28. A PREMONITION? AN APPARITION? WHAT DID YOU SEE?

"EL!"

Elara was eating her breakfast at the Slytherin table and talking to her friends when she heard Harry yell her name loudly. She looked up to see him with a look of panic on his face. Dropping everything, she ran over to him, where he hugged her tightly, laying his head on her shoulder.

"Harry, what's wrong?" She stroked his hair. He pulled back and lead her outside the Great Hall. They sat on the steps of the grand staircase and he took a deep breath.

"It's the third task, El." Harry's eyes were wide and panicked. "I have to go into a maze, with monsters and- and- people and spells, and I don't know what to do! El, you have to help me!"

"Oh, Harry." She frowned and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. "I would take your place in the tournament if they let me. Of course, I'll help you, I'll teach you all the jinx's and curses I know, and no one will stand in your way."

"Thank you."

"Anytime."

Elara started training Harry soon after, bringing him to abandoned classrooms and sometimes the Forest where he could fire anywhere without worrying about hurting people. Sometimes Draco joined them, wanting to learn, sometimes Theodore was there, or Hermione, who was always eager to learn.

She was in class one day when someone came running in, interrupting Moody who was speaking about curses. "Sorry Professor." They turned to Elara. "Elara, it's Harry. You have to come with me."

The girl dropped everything and dashed after the boy. "He just collapsed in Divination. Ron and Hermione told me to find you."

"Thank you for coming." She panted as they ran up the stairs, and finally got to the open trapdoor of the Divination classroom. Just when Elara was going up the ladder, she heard a loud scream that sounded like her brother. She hurried and pushed away the students stood in her way, falling to her knees beside Harry and gently shaking him.

"Harry! Harry!"

He opened his eyes and they were watering. Once he saw Elara kneeling beside him, her eyes wide and worried, he just slumped against her, letting her wrap her arms around him. "You had me so worried, you arsehole."

"What was it, Potter? A premonition? An apparition? What did you see?" The professor asked, her eyes eager and excited.

"Nothing,"

"You were clutching your scar!" said Professor Trelawney. "You were rolling on the floor, clutching your scar! Come now, Potter, I have experience in these matters!"

"Listen here, Professor. My brothers clearly not feeling too good, and you attacking him with questions and assumptions. Please, for fucks sake, leave him alone." Elara stood and helped him up, leading him down the ladder and directing him to the dungeons.

"I- I need to see Dumbledore." Harry protested when he saw she was leading him to the Slytherin common room.

"You can go and see Dumbledore after you've relaxed. I'll be damned if you get hurt one more fucking time." She covered his ears and whispered the password to the portrait before leading him in. She quickly shrugged her robes off and draped them over his head. "Got to cover up your face."

"Am I even allowed to be in here?"

"No, we have a list of people who are banned from here, and you're on there. But who cares!" He could feel the cold air from the dungeons as Elara lead him somewhere. A door opened and the cloak was removed from his head.

"Welcome to mine and Theodore's dorm. You can lay down; you don't look too good." She gestured to the bed, and he gave her a grateful look before falling on the bed face-down.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. "El? It's Draco, is Harry in here? Someone said they thought they saw him with you."

Elara shook her head, an amused look on her face as she opened the door to see Draco, Theodore, Blaise, Daphne, and Bianca. "All of you here for Harry?" She asked.

"Partly, and partly because I wanted to see you, and this is also my dorm." Theodore kissed her cheek before sitting on the bed beside Harry and talking to him in a low tone. Bianca handed Elara her bag and gave her a hug before sitting on an armchair. Blaise gave Elara a side hug before sitting on the floor beside Bianca's armchair.

"Is Harry going to be okay?" Draco had a concerned look on his face.

Elara hugged him. "He'll be alright. Go sit with Blaise and let Harry come to you when he feels better, yeah?" When he nodded, she let him go and he went to sit beside his best friend.

"Hey, El." Daphne greeted her friend softly.

"Hi, Daph." Elara hugged her blonde friend. "Are you ready for the summer? How will you get all of your things from home?"

"Tori and I have everything we need in our school trunks. Thank you again for doing this for us, it means more than you could ever know." Daphne smiled gratefully.

"It's no problem, Theodore's gone through this too. It'll be alright in the end. If you every need anything, come talk to me, alright?"

Daphne nodded. "I will. I just wanted to see you, I'll go hang out with Astoria or some girls from my dorm. Bye." She waved.

"Bye. Have fun." Elara waved, before closing the door and going to sit on the other side of Harry. "Hey little brother, you feel any better?"

"Yeah. Thanks El." He hugged her.

"Anytime Harry. Anytime. Maybe go talk to Draco and Blaise? They've been worried sick about you. Then you can go see Dumbledore, alright?" He nodded and slid to the floor, slowly approaching his friends, who gently engaged in conversation with him.

Theodore turned to her. "I'm going to go shower." She nodded and he kissed her cheek before heading right for the bathroom with a pair of pyjama pants and some underwear in his arms. Elara turned to Bianca who was gazing into nothingness.

"Bia!" She called. Her best friend looked over, raising an eyebrow. "Come here." She patted the bed beside her. Bianca smiled and stood from the armchair, flopping down beside Elara and laying her head in the Black's lap.

"Hey, El?"

"Yes, Bia?"

"I love you."

"I love you too."

They smiled at each other.
