"If I as an adult feel this way then imagine what our poor Tania must be going through right now," Gael added, he stole a glance at the girl sitting at Sophia's right-hand side.

"Steph is in a coma as we speak," Gabrielle blurted. Her eyes fluttered open to see Sophia and Gael jumped to their feet.

"Steph is not a human so why on Earth would she be in a coma?" Gael pointed out. "If this is a joke then let me tell you that it's not...,"

"Bella told me about it," Gabrielle declared. "And do all of you think that Bella here is the type to go about pranking people?" She retorted. Her eyes moved from one surprised face to the other.

All of them shifted their focus from Gabrielle to Bella.

"Is it really true that Steph is in a coma?" Kelly beat the others to ask first.

Her affirmation felt as if chilled water was poured on the five once doubtful vampires. Bella's reply mellowed them down.
