1.10 Young master Charles can't live without his Doll.

Mia sincerely thanked her driver and also apologized for the sudden call. She was really sorry for disturbing his time with his wife and children. Dan was terrified when his miss apologized. He rapidly shook his head and told that it was his job. He also told that he informed the old madam about his incompetent job, which made Mia to scream in frustration.

As expected, Mia got a call from her grandmother, who lectured her about kidnapping, traffic accident, daylight robberies and what not stuffs. Annoyed yet thankful, Mia promised Dyna that she'll not to do it again.

She reached her apartment around 4 pm. She ate the packaged food which she bought from a restuarant, then later slumped on her bed and took a light nap.

When she woke up, it was 7 in the evening. She off her alarm clock and drowsily walked to her bathroom. She did what she had to do in bathroom, and then searched for the dress which grandma was talking about.

The dress was actually a beautiful and sexy red mermaid dress with black net and borders. The reason why she didn't want to wear it was because she hated mermaid dresses. Even if it had her favourite colour, she hated it. When she was an actress in her real world, she wore a mermaid dress and walked on the red carpet during the actress award show. The most embarrassed moment in her life was the moment when she stepped on her own dress and hilariously fell infront of the cameras.

That single fall caused her to fall into deep depression. No matter where she went to, everyone talked about her fall because of the dress. From then on, she hated the mermaid dress to death.

She groaned and jumped in frustration. She'll be humiliated if she did the same mistake, 'Ahhhhh...what to do!!?'.She stared at the dress like she wanted to burn it into ashes. She finally let out a frustration groan and surrendered.

After 30 minutes, Ding...Dong....

"Coming....!",

Mia hurriedly applied a light colour lipstick and took a last look at the mirror. Then she quickly took her phone and shoved it in her purse. She stumbled while she ran toward the door. Scowling, she quickly opened the door. She paused when she saw the other person.

The man standing outside of the door also froze when he saw the girl. He swallowed his saliva and asked with confusion written on his face, "Mia?".

Mia widened her eyes and exclaimed, "Brother George!?". George coughed and nodded with a smile. Even though his expression was calm and mild, his ears were burning red. Mia locked the door and said to her step-brother, "Please take care of me".

George nodded and led his new sister to the elevator. Inside, they stood still without any words. Mia was very bored, 'Come on, speak something!'. She didn't like talking, but she still wanted to talk something because she's bored. She cleared her throat and asked with a smile, "How is everyone at the Capital?". George nodded and said neutrally, "fine".

Mia then kept quiet, 'This man is an one man word!'.George glanced at the girl and asked "did grandma tell you the reason why you need to attend the banquet with me?".

Mia was confused. 'Reason? What reason!?' George looked at the girl's confused face and smiled. He fist his palm and coughed, "you're my girlfriend for this banquet. I thought grandmother told you the details". 

Tia was shocked, 'Girl-girlfriend!!! Heck! That old woman! Ahhh...!!'.

She shook her head and said a little terrified, "I-I seriously don't know about this. Ah! I'm so sorry. I-I..Oh my God!". George glanced at the terrified girl and chuckled lightly. He went beside her and patted her head, "don't worry, brother would take care of everything. You can just stand beside me". Mia's body froze when the man patted her head.

She wanted to slap his hand away, but she didn't. She simply nodded and said lightly, "Thanks brother". She cringed for no reason. George smiled and then relaxed.

Mia put her hand on her head and gently rubbed it. The pat felt.....nice. Back in her world, Victor usually patted her but she would slapped his hand everytime. Victor was her cousin who's girlfriend was her bestfriend. Remembering about them, she felt her vison becoming blurry. Thankfully George didn't look at her, or else he would be frightened.

Mia and George stepped out of the elevator when it reached the underground parking lot. George told Mia to wait for him, while he went to bring the car.

Mia was not surprised to see a goddamn Porche but to hide her boredom, she gasped and asked excitedly "Is this brother's car!?".

