7 helper in mind

Lilith was detached from her surroundings. Her books were thrown apart. Her hair and sweater, covered in cheap coke. They were all hurling insults at her like it was the most natural thing to do. But she didn't want to resist. what's the point? why is her life so fucked up? Nobody cares what happens to her. Nobody needs to know how she is doing. what is the point of resisting or fighting when there is no reward at the end.No one feels concerned, to everyone she was no one. What's the point of a fight when nobody wants her to win?

Lilith didn't know when her thoughts sunk into the deepest pits in her. She was not depressed. She always fought back, in whichever way possible. But, her breaking point seemed so very near this time.

Jesse was her only friend from the beginning. He cared. When she didn't come to school a day, when she didn't turn up for their playdate, when she didn't go for their ice cream, or when she wasn't seen in the park, there was someone to ask her why. Though he didn't know, he was a big propeller of her damaged engine from the beginning. And he left her stranded, betraying her trust, notifying everyone that she is the freak they have been thinking of all along.

Her father left her. He went MIA when she didn't even open her eyes for the first time in this world. Her mom, the biggest business lawyer, Alice Clinton thought of her as an accidental extra fitting she had to put up within her house so that she went for business meetings all the time. Her deadbeat stepdad Jeff thought it would be better if he could get into her pants. And, don't even think about her previous stepdads, that's two chapters dead and closed.

Why was no one caring? What did she do? Is it all her fault? It is their fault that she came into the world, right? She didn't ask for this. She did not want to feel her heartbroken over and over again and again and people walking over her broken pieces like a fucking doormat.

Why does she feel she is all alone? Was anything ever been in her side? Is anything called luck is there in this world. It's okay to fail twice or thrice. Maybe luck was not on her side. But why, why does she have to fail every damn time? Where is the thing called luck? There were so many questions zooming in and out of her skull. It seemed her brain is having a blast with depression,

anxiety, gloominess, and whatnot. Well..fuck it all.

She was the one who waited on her birthday each year on the doorstep for her mom to come home with a teddy bear in hand. She was the one who would go to each science exhibition in school and win the first prize in hope that someone would cheer for that. But no one was ever there. She can answer like a medical prodigy and score a GP of 4.9 out of 5. But it doesn't matter to anyone. All she gets is additional work to complete from all her brainless bullies. Was this a normal life? Lilith didn't know. Her mom was there in the beginning. But she couldn't watch her daughter fall apart from her chosen husband's torture. So, she chose to go away from the suffering leaving her daughter to endure it all alone. She walked away from a child in need, from her own child in need. Which mom does that?

If anything there is, that is good about her, it's the dreams. Whether it's real or imagined, she felt something in them. That's most of the emotion she felt these days. She felt something for Daniel. She didn't want him to fall and if he does, she wanted to share his fall. She cared for him. Sometimes her irrational mind tells her the voices she hears when she is in utter turmoil in him. yeah, it's true, she can hear his soft voice like Chopin's melody when she feels broken. It's like a flowing river. It calms her. His voice, his face, everything about him, calms her. Gives her some sort of root, to fix herself.

When she was locked in a basement for two days in a row without food, she could feel him. when she was alone in the rain, without knowing her way home, she could feel him. When she was drowning in the swimming pool, somehow, she could feel his drenched blonde hair. She's tired of ignoring whatever this is. It's crazy, weird, strange, insane. But, if it can make her feel rooted, then there's no way she is going to let the last straw of hope go.

There is nobody in this world who cares for her. Then what could it matter if someone who cares for her is from the dream world. Daniel..Lilith called out. He was a source of numbness to her pain. He was the balm for the itchiest wart. I understand it's the most freaking analogy, but you get the picture right.?

There was a voice." fight. my flower. fight.."

It was him. The voice she has heard from the golden boy in battles with so much power and love. Daniel..! Is she going crazy..?. If yes, it doesn't matter. If someone cares, that's all that matters. She listened to her mind amidst the chaos happening around he the paper balls thrown at her, the popcorn showered on her, the coke that drenched her, amidst the yells at her, freak, slut, weirdo, whore. She heard ." flower....you are my flower.. get up and fight.."

She didn't know why she listened to him. Maybe, Lilith just wanted one, just one, a single one, to voice out that he cares, that the fight is still worth it all. She got up from the floor. She could feel the tugs on her hair and the pushes and pulls, boots and heels on her legs. But she rose. She was tired. But she wasn't the one who go down without a fight.

She could feel Daniel in her. Is that even sane to say out loud? Who the hell cares? He was her anchor. And if he is the base, then Lilith is going to fight to build the monumental building today. The golden man who won all the battles she have seen in her dreams, with his lion sword, was in her. Who is the fucking prick who stands in her way? Being it on. The fighting Lilith is back.

She managed to get her bag amidst her bullies. She pulled out her pepper spray cans. Lilith pushed it open and sprayed on the faces of Madalyn, Jess, Damien, and whoever stood there watching her pain. She didn't care about the after-effects. She could tell from their terrified expressions that they didn't expect her to fight back. Lilith was scared out of her mind, but she didn't let her fears stop her from her fucking fight. She pushed them aside and ran. They were following her with stinking eyes and snotty noses into the PE room. She closed her eyes. She could see his aqua blue eyes shining with some kind of pride in them. Was she the reason for that? if it is true, then he was the first one who felt proud of her. She looked in his eyes and he looked back into her, dull green eyes.

Her bullies locked the door and were equipping themselves with hockey sticks, carrom boards, and things that they found in the room. Lilith closed her eyes and she could see Daniel smiling." flower..take the thing next to you." She took a cricket bat lying next to her. she could see the amused smile on Jesse's face who was standing there with a hockey stick in hand. And of course with snot running down his nose. She closed her eyes again." flower go to your right. Take shield behind those lockers when necessary. Push your leg aside and stand with wide legs. It will give you more momentum when you leap. like the fighting stance of a panther." She could feel the whooshing of air and thumping of boots stomping to her ." attack..." Daniel's voice ringed in her ears.

Something like a surge of energy passed into her, like electricity flowing through her. She was feeling slightly electrocuted. Lilith felt like Peter Parker. It was hilarious, but don't you dare to judge her. She is rattled out of her mind. She dashed between them, evading their strikes and striking them with her cricket bat. It was like she was fighting her own battle like the battles Daniel fought. But the monsters had better faces to cover their rotten insides this time. After another minute she closed her eyes and Daniel was grinning at her." bravo...!" It felt nice to have him in her.

She looked around Jesse was limping towards the door. Madylin and her minions were on the floor. Damien was disfigured on the floor near the badminton table. she smiled. She could feel her energy draining from her. She could feel Daniels's concern for her. Her helper in mind. And she fell, into his arms.

He was cradling her in his arms. She felt safe for the first time in her whole life." Daniel ...!" She mumbled. He gave her his bone-cracking smile. It felt like, it was nirvana." flower, who are you....to me.." Daniel graced his fingers along her cheeks." Lilith ..." she answered. Before she fell to sleep all she could remember was a pair of aqua blue eyes sprinkling with happiness and so much adoration.

It felt like Christmas came early, with bells ringing like crazy. If this is what is schizophrenia or borderline mania, Lilith didn't mind a bit.
