"I'm sure you're all wondering who this group is. Well, allow me to show you. The group that showed the best teamwork is group 2." Mr. James announced. I froze. Our group?! In just a few clicks, the pictures we took appeared on the screen. Mr. James did what he did with group 5's pictures and started to point out the little details that changed the story being told by the photos. "Look. The head is tilted outwards and up. A sign that you're confident. The group shot..." his voice faded in my ears as I turned my attention outside the window. It was there... The Moonlight Café. I remembered that I was going there with Lucy and Amelia later and sighed. Going to the café may or may not turn in my favor, but I hope it does. I sat in silence and waited for class to be over.

Hours later~

2:00 PM

We finally finished all of our classes and get to go home. I walked out of the gates with my bag, waiting for the car. I stood at the edge of the sidewalk with my phone in my hand. As other students walked by, I decided to put in my airpods and listen to music.

A few minutes later, I spotted my car. I opened the door and got in. "Hey, Luke." He simply looked back and smiled. I was confused as to why he didn't say anything, but I thought nothing else of it and moved on.

During the drive back home, I thought about what I would do if Laura really went to the café and tried to talk to me. I can't make it seem like she's a predator, otherwise we'd get evicted and go bankrupt. I can't just ignore her either, then she'll end up approaching me. But if she does? Do I just talk to her? What the hell am I gonna do? I mean I could've just decided not to go to the café, but it was for my friends and I don't wanna seem selfish or make them feel like they weren't worthy of my time.

"You're looking rather troubled. Is something wrong?" Lucas finally spoke as he watched me from the mirror. I looked up and shook my head, leaning back into the seat. "So, Erin's visiting London next week. I thought it would be fun to let you meet her." I heard my brother speak. My gaze shot upwards to look at the older boy's reflection. "I never mentioned that we were in a long-distance relationship." He continued. I smiled a bit, excited about the news. "You didn't have to. I assumed you both were doing the whole long-distance thing, anyway." I replied, chuckling a bit. Lucas rolled his eyes with a grin and continued to drive.

Once the car was parked outside the house, I entered the house, which was silent. "I'm home!" I announced to nobody in particular. The door closed behind me as Lucas walked inside the house. "Aunt Bella's not here." My brother said to me. I walked to the living room and placed my bag on the sofa. "Where'd she go?" I asked the older boy who sat next to me. "I don't know. She just said she was going out." He shrugged and continued to scroll through his social media. Aunt Bella's never been this discreet before. What's going on? Chances are she's out on a date, but that can only be confirmed if she brought her special bag. A black Prada clutch that was covered with sparkles. There was only one way to find out. "What bag was she bringing?" I looked at Lucas as I interrogated. He made a confused face at me. I looked at him expectingly, waiting for an answer. "Oh, you're serious?" Lucas suddenly said. I rolled my eyes and let out a disappointed sigh. "Yes. Just answer the question." I stated firmly. Lucas paused and brought his hand up to his chin, trying to recall what he saw. "I'm not sure what brand it was, but she had a black sparkly bag. I thought is was weird to have such a fancy bag as an accesory for such casual clothing." My brother said. I smiled in victory as I got my answer. I snapped my fingers and patted Lucas on the shoulder. "She's out on a date." I confirmed with a smirk. My brother looked at me with wide eyes. "You're kidding, right?" Lucas questioned my conclusion. I shook my head and cleared my throat. "I've lived with Aunt Bella for 7 years. She always has a signature bag she brings when she goes to specific occasions. For a date, Aunt Bella always brought a sparkly, black clutch bag." I enlightened the older boy who wore an amused smile. "Well, if you have anywhere else to go, just tell me. I'll think of an excuse for you." Lucas said with a laugh. I thanked him and went upstairs to start getting ready, that is mentally and physically.

I changed into sweatpants and an oversized shirt, just for the few hours I'd have to wait before changing my clothes again. I decided to take a nap while waiting for 6 o' clock to come around.

*beep beep*

My alarm woke me up. I checked the time and sighed in relief, it's 4 PM. The first thing that came to mind was meeting up with Lucy and Elia. It was raining heavily outside, so I put on black jeans, a sweater, and I topped it off with a jacket. I grabbed my phone and wallet and walked downstairs. "Luke?" I called for my brother. No response. Aunt Bella brought her car, so I guess I'll take a taxi. I texted my brother, letting him know that I was gonna go out.

Once I got a reply, I let out a sigh of relief. After walking for a while, I was able to get into a taxi.

At the café~

I stepped out of the cab, adjusting the jacket on my shoulders. I opened the doors to the café and saw Elia and Lucy sitting at a table nearby. Once they saw me, I waved and cautiously walked towards them. As soon as I took a seat at the table, I felt a chill run down my spine. Someone was watching me. I glanced around for a bit, and then I saw her. The demon herself, Laura Wilcox.