George hummed and opened the door like any gentleman should. Mia was ecstatic. She sat in the car and was amazed by the interior designs, scoffing inwardly. She had better car than porche, so she wasn't interested. George found his new sister very cute and beautiful at the same time.

It took an hour for Mia and George to arrive at their destination. Mia was somewhat confused when she saw the blue glasses building, 'Is the banquet held here?'. She was startled when she saw the red carpet. Her worst nightmare of red carpet and mermaid dress was right infront of her!

She rubbed her sweaty plams and mumbled to herself, "The past is past, it's not gonna repeat again. Everything's gonna be fine". She jumped when she heard her brother's voice. She smiled lightly and exclaimed, "Brother is so amazing! I didn't think you'll be able to co-operate with CEO Davis!".

George felt proud when he heard his sister. He had heard many praises from others but his sister's words felt different. It was sweet unlike others, who only praised him without any meaning.

Seeing her fiddling in excitement, he chuckled in amusement. Mia was actually fiddling in frustration and depression, 'Why!? If I knew this was gonna happen, then I would have said NO!'.

She wanted to bang her head and die right now. How embarrassed would she be, if she fell infront of the cameras again? Of course, she can fulfill her mission of being famous but she didn't want to.

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. When she opened her eyes again, it was filled with determination and also a tint of fear. All the reporters in City Lon were extremely excited that they got a chance to see the business tycoon of Cov land.

For the past four years, the business tycoon of Cov held a banquet at each city magnificently, but the large banquet held in the capital was the greatest and the grandest among all.

CEO Davis did not bother about money as he leisurely spent it, but he would also earn double the amount than he wasted. This new year, Lon city was chosen among the various cities. So how could the media be not excited? This was the day, where they could see all the big shots of Lon city in a particular place!

The banquet would start at 8 in the evening and would end at 3 in the morning. No one knew what would happen in the banquet except the people invited in it. All the camera men eagerly snapped photos much as they can. During the one hour, they were able to see the olden generations big shots and various newbie stars. They were all ecstatic that they were able to see all the famous family of Lon city.

The reporters and their camera men were surprised when they saw a red ferari stopping in front of the building. Most of the big shots came in black cars or white cars, but this person came with a ferari. They were anxious to know who would it be. When they saw the 2nd youngest business tycoon of Atsa, they were flabbergasted, 'Wasn't he in the capital?!'.

They immediately snapped his photos.

George slightly frowned and circled the car. He opened the back door of the car and held out his right hand. All the reporters were confused by the sudden action, 'Who is it, that made the young business tycoon to act unlike him?'.

Mia stared at her brother's eyes. Her deep and lucid eyes made George smiled with fondness. He smiled and said in a low voice, "I'll take care of you".

Mia smiled and put her hand on his. She stepped out of the car and looked around her. She looked at the red carpet and hesitated. George could feel the girl was very tense. He thought it was because of the reporters and the cameras. He gripped the girl's hand and slightly bent down his head. Seeing the girl's white neck, his throat gobbled. He shook his head and whispered in her ear, "Don't worry, brother will always protect you".

Mia felt ticklish when her brother whispered near her ear. She giggled and nodded, "I know". George smiled tenderly and patted his sister's hand. Then they both walked into the building leaving everyone dumbstruck.

Wha-What was that?!!!!

"Are my eyes blind or did I see right?"

"Heck! Who said that George Addison was an emotionless person!?"

"Oh no!! I forgot to snap the photo of the girl beside CEO George!!"

"Who was that girl? Is she his girlfriend!!?"

All the media people were in uproar by the sudden appearance of George Addison and the unknown girl beside him. Mia sighed in relief when she finally entered in the building. Thankfully, she didn't fall because of the dress, if not she'll be embarrassed to death.

She stood beside her brother and chatted with all the people in the banquet. Gratefully, George introduced her as his sister, who came recently came from foreign. She wasn't affected by the constant stares and envious eyes she was receiving.

Suddenly the whole hall quietened down. Mia looked at the direction where everyone were looking at. She smirked seeing the star of the story.

Connor Davis, the male lead of 'The little adorable girlfriend of Mr. Connor'.

