Mia woke up at 11 am and freshen up, she then draped the towel over her wet head and walked to the garden. When she was living in her grandmother's mansion, she like to go to the greenhouse.
So if grandma couldn't find her then she just needed to go to the greenhouse and she'll be able to find Mia sprawling on the green grass. Thus grandma usually set a tea party in the greenhouse. They would call the maids and the butlers to joined them. Even though the maids were reluctant and scared, they somewhat relaxed themselves and enjoyed their time.
Mia really missed those days. She missed the chit chats and also the fresh vegetables, which she could pick anytime and eat it. She watered the saplings and mumbled, "grow up fast". After watering the plants, she went to the kitchen.
She wasn't a great chief. She only knew how to boil water and egg. Her best achievement in cooking was making egg noddles. She placed the pan in the stove and on it. Then she added oil and let it heat while she took two eggs and mix it with salt and pepper powder. Then she fried the egg on the heated pan.
On the other side of the stove, she placed a pot and boiled water in it. Then when it was heated enough, she put the noddles and it's masala inside. After the noddles was done, she fished it and placed it in a bowl. Then she placed the fried egg above the noddles.
She took out her phone and clicked the image of her wonderful masterpiece. She sent it to her grandmother with the hashtag #TastyNoddles.
Then she off the phone and took the bowl towards the dining table. She kept the bowl on the table and sat on the chair. The taste of pepper with egg was very delicious, and mixing it with the noddles was very more wonderful. She managed to eat the whole bowl of noddles within seconds.
After she ate the noddles, she took the bowl and walked to wash the dishes. Then suddenly, her grip on the bowl loosen and it fell on the floor.
Crash....Clank....
She stared at the pieces emotionlessly. Her eyes empty while her face was expressionless. There was no speckles of light in her eyes. She slowly crouched down and picked the pieces of bowl. One of the sharp edge piece pricked her finger and blood ozzed out.
She was startled. She shook her head and carefully picked the pieces. She didn't know what happened to her during these days.
It was like... she was feeling a little.....lost.
After throwing the waste and washing the dishes, she went to ther room and dressed up. She was excited to tour around Lon city. According to the information given by her system, Lon city had many number of food stalls and large amusement parks.
But it wasn't the things which pique her, but she was interested in a particular place. Lon city had a small temple called 'Found in old'.
Legends has it that, the small temple was created by a mother for her long lost son. And magically, she found her son after 20 years of waiting in the temple. From then on, most of the people who were lost could be found there.
Mia wanted to tour the city without any restrictions. If her driver was with her, then she'll never be able to enjoy due to the reason that he'll inform everything to grandma. She stepped out of the building and lowered her baseball cap. All the stores along the road were wide opened for customers and the people were bustling here and there. Lon city might be the busiest city after the capital.
She stood at the bus stand and looked at her phone. Grandma sent her a reply for the morning Post, [Grandma: Hahaha.. you're only having noddles. Look at this: ChilliMushroom.jpg] She chuckled seeing her grandma's childish way of showing jealousy. Grandma Dyna loved to eat her noddles but she wouldn't ask her unless she(M) ask her(G).
Mia saw the bus coming towards her direction. She sent a short reply and shoved it inside her pocket. She got into the bus and took a seat at the last row, since it was the only seat available. She put her headset on her ear and leaned back. The song 'My dad' sang by Amelia Johnson was being played on her headset.
She rested her head on the widow frame and looked at the sceneries. She wasn't intrigue by the song of Amelia Johnson. If this simple song could gain 20 million view within two days, then what about her own song? She was excited to know.
After 30 minutes of traveling, she got down in a mountain area. She lowered her baseball cap and walked up the stone stairs, which led her to the tip of the mountain. After few minutes, she raised her head and looked at the stairs, 'Why is this so long?!'. She sighed and continued moving ahead.
Upside of the mountain, there was an old small temple, but it was well taken of. A large banyan tree stood beside the temple, it's branches and twigs covering the upper part of the temple. A man stood in front of the temple without doing anything.
