Dear Imena,
"What is that?" Queen Luna asked.
"Oh, it's Andrew. He's very determined to take me out." I responded.
Luna nodded slowly, a shocked expression plastered on her face.
"So...what do we do? How do we make sure he's the one that's taken out?" Adam asked.
"We?" I asked.
"Yeah, we. You really think I'm gonna let my little cousin take on a huge beast-man on her own?" he said.
"Adam, you can't face that thing! You'll die!" I yelled.
"And you might too!" he yelled back as he stepped towards me.
"I might...there's no guarantee either way. But you and everyone else here will." I said, calmly, not daring to break eye contact.
He stared back in shock, "Well what are we supposed to do?"
"Make sure the humans and our people are safe. Maybe take everyone here to the Vail and lock down the kingdom until all of this is over." I said.
"We're not leaving you here, Spirit." King Gaden said, shortly.
"Well I don't want anyone getting hurt. Especially since Milo and the other humans are here, they're more vulnerable than we are." I said.
"I understand that, love, but I'm not going anywhere. I don't want to be away from you while you're in literal danger." Milo said.
The beast behind us growled and roared, it seemed like we were out of time to discuss this.
"Here's what happening. No one wants to leave, so we're not leaving. If things get messy, we're all out of here. Understand?" Adam said.
"Adam, that's not-" I began, but he cut me off.
"It's not up for discussion, Rose."
I took a deep breath, and nodded. "Alright, fine. But you all better suit up well, I don't see any of us coming out of this without a scratch."
