Fifteen

We left the office, simply standing outside. Brian, as he's the tallest, reached up and pulled a hatch from the ceiling. I hadn't even noticed it before. He pulled the hatch down, revealing a set of stairs. "The attic is the library." Brian stated, making me nod in understanding.

"Gimme a second." I mumbled, rushing to get the box of Ancient Greek books from my bedroom. Once I was back, I walked up the set of stairs. Near the top, I looked back at Tim and Brian who gave me encouraging nods. Once I was fully up, Brian closed the stairs up, leaving me up here.

I walked forward a few steps, letting out a loud gasp of awe as I saw all of the bookshelves. There was a large window that illuminated the library, an array of bean-bag seats scattered around it. Sat on one of the seats was Jack, his mask off, reading a book.

"Oh, Jack…..." I began, making his head shoot up at me. He reached over to grab his mask, and I immediately spoke. "You don't have to put it on, I'll sit somewhere else."

Jack shook his head, placing the mask over his gray skin. "It's okay, you can sit here." He said, gesturing to the seats. I went and sat on one fairly close to him, looking at the book he was reading.

"The fault in our stars?" I murmured, a smile slipping onto my face. "Good choice."

"Oh, I know," He let out a low chuckle, "It's my favourite. Anyway, what do you have in that box of yours?" He asked, making me put the box down and pull the top book out.

"Some stuff from Slender's old office. There were books in English, Latin, Ancient Greek, and some weird symbol thing. English is easy, Tim has the Latin covered, so I'm tackling Ancient Greek before Tim, Brian, and I work together to decipher the symbols." I explained, making him nod.

"I know some Ancient Greek." Jack said, gently taking the book from my hands. "This, in Greek is 'Oi alítheies ton vasileíon.' In English, it means 'The truths of the realms." Jack opened on a page, beginning to read through the page. "Should I read this out in English?" Jack asked, making me nod appreciatingly.

"If you wouldn't mind." I replied, as he cleared his throat, beginning to read.

"When the universe was created, so were the realms. A total of eight realms were created that day. The realms are named as such: Original, Slenderwoods, Trenderwoods, Splendorwoods, Offenderwoods, the Underworld, Heaven, and hell.

The original realm is where most live. It is the realm of the humans, of the animals. It is where most beings reside during their lifetime. In this realm is a vast space, full of stars, planets, and galaxies. The main planet of life is Earth, a planet in the Milky Way galaxy. The human population will only grow.

The Slenderwoods realm is a small realm, a dark place full of trees. A lone building stands there- a two-story mansion where the being with the name of Slenderman resides. He has three brothers who all have their own realm. Trenderman of the Trenderwoods realm, Splendorman of the Splendorwoods realm and Offenderman of the Offenderwoods realm. The four of them work together to collect damaged individuals, called the Creepypastas. Together, under the rule of Slenderman they kill the innocents of the Original realm. Slenderman is a faceless being who wears a business suit.

The Trenderwoods realm is a calm realm, made mostly of female Creepypastas. They, as a whole, don't truly put their focus into killing. They centre themselves around fashion, in a calm, ten story building they call their fashion industry home (which is surrounded by woods).

The Splendorwoods is a happy place, centred to video game and younger Creepypastas. They live in a funhouse, where fun is the key. Of course, they still kill, but out of all others the Splendorwoods inhabitants kill the least.

The Offenderwoods id the home to Offenderman, a sexual predator who is the most untrustworthy Slender brother. His realm is focused around the most untrustworthy Creepypastas who don't fit into the other realms.

The Underworld is Zalgo's realm, in which the dead souls of the Creepypastas reside. He is the king, and usually viewed as an enemy to the Slender brothers.

Heaven is where all the good souls of the humans of the Original realm, and Hell is where the bad souls go." Jack read, making my jaw drop.

"God, I did not know that." I frowned, rubbing my temples.

"I knew most of that…. but not some stuff. For example, I had no bloody idea that Splendor and his creeps live in a damn funhouse." Jack complained, making me grin at him.

"Would be pretty cool living in a funhouse, wouldn't it? We'd really give him a run for his money." I said, making him let out a small laugh.

"Ah… look at the time. I have some business to attend to, but here's some lined paper and a pen- so that you can write up a summary about the truths of the realms. To tell Tim and Brian.... and so that you won't have to repeatedly come to me so that I can just tell you it again. I don't think either of us would like to do the same thing repeatedly." Jack said, handing me some paper and a pen. He put the book back in the box, giving me a fleeting wave as he reached for the hatch, lowering it. He extended the stairs out, beginning to walk down them.

"Jack?" I questioned, making him stop and turn back to me.

"Yeah?" He replied, stepping up a step towards me.

"Thanks. For the translation. And the pen and paper." I thanked, giving him a thankful smile.

"Wasn't a problem." He replied, going down the stairs, closing the hatch. I was left alone in the room, sitting with my thoughts.

I immediately got to work, scribbling all the information down on the paper. It took a while as I made sure to get all of the story down on the paper. Once I was done, I put the book at the bottom of the pile, seeing that the book that was now at the top was rather small. I opened the front page, seeing a few words in English.

"Translations... French-no- Spanish- no- Bulgarian? No. English. Yes!" I cheered, seeing that the book had an English translation.

"okay…. It says it's called 'The basic guide of spells'? Wow, sounds magical." I joked to myself, standing up to look at the labels of the bookcases. Against a wall in the shadows was a small bookcase labelled 'magic'.

I went over it, looking for the 'T' section. Once I found it, I skimmed through the titles, looking for the translation. It didn't take long before I found it, taking it off the shelf. I strolled back to where I was sat, putting the Greek translation at the bottom of the pile, with this now at the top.

I picked the box up, deciding that I was done for the day. I went over to the hatch, bending down and releasing the stairs. I clambered down the steps, closing the hatch when I was back down.

I made my way to my bedroom, pushing the door open. I gasped when I saw my bed. On my bed were two large bags, accompanied by a note. I hastily pushed the box under the bed (keeping the spell book), before grabbing the note as I sat up on my bed.

'I went out. Thought Little Woods wouldn't like staying in a bloodied up top forever and decided to get you some stuff for your stay. Asked Keith for your size.

-T. W.'

Read the note. Tim. I smiled to myself as I reached into the bag closest to me, seeing a black, long sleeved turtleneck. I lay it out beside me on the bed, pulling out a black skater skirt. I got everything else out of the bags, putting them all on my bed. As well as the turtleneck and skirt, there were four pairs of jeans- two blue, two black- a dark green turtleneck, as well as a red one, a five-pack of tights, a red, knee length flowing summer dress, and two pairs of flannels. One red, one blue.

I went over to the closet, opening the doors wide. I hung up everything besides the black turtleneck, the skater skirt, and the red flannel. I put the tights and jeans in the drawer underneath.

I changed into the outfit, holding my leggings and blue turtleneck in my arms. I put them on the bed before grabbing the bags, folding them, and placing them in a drawer. I then got Tim's note, laying it on the desk. I picked up the clothes again, putting the book on top and leaving the room.

Now where can the washing machine be?