Then he suddenly heard someone's footsteps behind of him. He looked back and was stunned. Mia was also taken aback when she saw the familiar person.
"Mister! How come you're here?!" she asked running towards him. The man looked at the girl and lightly waved his hand, "Just passing by. Why are you in city Lon?". Mia smiled and said with a happy tone, "I'm gonna attend Angel Academy in this city". Then she looked behind of the man and asked, "how come you're here?". The man put his hands in his pockets and replied, "I'm here for some private matters". It was half a lie and half truth.
Mia nodded. She looked at the temple and asked with a little confused look, "Is mister also here for praying?". The man turned to the temple and hummed. Mia was surprised that the person who helped her in city Tir would also be here. She didn't think she would be able to meet him again.
She stood beside the man and folded her hands, 'please help me find what I'm missing in life'. She missed her parents, her sister, her career but the thing she missed, wasn't related to any of these.
The man beside Mia glanced at her and pondered. He didn't expect the girl whom he saw in city Tir for the last time to meet again. He didn't expect this sudden encounter. He sighed and folded his hands. He lowered his head and sincerely prayed, 'As usual, my prayer is the same. Please help me find her'. He had come to this temple for the past three years and all his request was the same. 'Please help me find her'.
He had nothing to ask. His father had died, his mother had run away and his father's daughter had disappeared. He had no one. But he knew that his step-sister was alive, and he would surely find her. It was his promise to his father.
Mia and the man didn't stay too long. They exchanged their names and departed after chatting for few minutes. Mia was surprised when the man told his name. His name was Tim Draven, head of the Draven association involved in the education system of Atsa and foreign cities.
He was only 25 but he was more successful than other older business men. Mia was not surprised nor amazed by his achievements, but she was surprised because Tim Draven was the second male lead of 'The little adorable girlfriend of Mr.Connor'! She sincerely felt sorry for the man.
Tim Draven met the female lead during the national competitions at Atsa. Like everyone else, he thought the female lead was cute and adorable. He found her cold and expressionless face interesting. Thus, he paid extra attention to the female lead, leading him to fall in the trap called 'Love'.
He became the female lead's supporter from behind her back. He supported and helped Rosalia without her knowledge. Connor knew someone was helping his girlfriend, so he did a search and finally came to know about the second male lead. He didn't bother for few months but after seeing Rosalia as Tim's partner in a banquet, he was enraged.
Connor and Tim fought with each other for the female lead, while the female lead pretended to be oblivious about it. She loved to see the two man fighting for her. She was 'priceless' afterall. As most of the stories goes, the second male lead is always bound to lose to the male lead.
Connor Davis ruthlessly destroyed the second male lead's business and whatever he had. Tim Draven became a street wanderer overnight but he still didn't lose his hope in love.
He proposed the female lead infront of the male lead. The female lead calmly explained that she and the second male lead were only friends and nothing more. Tim was heartbroken when he heard that. He went into depression and drank bottles of alcohol in a night club. The next day, he was found dead in a sewage pipe. No one dared to do a post mortem, since they all knew who did it. Tim Draven was then announced as dead without any specific reason.
Mia let out a sad sigh. This second male lead's dead is far worse than a cannon fodder. She didn't want to involve in the story plot, but knowing that the person who had helped her was gonna die brutally, she couldn't stay calm.
She needed to warn Tim to stay away from the girl named Rosalia Moon. Mia slapped herself for her stupidity. If she told the man to stay away from the female lead, then of course the man would want to know who is the person. Her warning would make the second male lead take interest in the female lead, and that was the least thing she wanted to do.
She walked into a cafe and ordered a cup of cappuccino with a chocolate flavour cake. She took a seat near the widow and sprawled on the table. "System, do you have any idea on how to help the second male lead", she asked to her system.
[No]
She sighed in defeat. Her system is just like a log of wood, no, a huge motionless stone! It doesn't know anything except missions.
