The Hidden Room

Dear Imena,

"Oh my goodness Rox," I said, running over to her, "are you ok?"

"Yes, yes I'm ok." she said, hugging me.

I observed her and the room she was in. Rox wasn't tied up or shackled, and it was obvious she had been here for several days, making it seem like she chose to stay here. But upon further investigation, I found that there were no doors or windows on the room, there was only a small floor lamp in the corner of the room for light.

"Rox, your brother is worried sick." I said.

"You told him?!" she exclaimed.

"No, I wouldn't be standing here on one piece if I had. But he said he's called and texted you and can't get a hold of you and he was worried, so I told him I would go out and look for you. In fact, he help me put together this...disguise." I said.

"Yeah, you didn't need it. There's no one in town." she responded.

"We noticed that." Skipper chipped in, "What happened to everyone?"

Rox looked at us in surprise.

"You didn't notice when you walked in here?" she asked.

"Notice what?" Skipper and I asked.

"Everyone in Boston is in this building." she said.