She glanced beside him and grinned.

Rosalia Noris, the female lead of 'The little adorable girlfriend of Mr. Connor', was standing beside Connor. Mia had to accept that the male lead looked dashing while the female lead looked adorable.

Rosalia Noris and Connor Davis were rare types of beauties who had black hairs and a pair of pink eyes, which were exceptional in the world.

In the Cov land, the people who had black hair, black eyes, red eyes, red hair, pink eyes and blue eyes were rare and unique. 98% people in the world had brown, green, orange or blue hair while they had orange and green eyes.

George Addison, Mia's stap-brother had blue hair and green eyes, but he was dashing in his own way. She averted her gaze and tucked her brother's suit. She looked at her brother and beckoned him to lean over. George bent down and he could feel the girl's breathe beside him. He tried very hard to remain calm. "I'm bored", Mia whispered and pouted. George looked at his sister and chuckled lowly.

He looked at his business partner, Connor Davis and found him(C) staring at him(G). He slightly nodded and turned to his sister.

"Come, I'll show you something", he took Mia's hand and they both walked away from the crowded area. Connor's pair of eyes followed his business partner. When he wanted to avert his eyes away, he found a pair of blue eyes glancing back at him. He smiled and did a slight nod as respect. He was surprised when the girl scrunched her face in disdain. Why would she disdain him? He was confused.

He looked at his appointed girlfriend and said seriously, "always stand beside me. Don't move unless I asked you to. Understand?". Rosalia was enraged that the man was controlling her but she pursed her lips and nodded. If she needed to capture Connor's heart, then she needed to satisfy him.

Mia was shocked when she saw the back of the building, It was filled with flowers and colourful fountains. She squealed and ran around happily. She was more happy here than staying in the banquet hall where there was no fun. George took a seat at the long bench, which was placed beside a fountain. He chuckled seeing his sister being so energetic than before.

Seeing her beautiful and enchanting smile, his heart skipped a beat. He slapped himself, 'Mia is your sister dumb ass!'. Mia spent her time roaming around the garden and playing with the water of fountains. When she had enough, she went and sat beside her brother.

"Thanks brother", she said sincerely as she gazed at the dark sky. Even though she didn't want to accept the man as her brother, she was grateful to him. He somehow reminded her of Victor. [You look ugly when you don't smile] that's what Victor said whenever he found her frowning and scowling. She silently smiled when she thought about it, unaware that the man beside her was staring at her.

George pursed his lips and averted his gaze. He wanted to rubbed his sister's head but it would dishevel her hairstyle, so he just hummed lightly.

Mia suddenly wanted to sing a song to accompany this silent night. So, she just closed her eyes and hummed a song called 'arms'. Her melodious and angel like voice was the only sound that rang throughout the garden of flowers and fountains.

The wind gently blew as it accompany the humming tune. When she finished, she looked at her brother and grinned, "How was that?".

George was speechless. He opened his mouth but nothing came out of it. Mia looked at this and laughed. If this small song could make her brother speechless, then she wondered how would he react to others. Her melodious laughter was filled with excitement and anticipation. George bit his lower lip, trying hard not to blush in embarrassedment. He didn't expect his sister to be this active. He thought her as a shy woman who would always follow whatever others say.

Mia stood up and patted her clothes, "Let's go in. We can't keep our CEO away from the banquet, can we?". George stood up and cleared his throat. He looked at Mia and said, "It was mesmerizing".

It really was. He had forgotten how to react, seeing her with eyes closed and humming with sadness yet with a mysterious joy, he felt like.....she wasn't a part of this world.

Mia was slightly confuses. Mesmerizing?...Ah her song! She giggled and said happily, "Thanks brother!". Then she and George went into the banquet hall. When Mia and her brother left the garden, an old man stepped out of the bushes and looked at the two departing figures.

Mia and George were unable to sense the presence of this old man, since he was hiding behind the bushes and silently sleeping. The old man stretched his body and said, "That song was more than mesmerizing. I wonder if she'll like to become a star in the future". He touched his beard and walked toward the banquet hall.
