10 beacon of light

Pexon was waiting for Daniel to wake up from his sleep.He has been asleep for two weeks now.Yeah,the time differences between different worlds cannot be explained by jet lag.King and queen were very anxious about the situation.Imthyas was off to his duties.There were small battles erupting abruptly ,troubling the kingdom.But never again , shadow creed was sighted.They didn't know whether to be relieved or to be anxious.But without prince Daniel everything seemed dull.

Palace dinners were quiet.Soldiers were silent before fights.Maids were gloomy.Daniel was a ray of sunlight in the kingdom.Without him everything appeared less glorious . People came to know about livore battle and how thier brave Prince fought shadow creed and is now in a comatose stage.The annual celebrations were suspended ,marriages postponed.The kingdom awaited thier prince to wake up from his sleep.But he was so deep in his sleep.

Pexon and two of his maids worked on a potion to revive thier prince .But ,how to revive someone ,if there are no wounds to show where he was injured.All the wounds in Daniel's body have healed.Actually ,pexon thought ,it healed in a faster pace.Whoever was striked by shadow creeder's spike has never healed and lived to tell those tales .His spike , Gosselin,was as vicious as its master.One strike with it ,and the most powerfull people fell like moth to flame.

But Daniel was different.Daniel looked healthier even.After he fell into the coma ,he was glowing .As if the comatose stage is divine .It made no sense.The potion was just like vitamines.But the king and queen needed to see that some medical intervention was being given in Daniel's case.Pexon , himself wasn't convinced about the potion's use in case of Daniel.Maybe ,it could get rid of pimples,that is ,if he developed some.

" umm...Pexon." He looked back to see Daniel rubbing off sleep from his eyes as if he was up from a nap.Pexon rushed to his side.Maids went to inform the good news of Daniel's recovery to the king and the queen." prince Daniel ,are you okay ?" Pexon asked with concern.Daniel looked at him ,peeking beneath his long eyelashes." yes,pexon.I am more than okay." he said ,with a smile tugging at his lips.

King David and queen Maria rushed into Daniel's chamber,with happy tears flowing down thier cheeks.Daniel was shielding his eyes with his palms to avoid excessive light ,he was unaccustomed to , because of the long days of sleep he was deep into.Imthyas rushed with soiled clothes to meet his best friend ,who came out of the coma."please ,close the curtains,imthyas.Its troubling Daniel's eyes." Queen Maria told with motherly concern and rushed to hug her son.

He was embraced by his loving parents and his best friend while Pexon stood happily seeing his prince has finally recovered.It was really dark in Daniel's chambers as all the curtains were closed.But as Daniel opened his eyes ,everything changed.There were two light beams,emitting blue light from his eyes.His eyes were sparkling aqua blue in colour like diamond crystals that were purified in the hottest fire and they shone brightly like a that of a tiger in the darkness of his chambers.

" mom,it's fine .I am back.Its alright.In fact ,I am more than alright." Daniel was consoling his weeping mother ,who have not yet looked into his eyes.King David looked stunned Imthyas was in a daze.Pexon stood there like a statue , wondering what happened to Daniel after he was struck by shadow creeder's spike, Gosselin.

Daniel patted the arms of his weeping mother , without looking at the stunned faces of his father and best friend." mom,it's okay.I am back and I am here,near you." He wiped the unushed tears from Maria's eyes ,holding her face .That's when Maria really saw the diamond pools shining in her son's face." Daniel...son..your eyes..it's blue."She mumbled in a whisper ,unable to believe herself.

Daniel looked at her confused for a millisecond." yes ,mother .It has always been blue.You were the one who told me that ,I inherited them from my great grandfather ."

" No..son,what she meant to say is that ,they are shining like diamonds , emitting light,like torches of blue light." King David came out of his dazed state and held his wife on his arms."father ,what do you mean..?Imthyas ,is what they are telling the truth?"Daniel turned to his best friend who could only nod.

The only one who dared to cut the stunned silence that spread across the dark chambers was pexon.He came forward taking a large mirror from Daniel's table and held it infront of Daniel.He looked at himself for a bit and gasped out loud.It was as like, he was looking at two blue lakes ,with blue diamonds fixed deep into them, that shone bright under moonight.

He was looking the same.His ruffled golden brown hair ,the beard that grew as he was in sleep ,his nose ,mouth ,face all looked the same ,except for the diamond pools he find himself drowning.What happened to his eyes?

The question bothered each one of thier minds,but no one was able to form it into a sentence and utter a word out.Pexon walked towards the door and ordered the guards to strictly prohibit anyone from entering the prince's chambers.He then proceeded towards the windows and opened the curtains wide open.Daniel shielded his eyes from light.He peeked through his long black lashes and when he opened his eyes again ,it looked almost normal.almost.There were sparkles in them.But nonetheless there were no beacons of light.

Everyone stared at Daniel's face and back to Pexon's.Daniel had a confused face.Pexon walked towards him and held up the mirror and there were only sparkles in them,green sparkles.Daniel touched his face." Pexon,how?"He asked in a muffled voice ,that can only be classified just above a whisper.

The question that was asked reflected minds of each person in the chamber.King David ,was the first to speak." Pexon,would you like to explain ,about how is this even possible ?"His voice was calm like a king but had the undertone of a concerned father.

"His highness,I would like to spent a little time with prince Daniel before ,I reach a hypothesis.This is something I have never seen before .forgive my incapability ,my lord."Pexon voiced out sympathetically.

Queen Maria was the one who answered his request." Pexon ,why are you talking about capabilities now ? You are the most trusted advisor of this kingdom.We are grateful for the knowledge passed down by the generations, you use ,for the prosperity of Atlantis kingdom and my home.We trust you and we grant you the time you requested. Meanwhile ,I request you to take the concerns of a father and mother about thier child ,into consideration while doing so."

"Exactly what my beloved queen said." King David held his wife's hands.Pexon gave them a gratefull nod.

Daniel watched thier interaction with Imthyas on his side.pexon walked to Daniel ,with his dark brown eyes fixed on Daniel.With his penetrating gaze , Daniel felt the depth of knowledge in the old greying eyes of Pexon.He looked like he was a powerful wise man who had so many assumptions to rule out ,calculated risks to be taken." your majesty,could you answer some of the questions I may have regarding the long sleep you had ?"pexon sounded like the professional,calm and calculated.Daniel nodded his head.

" prince Daniel ,do you remember anything or any one while you were falling or while you were bleeding or while you were sleeping?"pexons chin shone in the moonlight,his grey hair protruding to all sides.He looked like an ancient man with a powerful aura .

Daniel was deep in his thoughts.He tried to think ,to search deep within his memories.Shadow creeds strike was painfull.He remembered the blood.There was pain before he fell into sleep.But there was a dark cushion ,he thought ,it was deep brown. before he fell and something green looking at him with care and concern.He couldn't discern what it was.It frustrated him.What was that ? or who was that ?

" I can't remember pexon.There was something green.It looked like eyes .There was care and concern in them .And a cushion that I fell into ,dark brown,it was ,like someone's hair." Daniel finished mumbling.He could feel his head splitting ache and he fainted.
