Seventeenth Vow: Stalker II

Catherine checked his social media accounts and it was surprisingly few. Victor had a face that would make any person say yes to his every bidding. With that, he has a ton of Twitter and Instagram followers. He would only post so little.

Probably once every month.

He would take pictures of landscapes mostly. The only faces there was when he was with her. That was two years ago!

"Do you have anyone besides me?"

"No. Just you. Why? Do you think I need someone other than you?"

"Honestly yeah." He stopped by an empty parking space. The brunette got confused. "Are you getting tired of me? Is that it?" He faced her with horror and sadness.

Out of instinct, she hugged him. "No Victor! That wasn't what I meant!" She pat his back. "I mean that maybe you'll get lonely without me, no? Like when we're both busy and don't have time to hangout."

She frantically wracked her brain for words that will comfort him. She wasn't going to say that it was unhealthy for relying on one person or shutting yourself out for the same one. She'll probably tell him when the time is right.

Right now, Victor is not ready for any of that. The blonde man sighed in relief. "For a minute there I thought this was going to be something else."

"Don't scare me like that, sheesh." He broke their hug and took her hand. He placed it on his chest. Catherine felt it pound hard.

"You feel that? I was that scared. If you plan on scaring me, don't do it inside the car." He ruffled his hair and exhaled. It was only a few streets before they could reach the eatery.

They headed inside. They talked like what happened before never existed. They were there for about an hour and a half and went inside the mall.

Catherine felt a pair of eyes watching her. She kept on looking back once in a while. "Is something wrong?"

"I feel like we're being watched. Wait never mind, I'm probably just paranoid." She dismissed the thought. Victor scanned their surroundings. He saw the same man when they were at the diner and here he is again.

He smirked. 'Someone likes to play.' For now, he didn't mind their little stalker since his remaining time would be watching them. He will be dealt with soon when he takes her home.

When they got inside a clothing store, he got inside as well. He kept a safe distance. Just enough to conceal and to oversee them. Unfortunately for him, Victor had keen sense of intuition and eyesight. He was dangerously smart.

"Boss, he is still with her." When he put his phone down and faced them once more. The hair of his spine stood up. Beads of sweat started forming on his face. He eyes met Victor's.

Victor smiled and went back to Catherine.

"Aight, I'm 'ma head out."
