Chapter 9 - Assistance (Denver)

"I'll need this threat eliminated Denver I don't know where they are hiding, but I need it taken care of, if the resistance rises again we might lose

And we still don't know if the person who killed every soldier on the hills that day is alive, we haven't seen their full capabilities and we would be fools to underestimate them." Said a pale and dark-haired man with long sleek hair, and a recently trimmed beard, he had scars down the side of his forehead, and his left eye was covered by a slightly torn eyepatch. He wore a dark black trench coat,

And His hands were covered by worn-out gloves that looked as if they had been torn from many battles in the past.

"Understood Lord Ren I'll sniff them out with my assassins and if they can't get the job done I'll do it myself, I have no problem getting my hands dirty."

Denver says with a blank expression

"Go quickly Denver I feel a storm coming and I must think of plans if things happen to go south," Ren says as he points his finger towards the door

"Understood Lord Ren I'll get to work," Denver says as he walks out of the room

"Wait.." Said, Ren

"Yes, Lord Ren?" Denver says in response

"Operation VeliK isn't even close to completion and if the resistance comes at us with the powers they have you would be my only hope, what I'm saying is you better not die before Operation VeliK can be completed,

After that I can care less about your worthless life, understand?" said Lord Ren

"Understood Master." Said Denver as he quietly walked out of the door.

If I have any chance of sniffing out these kids for Lord Ren I'm gonna need Kite (Key - tay) and her squad to find them, after that I can kill them off myself if I so choose.

Kite should be in her room meditating right now, I'll enter in quietly I thought to myself.

Denver slowly walks down the halls to a door unique from others,

Having a cracked ruby on the door with a serpent wrapped around it plated in silver.

"Who's there?" Kite asks sensing Denver's body heat from outside the door.

"It's Denver, I'm in need of your help for something if you mind opening the door."

Denver said unenthusiastically.

"And what if I don't open the door sweetheart?" Kite said jokingly

"Then I'll just have to break it down and drag you out, it would be easier and less of a headache if you cooperated," Denver said in an agitated tone

"Ugh you're no fun baby, I'll open the door then," Kite said in a soft tone before opening the door with her telekinesis.

The door opening to a pretty woman wearing purple lipstick and dark black hair ending at her shoulder, the edges of her hair dyed a dark green.

She had no scars on her at all as if she had never been in battle once.

Wearing a Hanju provided trench coat with multiple rings on her fingers

Each finger has a different color gem. Her nails painted all black, wearing dark purple contacts on her eyes.

"So what do you want?" Asked Kite

"I need you to sniff out nearby resistance members, and report their location to me, Do...not....kill...them, do you understand," Denver said demandingly

Kite slightly chuckles "Whatever you want sweetheart, now give me the bios of the people I'm hunting then get the hell out of my room." Kite said in response

"One is a man named Kenneth, multiple sightings of him have been made but we can't seem to pinpoint him, he has a tanto on him believed to be obtained from the War Of Morals and he has curled red hair, usually wearing a suit. Another man that was the grandson of the Resistance spy during the War Of Morals, his grandfather's house was burned down he was the only one that had escaped, that being so he has multiple scars and burns over his arms and legs and 2 scars that can clearly be seen across one of his eyes and across his forehead, he has braided black hair and that's the most we have for his bio, his name is unknown due to anyone knowing his grandfather name and his son's name were killed and files have been burned by resistance in recent months.

Those are the 2 main leaders of The Resistance as of now, there have been new members, but I'm sure they are busy training them in hiding, so they haven't made any moves yet, If you manage to find them now we can make quick work of them." Denver said

"Alright got it, I'll find them with ease, you can leave my room now." Kite sais

"Yeah I'll be going," Denver says as he walks out of the room and gently closes her door, his footsteps so light it was like he never walked away.
