with a warm smile.
"Yay, thanks sis!" Ashley rubbed her face against her sis's, smiling a radiant one. "You're the best!"
Drip drop. Drip drop. Tears pelted the cold metal floor that Ashley's hands were resting on. Drip drop. Drip drop. "Darn it…darn it…I want my sis! I want to see her again!"
Bang.
Ashley's fist had struck a cell bar, "I want to see her! Let me out of here Aadolf!"
Bang.
"Let me out!" The liquid of her emotions streamed down her face without hesitation as the desperate girl continued pounding against the door to no avail. "Let…me…out…" She slid back to the floor, still grasping onto the bars, "Please…"