"Miss, you're order" a waitress came and placed a cup of cappuccino and a cake on the table. Mia looked up and told thank you with a bright smile. Her smile could even make the sun blind.
The female waiter blushed and covered her face with the plate as she ran away. Mia inwardly rolled her eyes. She drank her cappuccino and ate her cake in a relaxed manner. She was aware of the multiple eyes staring at her but she remained oblivious to it.
After she finished her tea and snack, she put on her cap and called for the waitress. Immediately the same waitress from before came to collect the bill. Mia immediately payed the bills and left the cafe.
If she stayed a little longer, then she would have the chance of seeing the male lead and female lead entering into the same cafe. When Connor and Rosalia entered into the cafe, all the eyes were glued on them, mostly the female teens and women in the cafe. Men weren't interested in the female lead since they had seen a girl better than her, but the female lead was adorable causing few men to take a glance.
Connor led his student' to the table beside the window. It was the same table, where Mia sat before. Connor and Rosalia sat across each other and called for a waiter. A waitress came and bashfully asked them what they needed. Rosalia ordered a strawberry cake with orange juice, while Connor ordered only a cappuccino.
The waitress nodded and quickly went for bringing the items. "So, let's talk about your skills. Shall we?" Connor adjusted his glasses and leaned back.
Rosalia indifferently nodded. Connor knew the girl was very good at mathematics and she was very intelligent too. He had seen many intelligent people but Rosalia had a special talent inside her, which aroused his interest. He would like to see how much the girl could achieve if she had a better opportunity.
When the waitress brought their orders, they ate and discussed seriously. Rosalia was somewhat depressed that her talent pique the handsome teacher, not her face or body. She wanted her teacher to look at her as his woman not as his student, but she knew that she needed to wait. Wait for the right time and he would finally be hers.
When Connor and Rosalia finished their discussion, it was 1:40 in the afternoon. Connor brought Rosalia to eat lunch out but they had only tea and cakes. Rosalia offered to pay the bills, so Connor didn't insist. When Rosalia went for paying the bills at the counter, Connor looked beside his seat to find a blue colour phone. He took the phone and looked at it. When he was looking the phone, a low ting sounded and the black screen lit up.
He looked at the message on the lock screen, [Grandma: I asked my grandson to picked you up at 8 in the evening for a banquet. Don't forget to wear the red and black mermaid dress which I bought for you last time]
He then understood that the phone belonged to a girl. He walked to the counter and placed the phone on it. He told a waiter about the phone and told him that the owner would be coming to pick it up. Then he and Rosalia left the cafe and went back to the school. No.1 highschool of Lon City wasn't very far from the cafe, but they took the car to avoid rumours and gossips.
After They left the cafe, a girl rushed into it and walked to a table. She bent down, looked around but couldn't find what she was looking for. Just as she was thinking what to do, a male waiter came and handed her a blue phone. Mia was so relieved when she finally found her phone. It was the only thing which she could use to connect to her grandmother, and it also had her songs. She'll be damp if everything was lost.
She repeatedly thanked the male waiter causing him to blush in embarrassedment. Mia once again told thank you and left the cafe. When she read the message sent by her grandmother, she groan in frustration.
She immediately called her grandmother and asked, "Do I really need to go?". (Yes dear. You really need to go!), Dyna's voice was filled with excitement and anticipation. Mia scowled and said, "Ok but I'm not wearing the dress". (No! You have to!), Dyna screamed on the phone Mia whined in annoyance. She didn't hate her grandma's choice of sending her to a banquet, it was just she hated the dress.
After knowing that she was gonna attend a banquet, she immediately called her driver and asked him to pick her up. She felt bad after informing her driver, when she told that he can have leave today. When she told Dan her location, Dan was flabbergasted, 'Why didn't young miss inform me that she's going to the temple? '. He immediately took his coat and rushed out, "I'll be back!".
Mrs.Dan knew her husband was going for work, so she took care of the children. She was thankful that her husband employer was treating him well.
