Chapter 13
I felt kinda distance from Brian after our argument , i felt sorry for him, he thinks this is the only way to survive.
I couldn't blame him, but i feared that if he makes the slightest mistake he is done for.
But i don't want to worry about it. Maybe i should forget about it, my mum started to check on me more often, it felt kinda weird but she was doing it for a good cause.
My dad stayed home for a week, it wasn't really normal for me because they were never together at all. My dad always put his work before us but now its different.
I walked out of the house not knowing where i was going. I stopped at the park and sat on the bench.
I looked threw some pictures of me and Brian, i really missed him. My thoughts stopped to a sound of a familiar voice.
"Hi"
I saw Brian, i ran up to him and gave him a hug.

"Look i'm really sorry" he said
"No, i never should have tried to change your life"
"No you were right, i quitted, and i never would have if some person didn't tell me to"
"Aren't they gonna come after you"
"Naw, they're my fam, i trust them"
I smiled giving him a kiss.
"Im also sorry for the danger i put you through, that wasn't cool"
"Its okay, and i don't mind if you try and teach me how to fight"
"Really?"
"Yep" i said popping the p
"Alri"
"We can train on Wednesday if your free" i suggested
"Sure"
I kissed him again and cuddled with him on the bench.
"So tell me about your family"
"What family?"
"Oh come on, don't think I haven't been wandering what you meant that night when you said I was the closest thing to family you got?"
"Its just really complicated"
"If I'm going to be your ride or die chick I might as well know more about the person who I'm riding for"
".." he took a gulp "well remember the day I told you about my best friend going to prison and the party and how I accidently joined the wild side"
"Oh yeah i remember that" i say, he takes a seat and i sit with him as he warms me up in his arms and kisses my forehead"
"Well my friend obviously had the drugs and i had to fill in his place... and well the truth is he didn't give me the drugs"
"Then why did you get dragged into this"
"Well i was the closest thing to family he got, i stayed with my mum and my dad left when i was younger, i was gonna be a football player, I was going to go big, business of all business men would have been assigned by me by the age of 19"

I soon drifted of to sleep. I got a little amount of sleep when i knew Brain wasn't by my side.

I saw the sunset when i woke up. I looked at the time and it was nearly 7.
I woke Brain up and we walked to my house talking about random stupid stuff.
He lead me to the door and kissed my hand like a gentlemen and i walked in smiling.
I saw dad running up and down. "What's happening." i asked calming my dad down
"Where were you? I'm late"
He kept on running, i walked to the kitchen to see my mum drinking coffee. I arch my brow pointing at dad.
"Whats his problem ?" I asked
"He's late for a business trip he's meant to be in sydney asap"
"He's just gonna leave, i thought he was a doctor, why is he travelling"
My mum shrugged, and took another sip of her coffee.
" so do you want to order a pizza"
"Yea we could have a movie night"
She smiled at my sudden reply and went to the phone.
I went upstairs to change into my candyland pyjamas i tied my hair up and came down, my dad was just about to leave then he came up to me.
"I need to tell you something" he said
