Dear Imena,
"Are you sure this is going to work?" Skipper asked.
"No, but it definitely won't if you keep talking and blow our cover!" I said, throwing a glare at him.
With Skipper being a ghost, our plan needed to accommodate whatever challenges he may have with no physical form, so I used that to our advantage. I used a spell to help me shift into a fully ghost form, that way we could both appear and disappear as we please. Making ourselves invisible to the eye, we snuck into the building, sticking close to walls to lessen the chance of someone walking through us.
Upon sneaking around hallways and popping into rooms, we found a few people around the building, but they didn't look suspicious or scary. We found a few sleeping, and a small group playing cards, but there weren't even any objects laying around that might hint that they were up to no good. That's when we reached the end of the last hallway in the way back of the warehouse.
"Where is it pointing?" Skipper whispered, after making sure no one was around.
"Forward." I whispered back, but forward was the end of the hall, it was just an old wall.
"There's nothing there, Spirit, and this seems too suspicious. There are about ten people here and we haven't seen anyone else in this town, and now your enchantment isn't working. What if it's a trap." he asked.
I didn't answer him, I was really only half listening, I was focused on the wall. It felt like something was there, something familiar. I placed my hand on the wall for a moment, then quickly pulled it away, startled.
"What?" Skipper asked.
"Nothing, don't worry about it." I said.
I walked back down the hall a bit, and stopped at a door. I walked through without opening it, and turned to the wall on the right.
"Spirit, what's going on?" Skipper whisper screamed.
Again, I didn't answer, grabbed his arm, and pulled him through the wall with me.
A pair of frightened brown eyes met mine as I allowed myself to be visible.
