The Letters from Rose

    Andrew obviously knew something I didn't, and that bothered me. On top of that, something was up with Lennon, and that bothered me too. But remembering that Jay said he may just be worried about the whole Andrew thing, I decided to go visit him and tell him that Andrew was now in jail. 


   Lennon had told me he wanted to spend some time with his parents and watch some movies, so I went to his house. His mom answered the door and told me he had gone out with some friends to hang out at a park near our local high school, so that's where I headed. I tried to call him to let him know I was on my way, but he didn't answer, so I sent him a text and flew there.


    When I landed at the park, I hid my wings and checked my phone, Lennon still hadn't answered or even read the text. So I went to look for him. As I was looking around the park, I heard someone talking and laughing. I recognized the laugh as Lennon's. 


      "Lennon!" I said, "Babe where have you been? I've been looking everywhere for-" 


      When I found Lennon, he was tucked away in a little hidden corner. He with another girl...and they were kissing. Lennon saw me and quickly pushed the girl away,


     "This isn't what it looks like." he said. 


     "What does it look like?" I asked. "I saw you kissing her. What did you see?" 


     "We caught Andrew. Don't bother coming back tonight. I don't want to see you." I said softly, then I turned away and went back to the Vail. 


    I didn't go anywhere for days after that. I stayed locked up in the castle, mostly in my room. I went to see Andrew once, I walked in and stood in front of his cell door. 


     "When I attacked those humans at that track meet, I saw him clinging onto another girl, he was trying to get her to safety when one of my minions got him. That's when you jumped in, and I heard you yell his name. I spied on you two after it was over and saw him hug and kiss you. Then after some more spying, I saw him treating the other girl the same way." he said calmly. 


   "So you let us arrest you? Why? To warn me?" 


      Andrew shrugged, "I like to think of it as messing with your mind." he said, then he disappeared from his cell. 


       I didn't try to go after him or call anyone to help me. Instead, I laid down on the floor and started sobbing. The sobs turned to screams not long after that. 


      One thing was for sure, if Andrew was really trying to mess with me, he won that round.
